I’ve been to several different gyms and none of them have been as great as this one. The staff are so friendly and really focus on making sure the gym stays clean. Stacie is the manager and she is the sweetest! I don’t have the biggest support group so she makes sure to check in with me to help hold me accountable. The staff here is less concerned with their sales and more concerned with helping you be successful! The equipment is kept up with and stays put away instead of being scattered across the gym like La Fitness. There is all sorts of types of equipment and I’ve never had problems trying to get certain types of machines. My favorite part about this gym is the women’s area, there is an area for lifting and a separate area for cardio! The cardio area is dark which is nice and they have movies playing on a projector. The classes are great, my favorite it the HIIT class, but I plan on trying Zumba soon. This gym motivates me to come everyday and I couldn’t be happier with it!

I joined Fitness Connection the November of 2019. My experience has been nothing but positive and encouraging. All levels of staff, especially Colin, have treated me with respect, showing a true sense of care for my health needs. My professional trainers, Kristie and Reese, work with me twice a week. When my schedule allows, I workout at least three additional times each week. I regret that I did not come to Fitness Connection sooner.

You have to cancel by mailing in an actual cancellation request via snail mail... Which is no guarantee that it works as per mine and many others reviews.Salesman blatantly lie and tell you you can cancel with them or over the phone immediately. Bought a "$10" membership a little over a year and a half ago on a credit card and just went back and realized I've been screwed out of over $400 in monthly fees and miscellaneous charges.Highway robbery using a sub-par quality gym as bait. Morally decrepit business concept and structure built for knowing they are the lowest quality of their industry around. DO NOT sign up for this convoluted concept with dirty equipment and insanely disrespectful staff.

MAJOR IMPROVEMENT: I called today to cancel membership and I was able to do it over the phone. This has been a major pet peeve with me for a long time that you had to send in a written / certified mail to cancel account if needed. I commend Fitness Connection for making it as simple as a phone call to cancel service. If I decide to join a gym again in future, Fitness Connection will be a consideration.

When you’re a member the gym is great. Staff is friendly and price is great for everything you’re able to do (24hrs, different classes, kids care) but when you want to cancel man do they make it difficult. I may cancel for good since I was only planning to cancel for about a year, depending on doctors orders, but this process is not worth a second time. You have to call and listen to a recording that spits out the address and requirements faster than you can write it and you either have to wait for the entire message to complete or call back and go through the prompts and listen again. The requirements are certified and postmarked letter with written reason, which is such a pain to have to take time to go to the post office to have this done. I get they don’t want people to cancel but this is a bit much. When the doctor gives me the go ahead to do more than just walking and light weights I’ll probably invest in equipment from amazon because this hassle has turned me off from this gym completely.

BEWARE! The gym is fairly clean but the staff are rude and unprofessional. I called to get information on how to cancel my membership and was told I had to cancel in person then the girl hung up on me. I immediately went to the location to cancel and was then told I had to give a 60 day notice to cancel and would be charged two more payments. I will never do business with fitness connection again. I’m adding this additional information to my original post: After submitting the cancellation request, I was still charged for the annual fee in January 2020. I have called Fitness Connection regarding the charge and was told they needed to research why my credit card was charged again after the accountant was canceled and they would remove the charge. It is now February and fitness connection still has not removed the charge. I have filed a complaint with the credit card company and the Better Business Bureau. I’m canceling the credit card to keep them from charging again.

DO NOT SIGN UP HERE! It is a complete RIP off! My 2 daughters and I were members at the Lewisville location, when they went off to the military I had to jump through hoops to cancel their membership. Then when I canceled, they continued to charge me. When I finally stopped payment they sent me to collection saying I owed then $228!! $10 a month turned into $228? They are fine until you need to move on. It isn't worth it. Find another gym. I've been a member of many and this one was completely crazy with cancellation and overcharging fees you don't realize was in the fine print. Save yourself the mess they're put us through. Don't. Do.it!

Love your gym especially the womens only area, employees are cool and accommodating, big request to please extend the hours back to 24 hours.As school is out and I am a single mother to three kids, I used to work out at night when I put the kids to bed and now I cannot go at all since the kids club is closed. Please, please consider my request so I can come work out again. Haven’t been able to gym since March when the shut down started!

Went in for a tour the other day and based on that would definitely not recommend. Employee started with this completely unnecessary survey that was so invasive, at one point in the tour I had to step on a scale so the employee could write down my weight. On top of that, she had really poor customer service, acted like she would rather be anywhere else the whole time, and barely answered any of my questions. As for the gym itself, there's lots of equipment but it's all dated, dirty, and incredibly overcrowded. Save yourself the time and money, it's definitely not worth it.
