Was relocated to the 125th Harlem location when the 115th location was shutdown without my consent. I called to cancel my membership and was told I had to come in person. When I showed up in person, they added me to a list and told me to expect a phone call. Yes, they made me get off the phone, come in person, just to tell me they’ll call me. That was in September. I never received a phone call and now in November they are still charging me a membership fee for a gym I never signed up for or worked out in! Now try calling them and you can’t get to anyone! Disappointed that this place is such a scam!

Sorry but that gym lacks ALOT in New equipment. Members don't wipe down after they use. Only 4 individual benches out of the whole gym and they all old and rusty. Members taking 10 sets on one machine. Bottom line , this location is HORRIBLE its members are HORRIBLE' Is a miracle they haven't report anything.

I called to inquire as to why my card was being charged even after both membership under my contract was to be terminated while we experienced a global lock down. The assistant manager was disgustingly rude and disrespectful cutting me off to talk over me the entire time after I gave her the respect and grounds to speak, she than hung up. When I called a second time she answered the phone and again talked over me and hung up once again. Under no condition should this disrespectful individual that was given the title of “assistance manager” Ginnelle Smith should conduct herself in that manner. She was extremely rude and highly unprofessional, than when you reciprocate the disrespect she victimizes herself. This behavior and CUSTOMER SERVICE is extremely distasteful and unacceptable. I will definitely be reaching out to corporate!

Good gym for the $$. Enforcement of social distancing as best they can with regular member required machine cleaning. Downsides 1) only 1 elevator has been working for a period far too long. 2) frequently runs out of towels...as of today, it's been 10 days without towels in the gym. 3) hard to find some handles for cable exercises and for some reason, no 40lb dumbbells.Would give 2 stars but front desk staff is pretty good so bumping it up for them.

Absolutely terrible service. I asked them to freeze my membership from November 2020 until October 2021. They said it's no problem and then they only froze it for 2 weeks in December and I got charged for the full month of December and January. I called multiple times but customer service at this location is very rude, incompetent, and unhelpful. The person on the phone just said there is nothing they can do and then hung up on me. I then called again a few days ago and was transferred to the new General Manager, Chris, who apologized for the mistake and said everything would be better now that the club is under new management. She promised me to wave my cancellation fee if I want to cancel completely, and I agreed. I then never received a confirmation from her. I've been trying to call her back for days without being transferred to her or receiving a call back. Be careful when you sign up for membership because they will trick you into charges you don't want and you will not be able to cancel. There are so many gyms in the city- do NOT go with NYSC, it's not worth the headache and the loss of money.

I've purchased membership for 3rd Ave location just before the lockdown last year.Never even had a chance to visit the gym.The location closed, however , they continued to charge me for the another location which is an hour away from my home.Today , a year after, I was charged $138 again. Apparently, they have this fine print in the contract, that allows them to go after you even if you change the card. Beware , they are going to steal from you and you can't do anything.

The new management of this gym is the worst. They will lure you in promising you that they'll waive all charges and allow free canceling. Alas, you start getting bogus charges in your card different from their promises. I canceled after noticing their dishonesty and the staff (a white girl) was quite rude to the point i almost thought i was not a customer. Stay away from this gym to avoid problems

They just reopened today (09/02/20). I usually go to 145th but due to still being closed I went to the 125th location. Property was extremely clean all around with plenty of paper towel as well as disinfectant in sight.You can tell that they are doing everything possible to welcome their members back the right and safe way.Staff cleaning around also.The two ladies that checked me in were super sweet and accommodating.Yes...you will have to wear a mask at all time and they will kindly remind you to put it back on if you do not wear it properly.Nothing bad to say..

Currently there is a maximum of 78 members allowed inside. Temperatures are checked; mask must be worn at all times. There are plenty of wipes and hand sanitizer throughout.Members are extremely responsible and respectful in following safety protocol including social distancing.

This is a moldy, with stained carpeting and hazardous place. Many of the machines don’t work and the staff is rude and unprofessional specially Dwayne and Maria.I couldn’t get a proper workout because of an sanitary smell reason why I stopped going there. I recently found out that they have been charging my CC without my knowledge for the past 3 years without ever reaching out to me and ask my consent to renew. I have not set foot there for the last three years and that did not stop them from continuing to charge my card. I guess I have not been the only one who has been fleeced by this gang of thieves. I am not going to stop until they reimburse me all three years of stolen moneys.
