They can be sticklers at the front desk but gym is well kept. Members are considerate (except for one woman but thats another review). Right next to Aldis and dollar tree in case you forget something

Pretty good gym. Clean. Friendly staff when checking in. The treadmills suck every single one has something wrong with it and makes running annoying as hell. Usually what’s wrong with it is something rattles super loud, and there’s one or two that once you get past like 6.5mph it glitches and goes 5.4mph to 6.6mph, 6.2mph up and down. Stupid

This is my gym, I am a member since it opened as it offered 24/7, but unfortunately its not 24 hours any more which is down point for me personally, but overall gym is nice and clean with clean locker room, plenty of parking. During peak hours its busy and sometimes you need to wait for machines.

The gym!! Which is where I should really should start heading once more. I have been going there regularly in the past. I stopped after a little while, why? Because I was not motivated to continue on working out to continue on going to the gym. But I do not want to let myself go and end up becoming obese I want to gain muscle mass I want to slim down down a little bit when I really am trying to say is that I want to be fit once again. But what am I doing this is supposed to be a review. When I first went to this Planet Fitness I thought that there was going to be a pool. I was sadly mistaken but I wasn't disappointed not every gym needs a pool although that would be very convenient. The only thing that I can say about this gym is that you have to be mindful about others. Think about the next person who may want to use the machine you have to clean up after yourself before you leave your station. It's common sense. If you cannot clean up after yourself then perhaps you don't deserve using that machine. Also, you may also want to be mindful of the amount of time you spend on the machine everybody has a busy schedule. Respect it and limit your time on the machine. You know, I really do like going to the gym that have less people so I must get there on a good day

I absolutely hate this location. The bathroom is always disgusting and smells weird. For the most part the staff do tend to keep the actual gym relatively clean. I don't understand why bikes are usually broken every week or so. So at any given time it's like 2 bikes at a time working. But at $10 a month I can deal.

Avoid the crowd. You will not get the machines you want because some sweaty person is sitting on it while on their phone or heaving for 5 minutes before doing another set.I been going to the night time hours. The one staff member sucks at his job, as he plays with his phone and does not even look at you while trying to purchase a beverage or ask questions. He could at least put the weights that are strewn about away, or pick up trash.I really dislike how there are weights, wrappers, and paper towels everywhere. I understand it is the Bronx, and that the people are nasty, but the staff could at least make a walk around every half hour to put weights away and to pick up trash.Addendum: Thanks for the response. I had forgotten to mention that although the employee was busy with his phone, he was facing the beverage storage which had its door wide open for an unknown period of time. On my most recent visit at around 3 AM I had found the single employee asleep on the massage chair. I also came in on a Monday when it opened up at midnight. I do not know why there were dustbunnies everywhere, tootsie roll wrappers, and even an unwrapped tootsie roll. I do not want to be inhaling dust (there were at least 5 bunnies under the rowing equipment) and do not want pests coming and eating the candy that is on the floor. The employee also was playing some speech thing loudly on his laptop. You could hear this across the entire gym as there was no music on the speakers. I guess he had no time to do a quick sweeping?

It’s overall a decent location; however I wish it were cleaner and the customer service was a little better. During the weekends the lights should not be shut off at 5 to 7. Not only is it rude to the customers, but it is also a safety hazard. Keeping the gym from being well lit could lead to injury for ex. Tripping over weights or machines. The gym lights should only be shut off once everyone (customers & staff) have already exited the building.

This is my favorite Planet Fitness location in the Bronx! The space is huge. I rarely wait for a machine, because there are so many available. The staff is friendlier than most.

The gym is ok but they need to pay more attention to the bathrooms. Staff are friendly including the manager. One thing though they need more free weights. Idk if it's because of their no judgement policy but most people come for threadmill, bicycle and other cardio machines.

This place is nice staff is cool, you get what you pay for, if you are coming in to workout then you should have no issues! Been coming here for 7 months daily and have not had any issues highly recommended. Daniel the manager is very attentive.
