Yesterday was my first time to the gym in 24 years. We were greeted with very friendly and welcoming faces. (No judgment toward us at all) It was quite a different feeling from back in the day.All of the equipment was a little intimidating, but I asked one of the attendants to show me some of the machines for areas I wanted to work on, and he happily obliged. He showed me how to work each piece of equipment and put me a lot more at ease. I left an hour later feeling the best I’ve felt in years. Thank you for creating a space where everyone can feel welcome.

I have been going to this gym for a little while now and I love it. I have never felt uncomfortable going by my self. The staff is always welcoming and available for questions. The equipment is well taken care of and seldom down. Though they did just remodel and it is extremely nice!

They are doing great with the renovations, although I was sad for them to be closed for more, I also understand. If you are a black card holder you will definitely see the perks as soon as you walk in and hang a left. The changing room has been updated as well. Very nice. The walls look fabulous ....can't wait to see the rest of the Reno. They also have been taking out older machines and updating them which is also great. For an older shopping center in which this is located, they are doing a great job of keeping it updated with the competition in the area. My budget and I thank you 😘

I always go between 1am and 3am (I work nights and this is the best time to go, even on my off days). The gym is always clean and the crew is consistent and always welcomed me with a smile. Every time I walk into the locker room it smells good and it is either being cleaned or it obviously has been cleaned recently. Very happy I chose Planet Fitness.

My favorite place to come and work out. The staff is the greatest! I am always overwhelmingly welcomed everytime I walk in and always happy to see them. People are always good about wiping down machines once they're finished and there is always plenty of different machines to use or try. Other gyms I've tried in the past either never had enough equipment or didn't have specific machines to work certain parts of the body. Never dissatisfied at Planet Fitness. And the Newport news location has the BEST front desk crew!!!

This my first time here. The customer service at this location is really great. They took the time to give me and my wife a tour around the gym and answer our questions. I would definitely recommend getting the PF Black membership if you travel a lot or if you plan on bringing a friend to workout with you. The PF Black membership comes with more benefits and gym access, which I'm sure you will appreciate. I definitely recommend this gym for anyone who's interested in starting to go to the gym.

I lost my bag today in the locker room.once I let manager know about that she didn’t do anything as a human-being to help me at all instead that she cuss one out saying there’s nothing we can do.not even trying to check cameras at all even I’m asking her to check cameras. After looking for hours I found my bag in parking lot by myself.then I went to manger I told her that you are not helpful and rude she tried to kick me out from gym and cancel my membership.very rude and upper management should kick out this kind of lazy management out from these or give them proper training how to handle situations like that and not to say “hey that’s your problem and you better find solution your own “ .very frustrated. Don’t leave your bags in lockers at all.

I have a black card membership, it's really nice to bring a friend unlimited visits. You also get half off drinks which are 2 dollars for water or Gatorade so it's a deal. You get unlimited uses on the massage chairs and bed so that helps. The staff is friendly and so are the people that come.

Love it! We go here and it's our first gym membership, so not much expected, but it's a good place! Clean facility, lots of machines, it's kind of a barebones gym where they don't really care to put in a bunch of decorative fancy stuff, which cuts down the costs I guess. But be warned .....If you get the expensive membership GUESTS CANT USE THE MASSAGE, TANNER, OR RED LIGHT

By far best Planet Fitness I’ve worked out in...😄😄😄 just kiddin this place is my home ! I’ve lost 60 Total pounds in a year and I credit this one specific facility because it’s been my peace. Completely clean, very spacious and by far the best staff you could put together for the cause. Continue to set the standard and I’m sure this place will wind up being the face overall for PF 💪🏾 Let’s go !
