Nice gym. Been a member for a long time... plenty of cardio machines though they are starting to show wear. Weight lifting area has become extensive. There used to be two locations to stretch, do sit ups, free weights, and calisthenics. Both have been replaced with more weight equipment. This wasn't a problem until they started scheduling classes in the meditation room. There needs to be space for people (and trainers for that matter) to stretch and do other workouts without having to schedule their routine around studio classes.

New York Sports Club facilities were poorly maintained and outdated. The equipment was old and in desperate need of repair. My experience is not good at all.

I’d like the thank all the parents of the surrounding area for signing up there 14-16 year old children for play time at Nysc gym ! They have endless fun pushing punching and running around while the adults try and workout ! They are dressed appropriately in pajamas and slippers and have the best time ! Some of them even try and hurt themselves lifting weights ! Congratulations intelligent parents of Scarsdale now i hate your kid just as much as you do !

It's a nice gym, accept if you want to go at anytime after 3 pm and not feel like you are in ronald mcdonalds playhouse babysitting kids with ADD. The staff needs to hire a babysitter, i have seen at least 3 assaults everytime I have gone after highschool hours. I am talking headlocks, wrestling, screaming. And lower the price for women, this place is a sausage party.

I’ve been a member at NYSC for a very long time. Lately my 2 favorite Yoga classes are canceled due to lack of instructors. Overall the class schedule is way down from pre-COVID levels. Hoping management makes reinstating classes, especially yoga, a priority.

Member since 1995. Other members are considerate the parking is free and plentiful. I live in a mile, so convenient. Hours of operation are meeting my needs. I’ve been able to adjust my workouts over the 27 years to meet my level of capability. I have switched from barbells to weight machines. I have adjusted my aerobics workout. The front desk is welcoming. The club cleanliness is consistent with their daily cleaning staff
