This gym is nice, but I cancelled my membership in favor of a home gym. I sent in a cancellation for my gym membership on January 6, 2020. I followed all instructions and used certified mail as required. I was able to confirm over the phone with someone at the Webster, TX corporate office that my cancellation had been received. Now, almost two months later, I am still being billed. I have disputed the charge with my bank. The gym is nice, but if I had known that cancelling would be such an ordeal, I would have paid more for a different gym.

I love my gym! I'm so glad it's open and when I can get a sitter, I go. I love the women's area and I always see someone cleaning no matter what time I go. I wanted to give 5 stars but I'm sad about the kid's area being closed. I know it's a COVID-driven, safety precaution, but it keeps me from going as often as I want and need to go. You cannot beat the price. I hope to continue my membership there for years to come. It's already been over 6 years for me and I've seen nothing but improvements.

Was a member of this gym & location for 6 yrs, even before they were purchased by Fitness Connection. Great gym, equipment & amenities, but the customer service lacked.Was on hold for 20 minutes in the call tree trying to cancel & decided to call back to get a live person at this location. Cancelled my membership, but being charged another month, glad to see you are enforcing your T's & C's of the agreement during this pandemic. On top of being closed for 2 months during the start of this pandemic, shutting down class or sections of the gym that are the driving force to come.Glad to know, corporate collects their monthly fee & skips out on the customer service during this time. Will be double thinking returning when gyms fully open.

Worst gym ever. Everything is a ripoff. Lose your card? $10. Want to cancel? You have to mail and they'll sit on it until you follow up with them. Happened with two other friends of mine. They'll try to get you signed up Even if it means lying or being deceptive. Their bottom line is selling as many memberships as possible. Gym is overcrowded and equipment are rarely maintained or cleaned. Stay out of this gutter hole gym. Their management down to the front desk is unprofessional and rude.

I have not had to go through the issues if cancelling as I am still a member and enjoy the gym. With that said, the staff are friendly and the equipment availability (they have rowing machines!) is great. I also love using the sauna after a workout. Add in childcare for ALL THREE of my kids (which is included with membership) while I work out and you really can’t find a better value out there. My kids love coming to the gym with me and the childcare staff is always kind.

please do't join to fitness connection . if you join you can not go offjoining to fitness connection it means lifetime membership or (life time payment, )they will not let you go , i give them letter 7 month ago i told them i am moving .I don't want to continue being member of fitness connection but they didn't lesson to me,,up to today , they think i am member and they sent me bill just i receive two bill each $161.28they took my credit card also two times $47 plus and twice $22 plusthey just don't let me to go

I would not even give them one star but it was the only way I could write a review...... I have been trying to cancel my membership since April 1st and I have copies of not 1 not 2 but 3 letters I have sent. First one claim they didnt get, second one they got but won't accept because it wasn't certified, 3rd one they have and it was certified. I also have proof that I paid thru May 1st but I recently received a collection letter for $130.....tell me how i have all the proof in the world that not only did I pay but I also followed procedures and I am still dealing with this in August. .oh and the same issue with the personal trainers they have same issues.........if you want months of frustration trying to cancel a membership than this is the place for you.....I WOULD NOT JOIN THIS GYM!!!!!!!

DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM. First issue is when this gym quadruple charged me. You got that right not double or even trippled charged but QUADRUPLE charged me.Afterwards- I sent the appropriate cancellation form via certified mail, they lost it, and now want me to send it again. So now I have a fraudulent "balance due letter". Absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT trust these people with your valuable money.I will be taking this up with the better buisness Bureau

Called up to the lewisville location to cancell my membership. Was told I had to be there in person to cancell. I moved out of state and had didnt need the membership anymore, so when I was in town to move some more stuff I stopped by the cancel. I was then handed a slip of paper and told to mail in my cancellation. Weird how they can sign me up there and take my money there but not cancell the membership there. Seeing other reviews stating they have sent in this form several times with no luck. I will be sending my forum in only once. If it is not cancelled after that then I will be contacting the FTC or the BBB or anyone else that will make them wish they didnt try to lock me into to this contract.

Bad customer service. From the time I signed up to my first session at the gym. No greeting when you walk thru the door, staff at desk had no clue and were rude. I ponted this out to the manager and he apologized. Because of the niceness of the head manager I signed up for a membership. My first exercise assessment, the trainer made me cry. He kept talking about how big I am and made me feel weight shamed. It was embarrassing. I went on with my assessment because I wasn't going to let someone else's negativity about my image keep me from my goal.***I am going to try this gym out for a period of time and give my review (updates) on the gym, the cleanliness, the machines/classes, and the customer service. So far....not so good.
