Although it is only one floor, it is an excellent clean gym. So clean, I could have eaten off the floor. I love getting on the bikesand minding my own business. This is arguably the cleanest newyorksportsclub I have ever been in in my life. I recommend it highly.

The gym is just ok, but I did like Henry the spin instructor.I have been a part of several gyms, and this is the worst administrative experience that I have never had!! The real issue is that the sports club will charge you multiple fees when you cancel, even after you fulfill your obligation. Even though the contract says you should notify them 45 days in advance of your cancellation, they will not allow you to give “notice” that you will not renew at the end of your obligation/contract. They only allow your 45 day notice AFTER your obligation is up, in order for them to charge you an extra two months thereafter. Dwayne Hunter is the general manager - he can’t answer questions about policies that are not in your contract/make no sense, will argue with you, and is not helpful at all. Not professional experience. I would suggest going to a more reputable gym, where canceling your membership after your obligation is fulfilled, isn’t a process that takes advantage of you. I work for a global company where we are allotted wellness incentives and I share this experience, with my colleagues, as much as possible. So go see Henry somewhere else he instructs- and forego this gym.

The customer service in this gym is terrible and the classes same. I attended classes of Zumba where the only one that at the end was sweating was the instructor, this gym has instructors that think the class is for them and they have no preparation or vocation at all to teach or train other people. Very poor customer service, for 5 months I tried so hard to cancel this membership. 5 months I didn't attented to the gym because I was actually living in another city and these guys gave me a hard time and made me pay for 5 months without getting any service.

I hesitated about joining this gym due to the negative reviews. Nevertheless, I went there and asked for a "tour" to check with my own eyes how were things. The staff were nice, the facility was clean and the equipment was ok.I've been a member for two months now and I don't regret the decision. The staff is kind and professional (some of them are bilingual, which is a plus); The environment is diverse and respectful; The facility IS clean.I recommend it.

I go as its convient to get to work. 3 x in last month ive worked out and couldn't shower as there was no towel 730 am. 3 days ago I went to detox and the sauna was broken Not the 1st time. These are recurring situations at multiple locations. I have talked to management and filled reports with corporate office. To no avail...no feedback or follow up. Unfortunately I'm locked into my membership for another 8 months. Forced to stay

I've been a member for 3 weeks it seemed like a nice cool place to work out but now I'm starting to notice a few things such as the cleanliness. I also don't like the fact that I don't have a variety of equipment to choose from. Today i was picked for a free session and the person was nice and did give me a free session. But not before showing me the price plans and I believe one option, is a few sessions that cost about $600 which I think is outrageous. when I first signed up I was told I would get a confirmation email I never received the email so I don't have any idea what i will be charged to my account so at this point I'm just looking to cancel my membership immediately!!-- I hope they don't give me a problem to do so I've only been there 3 times I also feel like there's cameras in the woman's bathroom. I read another comment where someone had got their things stolen.out of tbe lockers. when he called they said they would look at the cameras but how would they know who stole the stuff if the cameras were not in the bathroom because the locker Zone is onlny located in the bathroom..im about dond

I am not pleased with this gym like i use to be, for starters I’ve been a member for about 3 years now and the membership policies are inconsistent. I was paying an affordable 20$ a month for about a year and without notice they changed my membership to 30$ a month, their excuse was that i have the option to go to any New York sports club in the city... for one that didn’t matter because I only go to ONE location anyway and again without notice yesterday my membership went up 40$ without notice this time there is no reason?!! What’s next 50? I’m leaving this gym. Don’t even bother, very inconsistent.

This gym is not terrible, but not good either. The showers and locker area are usually kept, but the machines look like they need a serious cleaning. I got a ringworm infection on my finders from poorly sanitized workout equipment. Don't forget to bring sanitizer if you're looking workout in here. Other than that, the special month-to-month deal is not bad

Terrible equipment maintenance. Things are constantly falling apart at this gym. 30lb dumbells are nowhere to be found for days on end. Carabiners are also a hot commodity. The front desk as well as the custodial staff is great. Everyone else, especially the management think too highly of themselves. Instead of standing around all day chatting, why don’t you fix the lockers or clean the showers? Don’t count on anything when you come here. I have come to workout before meetings only to find that they don’t have towels for the day? How are you out of towels already at 730 AM on a weekday? I pay for towels so they should be provided. Years ago this was an amazing gym. Not so much anymore. I would personally suggest looking at the many new gyms in the area. I will be switching in the next few weeks as well, unless something changes.
