I came here at 9 at night and I'm very disappointed in how this gym is being run by the employees. I went to use the hrydomassage chair and saw an employee was using the hydromassage chair,texting on his cellphone. I asked the girl at the front desk how long until the massage chair will be free? She went and looked at the other employee in the chair and said 7 minutes. Employees who are on duty shouldn't be on their cellphones sitting in the hydromassage chair while clients are waiting to use it. I am highly disappointed in this gym and how it's employees treat their clients.not to mention the customer service is severely poor. Needless to say, I am not sure if I will be returning to this location.Sincerely,A very disappointed customer

I cancelled my membership today to be exact. Reasoning being is the inconsistency of the customer service these memeber representatives performed.They hire a new person which this person gave me an attitude with aggression for pulling out my jump rope out my gym bag. The new candidate formed a snotty attitude stating I'll get my manager. However: I waited 1 hour for the manager while I was working out. An hour later, I spoke to the manager , the manager also gave me an attitude stating "I don't care" because I told her I'm cancelling the membership. The customer service in this place is not professional. Hire young people with no education and class. To bad for planetfitness I was a member for over a year. I pay for my quality lifestyle living therefore my health suppose to be the same. I moved on to a better gym with more equipments and better services. This gym need to evacuate all the member representative and hire educated people with common sense.I understand planetfitness regulation but they have ropes in this place but jump ropes aren't allowed. Their whole regulations policy contradicts it self just like their employees.

Attend this gym at your own risk. There is a whole bunch of low life thieves that hang out in the locker room ready to rob others. I've had a few family members and friends that were robbed of their belongings while working out only to come back to the locker room and see their locks clipped and all their belongings GONE. More than one person that I know has experienced this which means it happens A LOT. I canceled my membership the minute I found out about this and made sure to inform everyone I know. Again, sign up at your own risk. You may be better off spending a few extra bucks and finding a gym that's not in the ghetto. Those $10 a months come with a cost - you get to work out with low lives.

Decent gym for the price. I live out of town; but, keep my membership there for when I return to the Bronx. All kinds of people go there, in shape, out of shape, wish they were in better shape - - you name it! It's a good vibe because you can tell people are not judging each other in there.

Ample parking."Madison Security" patrols the parking lot as well and not only watches the vehicles but they helped me when I was locked out of my car once.Clean gym, regular people go at the same time so you get to know them, good to go solo or with a friend.

I first enrolled here, the parking is big since it's linked with other business. But the machines inside you have to be cautious, we all signed that waver form if something happens to you it's on you. Today I found a treadmill glitching while running, I had it on 78 and it flickered on the screen and switched to 65. A message came on the display can't run, and I felt the belt was a bit loose this was dangerous. I reported the problem to the employees and they informed Danny the manager. They did not put a out of order sign to avoid injury, they did not disconnect the machine to get adjusted. The best part is I have it on video, so words mean nothing when you have live footage. If your strict with your routine travel farther and avoid this spot.

Good gym but when we stayed till closing, workers shut off the lights while people on machines. Someone got hurt. Now there's a surprise. The machines are in need of repair and no signs when one is not working. They are a lawsuit ready to happen.

The bathrooms at this gym are so dirty. You could see employees acting like they are working and cleanning machines in the workout areas but no one in the back cleaning the bathrooms. Nasty place... showers even more disgusting. Some machines don't work but they don't even have out of service signs, not until you wipe the machine down and are ready to work out you realize it's doesn't work -_- .

I started working out here in January 2016. In general, the gym is modestly clean but the members display very poor bathroom manners, often using without flushing. Nasty!!! Also, people manipulate the four weight bars next to the leg machines so it's impossible for others to get a chance to use them. The staff are okay but some members tend to gather at the desk to socialize, so much so that I have to wonder: Do they work there too? When machines are not working there are no signs on them and you waste time wiping then down, only to get a rude surprise. Great parking, and close to my home (1 mile). Recommendations: Get more weight bars, 4 is inadequate! Put alarms in the bathrooms prompting folks to flush after use and wash their dirty hands, ugh!

Nice place.....!!!! Minor improvements needed...... Easy and beautiful parking space. I love the security patrol idea. So far the best in the Bronx. Great workers..... Ms Hosler is an excellent manager.
