The best gym I've ever seen! The anti LTers are just weaklings who don't know how to negotiate or get the best out of anything. In other words total losers who can't stand that anything be amazing, perfect, inexpensive. Let people do their job and don't judge sales people. Ever been to Mexico? There they are selling everything desperately on the streets. It's nice to see real sales staff. I wasn't high pressure cooked at all. I bought cuz I wanted to.

I had no problem cancelling my husband. I'm a member and I've belonged to many and worked at gyms. I've had no issues with the sales guys and the gym is clean and has tons of options. Great place and really family friendly.

I was contemplating on joining LT but after reading all this complaints, poor customer service, staff, etc, etc, I decided not to pursue LT further. I set 2 stars because does how I feel about LT now. Thanks to do those who shared their experiences, saves me the frustration and troubles. For those who gave great reviews, I think you're the exceptions, and I hope you'll always be treated at the highest professional level; after all, you paid for it and deserve as much.

This is the worst place ever, especially for a woman... its all high pressure to buy more spend more etc....if you pay for private training all you get is an hour of high pressure sales tactics... pay money to get pressure more to buy more... they are very disrespectful to women... they make it impossible to cancel but when you sign up they say how easy it is to cancel. LIE. the general manager is a complete moron with no customer service skills. If they paid me to go there, I would rather stay home or pay a gym that doesnt pressure and disrespect women..... PLEASE DONT SIGN UP IF YOU ARE FEMALE ITS A HUGE MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted to give 0 stars but google requires one. ITS A ZERO

I was a long time family member that needed to cancel my $170 plus monthly fee. Cancelled on November 4th with a letter to the local facility that I went to...somehow, they "lost" the letter. Of course, it was MY fault because I was too stupid to send it certified, but they never bothered to tell me that when I called to cancel on the 3rd of November. So...they took out a payment the first of November, the first of December and I was told this morning that they will likely take a payment out of the first of January, but she threw me a bone and said they would "credit"back the January payment...HA...what a scam. This is a classic way to get an extra couple of months in fees with no wear and tear on the facility. Just beware, this place isn't worth the aggravation...

I have never received such poor customer service from any business. Also, I have never worked with such an incompetent staff when trying to cancel my membership due to the fact that I was moving. I was treated with disrespect over the phone and in person. It took a personal visit and multiple phone calls to not only cancel my membership, but also to correct an overcharge due to an error on their part.

I have been with lifetime for years, but when I tried canceling my membership they wanted to put me on a 10.00 a month plan to in. They said you will not be charged for the next month if I did but they would if didn't. So I went ahead and did it that way and guess what?? THEY CHARGED ME for the NEXT MONTH anyway not only was there a next month charge but it was more than what I paid for from my actual membership. When I tried to call them about it they said they would look in to it and call me back, well after numerous phone calls and two or three messages. I called my credit card company and had them reissue me a new one and take the bogess charge's off. I sent them an email to cancel. and when the saw they could not charge my card anymore the finally called. So now I have to send them a written letter because they can't take it email. They do not have good communication and the summer camps are no good either. basically stay in the gym all day with only one hour of swimming the WHOLE DAY. and an field trip on Friday the only fun day they have.

Terrible terrible terrible!!! Absolutely hated going to this place. The gym facilities are amazing, don't get me wrong, but the people there are so horrible and ultimately that's why I cancelled my membership. My sales guy lied numerous times, about all sorts. Once I had signed he completely ignored my calls and whenever I saw him he would dodge me. AVOID SEBASTIAN. He was the worst. Full of lies, over-charged. Just plain nasty. Everytime I walked in that place I felt awful. You have to walk past the sales guys everyday and they are like wolves. I overheard them making fun of one woman behind her back, saying how they should revoke her membership because she didn't have the right image. Just awful awful people.

Always professional, friendly, courteous staff in all departments. Clean and "above board ". There are suggestion / complaint forms which staff management take seriously. If you don't find the right fit with one person answering your questions, go to another staff member. As for any facility, if I wanted to cancel my membership or freeze it, the company required me to handle the transaction in person. You read the fine print this way, and know the correct departure received your "letter ".

Lifetime Fitness has great facilities. I enjoyed my time there as a member. However, I canceled my membership because I no longer live anywhere near the place. After multiple requests for them to remove my information from the system, the Lifetime on Clarkson continues to call and email me often with membership offers. The last time as soon as I reminded the caller that I had already asked for my information to be removed from the system and for them to please stop calling, the solicitor hung up on me. Very rude behavior and bad business practice.
