At first like anything I did not like the place.. but after going for a couple of months maybe a year or so I met everyone from the trainer, shining who's great and very inspiring to the front staff everyone is amazing I love little Caitlin, her Smiles in the morning and her good mornings are great to walk into.... Steven picks up the phone with such professionalism. And I must say the place is very clean Keep up the good work ..

I like this place but I wish they would post signs about people sitting on the machines for long period of time using they’re phone and not the machine. This place is usually a little crowded in the mornings and is very upsetting when all you want to do is exercise and leave and the limited machines they have are being occupied by people using they’re phones and not working out! Please post LARGE SIGNS indicating proper etiquette when using the gym.Update: I have spoken to the people in the front several times about the situation but it goes unattended. I really enjoy coming to this place as I feel welcome by most of the gym goers. I just wish that they address the fact that some people become owners of certain machines & don’t allow others to use them as they stay there for over 40 minutes. Also when you sit in a machine to have conversation or text on your phone you’re taking up space that someone else can be using as I stated before please address this situation as I really enjoy this gym & would love to continue coming. Great workout for an even greater price just some people ruin it for others.

My wife and I went to possibly join today. We waited patiently on line behind a family signing up. While still signing them up, the employee waved us around them. We asked to look around to see if the gym has the machines we needed. We were told we had to sign a waiver or wait for a tour. ( I would have signed a waiver but I know they don't exist because they want to try to sell you on the club as your touring) Because he was still dealing with the family in front of us, he told us to have a seat and wait. He made no effort to call over another employee. Over ten minutes later, the family in front of us is done and now another employee appears. Another five minutes later, they are both talking to eachother at the desk, we're still waiting. We decided to walk out. Even as we walked out, neither employee showed any interest or tried to stop us. Absolutely horrible impression...thank goodness we weren't paying for that kind of non-existent customer service.

They have a nice range of machines which is good. But there isn't an area dedicated to floor exercises which is annoying and you have to slot around the machines. The smaller dumbbells feel like there crammed into a corner whilst the larger dumbbells have more space to workout and there's a mirror. Also the fountain water doesn't taste great and you have to bring your own lock for the lockers

Went today 4th of July. This place is terrible. People working out in dirty jeans, street clothes, and construction boots. Staff says nothing. People walking in who are not members. People don’t know how to act with the proper gym decorum. Nasty attitudes everywhere from this population at this location. The place was over crowded. Paper Towel machines always broken or empty. The worst experience I ever had in my life. I am cancelling my membership. Never again.

I wish they would keep this place cleaner. The showers smell and often have leftover stuff from other people in them. The toilets are equally disappointing. The lockers apparently never get cleaned since there is mold and rust growing in most of them. It’s sad that PF has no system for quality in place. Instead they want us to tell the staff what should be their job. Why don’t you tell the manager of the gym to read these reviews instead of telling us to spend extra time to get in touch with them? (I knew you would reply with the same old generic and meaningless reply. I’m not wasting my time waiting for the manager. If they can’t maintain their standards - if standards even exist - all we are left to do is warn others before they sign up.) Oh well, hope they get it some day. Parking is excellent here, but the weekend schedule (closes at 7pm) for a NYC location is sad. I thought the city never sleeps?

The machines get a lot of use, as this is a VERY busy location. However, the machines are not serviced or upgraded in a timely manner. The women’s locker room is not cleaned or replenished (toilet tissue and paper towels) enough, based on traffic. I’ve had to ask the staff to restock the cleaning stations, way more than I’ve cared to! Not unlike most service establishments, the staff likes to coagulate at the “register” or greeting station- when they should be circulating the floor and providing service. The staff is friendly, for the most part. And the atmosphere is usually encouraging, between guests. Plus, there is parking.

Always busy and hard to get on any machines during prime hours. I spend more time waiting for a machine than actually work out. At least the locker room is clean.

Standard Planet Fitness. This place can get packed quick and there is always a rush for the Smith machine. I prefer the 3rd Avenue 149th one because it's never packed. Planet Fitness has a peak chart on Google, I would suggest using it.

Worst “gym” ever! So dirty. The treadmills NEVER work. Sweaty tissues all over the treadmill cup holders. And the water fountain? 🤮 Do NOT drink that water. It isn’t filtered. I stopped coming to this location because it gets worse and worse everytime I came here. Stay away! …
