The associates were friendly, courteous and helpful. I noticed immediately how they treated me and all guests with respect and an eagerness to make our workout a pleasant and satisfactory experience.

I recommend the gym to all the friends I contact because of its good equipment, cleanliness, quite environment. Also the employees and trainers are very friendly and professional, as well as the maintenance and cleaning employees who are always willing to assist and help the members who go there.I would like to especially highlight the welcomer on weekdays, Julissa who is very nice and friendly, as well as Emma, who takes great care to keep the area clean.

Great gym, loved it when it was closer to my apartment. People go there to actually workout and not vain gays just looking for fun in the showers, real gym, real workouts 🏋️‍♀️ …

I originally signed up at E91st and 3rd Avenue with the intention of using the pool to cool down during the very hot summer months. Unfortunately, since then, I am unable to use the pool due to closing of the pool possibly due to COVID-19. I am very pleased with this branch of NYSC as signing-up at this branch granted me Elite Membership access to the Elite NYSC branches which I have only as of recent, visited. I would like this branch to offer both Sauna and Steam Room as I use the Sauna to dry my clay mask and the Steam Room to steam my lather before I shave.

Impossible to cancel the membership. I called & asked to cancel in March & still got charged for April. So I went in to cancel citing the experience I had over the phone & the person at the front desk assured me that he will get it done by the manager the next day. I had to call at 4pm the next day when I still hadn't gotten an email and finally got the cancellation confirmation. TBD on if I'll get charged in June as other reviews say cancelation email hasn't been a guarantee.

I have been a member of this gym for only 1 month now. I was previously a member of another local gym where I really disliked my experience. The staff members here are so professional and kind. The gym is MUCH nicer (and less expensive) than my previous local gym. I do agree the weight room is on the smaller side can get very packed, especially at peak hours but hey look where we live…. Welcome to NYC lol

This is the worse gym I've ever been to! Transfered my membership from 76th st location , lady at the front desk told me you are good you don't have to do anything. A month later I saw two charges , one from e76 and one from this. I spoke to front desk they said you didn't transfer it , they would do it for me and give me credit but credit would apply to next month , next month same scenario, charged me twice , spoke to front desk againWanted to cancel my membership but she promised she would give me a whole month free , guess what ? Nothing they charged me full amount. Spoke to them again asked them to cancel , this guy at the front desk was like I don't know how to cancel , I'll take a note and will let the manager know. This is ridiculous

I was formerly a member of the 106th st location prior to the pandemic, which closed down permanently. I naturally went to the next nearest location which is 91st st and 3rd Ave once the gym reopened after NYS uplifted the ban, in September 2020. I was informed that my membership was moved to a further gym location, 125th st, due to this being an elite location. I understood giving the location and likely higher taxes, and with that there is an incredible difference in pricing. Since I was a given 1 year of elite service, I figured that I would cross the bridge of getting my location changed once it ended in September 2021.Just 3 or 4 weeks after, the 125th st location canceled my account without: 1) notifying me 2); me having ever stepped foot in the facility and 3); without my consent. I discovered this after visiting the 91st st location and my badge not scanning. I spoke with the manager, whom I would say was extremely helpful. He signed me up for an elite membership with same price point due to the inconvenience. For that, I am extremely grateful. I now explore other locations near my gf, though this is my primary location.I cannot atest to any of the previous comments on the gyms former condition, but it has all newly updated equipment; a wide variety of equipment and multiple of each at that. The gym is fairly clean and the staff are constantly making an effort to keep the environment clean and safe. Staff always greet me at the entrance and have a smile on their faces. The gym can be a tab bit crowded due to some new members from the closures of nearby locations, but you can still get a decent workout. The only downside I find is that more equipment has become broken and free weights are often missing or displaced. That's likely due to customers with poor gym etiquette and frequently usage. The gym could us an extra inclined bench and more roam rollers but other than that, it is a good gym.

Total dissatisfaction and disappointment with their customer service.I cancelled my membership with front desk and made sure two times it’s paid only untilEnd of august, which was confirmed. Never been charged for September which meansI am cancelled then out of the blue got charged in October without saying a word to me that . The manager is absolutely not adequate. Do not even get involved with this place their customer service is horrible.Especially the manager Ricardo Pita who is not even responding on my emails anymore. Such a poor customer service. And I found my email showing that I triple asked to cancel my membership. Still they won’t respond. There are other gyms in the area that are much easier and have better customer service so I recommend not even wasting your nerves dealing with this one.

The Good:- This gym provides a decent service at a good price- Many of the instructors for the group classes are great, especially for the spin classes- There are also plenty of machines and weights- I really like the layout and the locker rooms are spacious- Finally, the staff has been wonderful overallThe Bad:- There could be more classes, especially during busy times- A fair number of machines are usually not working- Big problems feel neglected: the air conditioning has not been working throughout the entire summer and now the cycling room (and all classes in that room) are canceled. When will classes resume? Could be a few days or could be a while. No one appears to know.- Repairs tend to be bandaged over instead of being fixedThis appears to be poor management. I cannot tell if the owner of this gym is struggling financially, cheap, or not aware of the state of the gym. Whatever it is, it's very disruptive. In many cases, a little extra effort would go a long way in improving the experience at this gym. Until then, I would only recommend this gym if you are looking for something basic that will do the job. If you want something great, look elsewhere.P.S. Once the A/C is fixed throughout the entire gym, I will upgrade to 4 stars.
