I’ve too many bad things to say about planet fitness that I’ve taken it to corporate.Changed my bank information & never going back , worst gym I’ve ever been to .Not to mention when you cancel they still take your money and say you cannot cancel .Also got called broke by an employee for trying to cancel .They also kept running a card that was clicked to be a ONE TIME CHARGE ! I just regret this not to mention I signed up on a promotional offer and I was told I’d be paying 18$ for 12 months and here they are taking out 60$ ! For what? I don’t know and I have the receipt and proof to prove everything .Lifetime & golds gym are better gyms for sure !

Very clean facility. Showers have a small cubby for you to put your shower things in there instead of the ground.Social distancing implemented on the machines so that there’s one empty machine between you and another person. They stay on top of the cleanliness very well which I appreciated.Friendly staff that greets you when you arrive AND when you’re heading out.Great variety of channels playing while you workout.

Excellent work out as usual. The place is always clean. There is plenty of equipment available for you to move around and complete your program. People are very courteous. They all take the precautions of cleaning the equipment with the spray bottles and paper towel available at stations throughout the gym. I love the music and I like to see Americans getting out and getting back in shape.

I was in the club and spoke to the GM. He was kind but he refused to assist me. I asked to speak with the owner and was told that the owner doesn't respond to problems such as this as if it's too minute for him. You guys are billing my alternate payment source first (I have the contract) and then after that doesn't go through because that card was closed due to fraudulent charges, then they go and bill my primary billing source and then charge me a late fee so instead of paying 22.00 for a black membership I've been charged 38.37 for 6 months and I'm told I can't cancel this membership until I pay the annual renewal fee. It's funny that you guys charge my debit card for everything else but not the renewal fee. This has been happening since January and unfortunately I am busy and don't pay close attention to my bank account. Totally my fault but I have never once received a phone call, text, email, nothing to advise me that there was an issue. My email address nor phone number have changed. I would think that a business with a good reputation would try to contact the customer, pull me to the side when I come to the gym, none of this has ever happened. Instead I have a young man on the phone arguing with me last Friday telling me that I haven't made a payment since January. No one knows what's going on and doesn't seem to care. They seem all to comfortable charging my alternate payment source initially instead of charging the primary one. Again, a phone call would have sufficed and showed that I, as a customer, am important to you.

Updated review: This place is even worse then the last time I did this review. They've had the roof leaking and pipes leaking now. No telling how much black mold is growing and we're inhaling. I've asked like 6 times when they are even going to fix the big clock on the wall which has been wrong since the power outage back in February. I think this may be my last time in the gym since even the managers don't fix stuff you bring to their attention. Attaching mire pics. You tell me if this is the kind of gym you want to pay a monthly fee for.This used to be a nice Planet Fitness to go to. Changing my review because things in the gym stay broken or need repaired for months on end. Case in point, the water fountain has been broken for 4 months. Why are we getting charged a maintenance fee every year? They tell you to social distance but the worked don't follow it. There will be 3 to 5 people at the counter on their phone when things in the gym need taking care of.

This is a pretty busy gy . Staff is great! The only issue is that the floor is real dirt . All types of hair and dus . Not once have I seen anyone vacuum. i hope something can be don .

I moved back to the Mesquite area from Garland awhile back.... when I lived in Garland I would work out at the 24 Hour Fitness there off of Walnut Lane ,which I truly enjoyed, but I can't say the same for the Mesquite location. The Garland location is twice the size of the Mesquite location and has a lot more variety of workout equipment, no matter what time of the day at Garland you could go in and get a workout in and NEVER have to wait for a machine... ever ! I am very disappointed with arriving to this location and can't get in a workout because it is filled beyond capacity with no place to work out...sucks !

Very clean, outside is sceptical though. They need more light8ng outside because it's creepy. Gym equipment is well maintained. With $21 membership you can tan, hydro massage and bring guest for free

New location & many associates ready to help/clean. PF started using the app so very little interaction & touching. Mobile app also tells you about crowds through the 'crowdometer.'Almost everyone wears a mask while working out, and they have blocked off every other machine.

I like the gym but it can sometimes get over crowed and you have to wait to use the equipment and some people are literally just standing at the equipment chit-chatting like no one else needs to work out. But on the plus side, the staff are very helpful when you need your questions answered. I did cancel my membership.
