Look folks, I have been a member of several gyms, and this place is big, bright and shiny. Free child care while you work out, and entire cavern of rock walls, gym, stellar pool indoor and out. You get the quality you pay for. There are no contracts and everything is month to month. When you cancel, it takes place on the next billing cycle, like most businesses. So here is the straight talk: They have fantastic equipment and variety, a wall of TV's to watch, and very attentive personal trainers. The café is amazing, and the staff is extremely courteous and friendly. If you want a low budget facility with easy 24 hour access and no other amenities, this is not your gym. If you don't mind paying more for quality and ALL the trimmings, this place rocks.

Went to workout there and they had TWO anti-gun signs on the door! Is there a gun problem in Ellisville? people having shootouts in the gym? Kind of weird...like right in my face! Do they really need any signs saying no guns? Do they think criminals will read them?

Facility is ok, but crowded. Some machines broken, but most serviceable.Easy to join, difficult to quit. If you terminate your membership, be sure to keep the paper copies of what they give you. They may continue to bill you (did me). And they hinted that it would be a shame if my credit was ruined for a few months billing.

This gym is terrific and very inexpensive for what you get. This is a good example of 'you get what you pay for'. The people are great, the locker rooms and facilities are great, and equipment wise, there is nothing in this area to compare with it. There are so many things to do and classes to take, it's almost impossible to do it all. I have been a member for five months and I give this a big thumbs up.

I love this gym. I have been a member since February and my kid loves swimming on almost a daily basis. He got free swimming lessons for six months (from lifetime bucks) and we take full advantage of the outdoor pool as well. We are very happy and consider the price to be very reasonable. Oh, and I think the employees are very helpful and friendly. Not sure why the reviews are so terrible. My son's teacher for swimming lessons is fantastic also.

I'm surprised at the number of bad reviews. I love this gym! The employees I have met are friendly and helpful. I am not normally there at the most crowded times, but I have always found the bathrooms and women's locker room very clean, and I see people cleaning throughout the gym. The variety of machines and activities available is pretty amazing. This gym is expensive but the facility and the personal training I've received has been very helpful. I think it's well worth the money!

The place is totally dead! And, with good reason. First, it's far too expensive, given that you really don't get much more than at a much cheaper gym. Second, the place seems like a morgue - the employees and other people at the gym walk around with frowns on their faces like they are zombies, and there is a really bad (low) energy there. I will from now on go somewhere else (like Xist Fitness)!

Pros - Nice facility, basketball courts, rock climbing, pool. And that is where the list ends.Cons - Poor management, high turnover pushy/shady employees/trainers, expensive at $69 a month and they continuously increase your fees, overcrowded. If you bring a guest they are required to go to a meeting and submit all their information. Then they will continue to be harassed to join for at least the next month. Many friends have also struggles with joining fees charges that were promised to be waived and additional billings up to three months after they had already quit.FYI, to quit they won't accept your request over the phone or by mail (because it is in the fine print in the contract you sign). You must send certified mail or go see them in person. And they will bill you for an extra month (in fine print).

Maybe Life Time Fitness is a nice getaway if you can afford the high costs. But as soon as you can no longer afford it, WATCH OUT for the obnoxious staff's comments. What kind of human beings say to their customers upon cancellation: "GOOD LUCK AT CLUB CHUB"?There is never an excuse to speak to people like that. Get some manners, Life Time Fitness. And some new management.

I love this gym. I'm not sure why people have any problems with it at all. I see employees cleaning and walking the floor everyday. People willing to help you out if you can't find something or dont know how to use something correctly. If you cant seem to lose weight, they have programs that are designed around you, most gyms say this, but they dont come with any of the offered Lab test and educated people to assist you in understanding what it means (example, if you drop in energy in the middle of the day, or you go on every diet possible and you just cant seem to go down in the waist area.) that life time does. I really appreciate this gym. It's a nice place to call a second home.
