I’ve been member of that particular location on 125 the street for more than one year, they charged me 57$ per month, we never had napkins or paper towels in toilets, even toilet papers are so poor quality it is hard to roll them down.I complain about that today and the manager, lady with blonde hair with horrible altitude answers than I can use a fan for dry my hands and if my nose is runningshe suggested tissue from her personal items... The gym by itself is good, but I am giving this one star for poor treatment and unacceptable altitude, so I canceled my membership from August first, I found out, there are other gym at 15$ per month with the same conditions.Very disappointed. :(

Where do i start. I have been with NYSC since 2015 before they close 86th and lex. So when they close 86th and lex I start coming to 125th location and everyone was very nice and even changed my membership for me from 99 to 52 because I’ve been with them for long time and they had a promotion. I was very surprised for them to do that usually most gym never let you pay less when they can charge you more. Then I have 5 of my employees which I decided to sign up for some of them had a membership at blinks and they were happy when I decided to give them the gym membership as part of my company expense and thank me for it everyday till this day but now with the experience we had with the new manager Christine we decided to cancel all of our membership to go to different gym between August or September we will be leaving. We are working on getting a better gym under my company with different facility as we speak.Christine don’t be rude all 6 of us leaving just because of her. She is always in her cellphone and when you try to talk to her she have attitude and actually as a result someone record our conversation and was awful.Maybe we will get back once you get rid of Christine.

Don’t even do it. My membership last less than 30 days and already 3 payments have been taken out. To the point I have to report it to my credit card to block this gym from scamming me out of additional money. Let’s get into the basics:The locker room has roaches. Crawling all around the trash can. I tried so badly not to come for a Harlem business where I actually know so many people. Which is why I wanted to avoid posting a review despite my experience. Really tried to be nice and go without writing this but after my encounter with the heavy set Caucasian at the front desk trying to force me in telling her “why I ended my membership” saying “just go ahead and spit it out. You can be completely honest.” Secondly, Emily the “manager” on staff stated I would not be charged any cancellation fees when I canceled my membership on Wednesday 3/30/22. We’ll, well, and we’ll it’s so amazing how a fee for April is now pending on my AMEX CARD. Also the only consistent professional individual at this location is Tina and the male manager is often kind when I see him…This is one of those gyms you see mocked on other tv commercials with abrasive staff who workout daily and invade your space and privacy. They are simply overbearing and will stalk you on social media do way too much for extra attention. Yes any “gym rat” you are familiar with in the area will be in there doing the most for attention and like I said: I joined this gym membership on the 4th of March 2022 and as someone is consistent with fitness and has a large following on all my platforms regarding my fitness journey will assure you that this location is terrible and honestly the corporate office needs to step in. They will be my next level of contact regarding scamming for fees. I tried to not fall into the trap but the reviews on here are 100% accurate. Sorry but not sorry. Save yourself the hassle. And I have the invoice to confirm I didn’t owe anything as well as a screenshot my cancellation. And if you do fall into the trap understand any time you need to speak to someone regarding payments or canceling your membership they will say: “my manager isn’t here at the moment; my manger is on a call at the moment; my manager is going to give you call back.” They drag this line and just read the other reviews. It’s no way a business can open up for the day without supervision for its subordinates so that is total bs. Hopefully I save someone the hassle and headaches before you too are a victim of the 125th NYSC location.Please believe that THE ONLY people posting positive reviews on here either work there, train ppl there, or are trying to be courteous because it’s no way when the machines are out of date, rusty, majority of them even work. From broken out of date machines to men invading your space doing the most.

UPDATE:Nothing has change here ….this gym reflects how little this company care about their brown and black costumers . No towels, soap and Why do we have to beg for toilet paper all the time ? I stop coming to this place for some time . The issue … backfill water all over the locker . Dirty restrooms and not toilet paper or anything to clean after yourself (including soap or paper) . I came back and the issue remains the same . How can u keep a place full of men on a high protein and caffeine diet without providing them the basic things like toilet paper and soap…Update : if they ever put toilet paper . Chances are you will have to ask the next stall to pass it to you since it’s only one roll at the time .. also de check the pics . The toilet paper holders are broke … and that toilet paper in the floor is placed there by members so you don’t have to ask the guy next door while he is pushing

I like this over Planet Fitness. My Personal Trainer Tice gave me a fitness tryout before using my days with him. Im not gonna lie I did good up until they real weight lifting. Could you believe this looks easy watching Micheal B Jordan and athletes do it lol. I almost threw up. But he said most people do. We sat down went over my fitness plan and I left. I've been going strong for a week now making sure to take rest days as well. He gave me a set day I should see maximum results. Wish me well in 3months

I was a member at 106th and 3rd Avenue. When coronavirus hit and gyms were going to close I canceled my membership. A few weeks later that location completely shut down and moved out. I just found out that instead of cancelling they transferred my membership to 125th and I’ve been paying membership fees ever since! They did not get my consent and there’s no one to contact directly about this. I called this location and they palmed me off said they couldn’t help even though they’re taking my money! Ridiculous!

Half the cardio machines are old rundown and in need of replacement. Someone is going to to get hurt and a great lawsuit. They need to replace equipment and also pay attention to those folks that sit on machines and check text or email instead of finish their workout.

I am trying to determine what NYSC I should attend since I just joined with passport membership.Upon reading the reviews, I notice that every response is exactly the same - I'm sorry for your inconvenience, what can we do to help? I am having a bit of trouble finding your membership, so if you want anything changed, we won't do anything. The ball is in your court and YOU WILL HAVE TO CONTACT US!! Because honestly, WE DONT CARE! Good luck getting any sort of reaction from us.Do they realize that people actually do read these reviews??? What a joke.

Decent club but the equipment seems to be in need of repair.... Most lockers are broken or sealed shut, can't get access to studios to use to stretch, get some more classes going now that we are open in NYC! More cleaning stations. Never can find staff as no one wears a uniform.

Pros: the people are great.Cons: the gym is dated and in desperate need of repair. Machines are often broken. Equipment is usually missing. The air conditioning is spotty. The locker room is falling apart. It’s expensive considering the condition it’s in.
