They set you in a trap, just to rip your pocket. They have to be given 45 days of advance before you cancel your membership. Cancelling can only be done by in person visit to facility. They were closed due to covid 45 days before I wanted to cancel. Therefore, they charged me 45 days of membership fee and $10 cancelling fee. Its funny that they want to jeopardize the health of their employees by asking people to come to their branch and cancel the membership.

I would give it 0 star if possible. The most unprofessional staff and company try to rip people off. I tried cancelling my membership but they charged me for the entire month and a cancellation fee. On top of that cancellation can only be done in person. in pandemic. It is not worth the macines and the space is very small anyway. Don't put your money in this gym at all.

Super rude and inconsiderate customer service. My personal trainer left 2 months into my 3 month contract. I didn’t get a new personal trainer and was still charged! When I asked for a refund got sent around to a bunch of different reps and levels of managers. Until eventually people stopped replying and I gave up.Thought it was super rude that they would not refund for services that were never rendered.

I can't believe i wrote a positive revew last year...but after switching to GymIt which is right around the corner, there's just no comparison. GymIt is cheaper, doesn't drastically raise rates just because you've been there a year, has so much more space, and newer equipment. BSC is fine in normal circumstances but they handled the pandemic horrendously. They continued to charge everyone throughout and you have to go in person to cancel. The fact that the state attorney general had to intervene is just silly.

The staff are fantastic but I haven't worked with a personal trainer here yet. The machines are in good shape and this gym has a great set up. It does get busy but that shows just how many people like this gym.What would push me to giving 5 stars would be a cleaner locker room. Lockers are broken and seem to remain that way. The bathroom floor is gross and there are no floor mats like there are at other bSC locations. Also, it looks like the shower curtains NEVER get washed. I've been coming here for 3 years and never seen a clean shower curtain.

In an email sent confirming my desire to cancel my membership they stated, “we’ll make that as simple as possible for you”. However they then proceeded to not cancel my membership and require me to submit more emails. Being anything but simple! They then charged me for another month of membership. They then require you to cancel in person or by mail, if you can cancel by email during the pandemic why can’t you cancel by email now???? Even if your gyms open the pandemic is still going on. And I bet I’ll get the same generic response BSC has been posting to these comments, if any..

If you’re considering joining this gym you should really read the Yelp reviews and sort them by most recent. The staff at this location was very unprofessional. I was interested in checking out this gym tonight so I tried to call in and stayed on the line for almost 5 minutes while the phone rang until someone picked it up and immediately hung up. When I tried calling back someone picked up the phone and hung up again immediately without saying hello. Called back again and same thing, two rings then pick up and hung up without saying anything. I thought I may have had the wrong number but on the 4th time I finally got someone on the phone, asked them about a day pass so I can check out the facility and they mentioned I could just come in. Once I got there I explained I wasn’t a member and the girl said “Just go” and pointed me away which is fine with me but I’m pretty sure corporate wouldn’t appreciate not signing any type of waiver form or giving any information. The facility is actually nice which is why I almost shrugged off the whole situation but then it came to closing time. 5 minutes ahead of close the girl walked around and was very rude in telling people it was time to leave. Not so much what she said but the way she said it. Then when I was leaving I’m pretty sure I heard the same girl talking poorly about some of the customers that were still in the locker room. I get that’s it’s probably been a long day but make sure other people aren’t around when you say things about the customer. Anyway, not a good experience and I will not be joining Boston Sports Clubs.

Small and crowded. Old equipment. The wood floor on the basket ball courtis so old that it is start to peel up and they put a wet floor sign over it so you don't trip lol.

Basically, all equipment are in good condition. But, basketball field is small and incomplete and locker room smells weird.
