Not hooper friendly if you work 9-5. The security guards will not allow gym bags in the court while the rest of the gym is allowed to carry bags throughout the facility.If the security guard is done hooping at 8pm, then the basketball court closes at 8pm, if his boys are still playing, he'll leave it open to 9-9:30pm. You got to be part of the "click" if you want to get some solid hooping time in the evenings/nights. Not recommended if you're trying to get some games in the evenings.On top of that, the courts are too small, unable to hold a 5 v 5, non- regulation courts. 4 v 4 games are too crowded. Not worth the hassle if you're truly trying to ball.The gym machines are nice, my disappointment is solely based on the basketball court operation.

Review is fully based on front desk. Two girls at the front desk not very helpful. I asked for help they looked at me like I was crazy. Seemed like their conversation between them was more important. If anyone of importance reads this make sure you educate about business product and teach empathy towards paying customers. The job is not that hard.

Overall, Fitness Connection is a good gym but like all businesses, they can improve a few things. The equipment gets damage more often and takes a while to be repair but luckily they have some alternatives to use. One complaint is that occurs more often now is their employees come in late during opening time. It shows maybe they are having issues finding reliable staff but if you want an early workout, it's better to come later in the morning because you could be waiting over an hour to enter from their "opening time". Besides the unpredictable staff, the gym is great. The space is great and and I've been a member for over 4 yrs now. Really the biggest issue is the gym does not have reliable staff and their business hours range based on the staff member working that day.Current, more than 20 members are waiting to enter the gym for over 1 hour and a half with no staff member here yet. This has occur multiple times at this gym.

Been going for 4 years to this gym to play basketball specifically, but the time they posted is different from the time the security guards close the basketball court , tried to tell them the time change to 10 from Monday to Thursday but they said they make the rules and close at 8 . Super bummer since I recommend all my friends that play basketball to show up only to be turned around that it’s closed

Really disappointing this whole process. This gym has been a nightmare. I requested a freeze on my son's account for his PT and they they froze everything. Then they called me and told me about another plan that was cheaper than the one I had, and I agreed to get it. Well that put it in my nickname and didn't delete or merge the accounts. So total balance to eliminate this unprofessional, ridiculous, never calls you back or helps a customer is===== NOT PRICELESS but a total of 1000.00 for their inability to communicate effectively. Seriously if you need a Manager find a good one because this behavior is unacceptable. I wanted for OVER 2 WEEKS FOR THE DISTRICT MANAGER to CALL BACK! Another unprofessional, amateur response. Do these people have a degree, I mean it doesn't take basic communications to pick up and phone call and CALL! I will be posting this everywhere UNTIL someone calls. Thank you!

It has been a month since they added a restriction time to the basketball courts due to security schedule. The schedule for Sunday was 10am - 4pm that was shown on the window when you first arrived. Now the schedule has changed again to 12pm. This was not stated upon arrival. I saw the sign on the door of the courts stating temporarily closed. I went back to the front desk and was told they do not open the basketball court until 12 now due to new management and security hours. The changing of time and policy should be notified/announced to paying customers prior to the change(good business practices). We should not have to find out about the change once dressed and ready to workout. The gym has been back up and running since the pandemic and still not 24 hours. I am very close to canceling my membership. I also know my friends feel the same way about canceling.

Nice gym, but many of the machines are out of order for too long

Before writing this review, know that, yes, I did first reach out to Fitness Connection several times. I voiced my concerns about the facilities cleanliness and overall experience. Unfortunately I was told many excuses and made many promises and nothing has changed, so I’m making my review public.I was told that “We only have one cleaning lady and she can’t work all the time.”First, you just admitted that the facility doesn’t get cleaned on the days that she isn’t present. That’s a huge issue!Second, I completely understand being short staffed, most business are! But if a business can’t keep up with basic cleaning elements of running a gym due to the influx in occupancy that they caused by reducing their hours, then they shouldn’t be open.It is absolutely unacceptable to find used feminine douches, tampons, sanitary pads, panty liners, underwear, toilet paper and more, on a regular bases in the locker room showers!You can’t follow behind someone nor be in the locker rooms 24/7, but you CAN do what you promised to do and put a trash bin in the shower area.I won’t even address how offended I am that the “benched shower” for the disabled doesn’t have any privacy.Fitness Connection has given so little thought for diversity that they didn’t even put a shower curtain in the ONE shower shall we can use safety!Free Childcare? No one should feel safe dropping off their kids off at the kid center!It’s not really free if you drop off you’re children and they go home sick.What makes you think they are concerns for you’re childrens safety if they can NOT even complying with the BASIC cleaning COVID-19 recommendations and best practices from the State of Texas?Why are so many items broken? From bathroom sinks, water fountains, workout machines, to soap and paper towel dispensers? And for weeks and months on end?Everyone talks about how amazing this gym is, and it really WAS at one time, but the past is the past and it’s not anymore!Please take a look at the photographs attached to this review and make your own judgments. Some pictures look alike, but are taken on different days to further prove my point that the gym is NOT cleaned on the daily.My recommendations for a safer and more pleasant gym experience.1. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces, such as workstations, keyboards, telephones, handrails, and doorknobs. Clean dirty surfaces with soap and water prior to disinfection. To disinfect, use products that meet EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID- 19, and are appropriate for the surface.2. Give privacy to ALL stalls! Also consider making standard showers stalls universal sense they are all of large size.3. Put a waste basket in the shower area so that all trash can be disposed of properly.4. Consider hiring another housekeeper so that the facility can be cleaning on the days that the other housekeeper is off.

Trainer, Jose, texted me the same day I signed up and told me I would get a free workout the next day. Bs'd me for an hour only to ask if I'd sign up for personal training. I told him no and I never got that free workout. Keep your credit carf up to date or get charged a fee. Trying to quit? Well, send a letter and wait a month. Yeah, they really care about you. Yeah, yeah right.

I typically do not leave many reviews on anything but this definitely deserves recognition. Yesterday I had an amazing employee by the name of Lexi willingly and enthusiastically helped by going the extra mile. Not only was she kind, caring and attentive but she was extremely supportive! Super excited to be a part of fitnesses connection especially with someone like her on the team !
