24 Hour Fitness

Love this gym been coming here for years. The equipment does what it needs to do, the staff is very friendly. I specially like the way the Manager Mark treats all the members. Will continue to do business here for a long time to come.

Pretty busy most of the time. Squat racks are usually always taken. Most machines and equipment are well kept. However management needs further training on customer service. I tried to purchase a water bottle labled propel as the add on the window claimed it was 2 bucks, which is still alot for water but I had forgotten mine that day. Rang up as 3.50 and was asked if I "still" wanted it after pointing it out. Spoke with three associates and all rejected any notion of honoring the price as this is a "membership club, not a retailer". Very dissatisfied with 24 hour customer service. It took 10 minutes just to get someone to help in the first place. Learned my lesson.Tip; dont forget your water, and dont expect any customer service from this particular gym.

This place has gone down hill in the past 6 months. They no longer have towels available. The machines are old and wobbly. Showers are dirty. Lockers are peeling and bubbling. I remember when it was new and had so much promise of being a premium gym. I predict it will be a indoor swap meet soon if things don't change.

UPDATE: downgraded to 1 star as this is the dirtiest gym I've ever been to, everything is disgusting and filthy. Obvious they don't even wipe down anything.Actually one of the better 24 Hour Fitness gyms as far as space and equipment, but it's extremely dirty. The bathroom / shower areas are gross ...some shower areas clearly have mold. Worst is they took away total service and are claiming it's for the environment (even though they showed no concern a few years ago when SoCal was having a serious drought). There's always some ridiculous spin on when they take away one of the member benefits.

I used to frequent this gym 5+ years ago. A lot has changed. Pros: bumper plates with plenty of racks. Nice equipment. The staff interacted with were kind/reasonable. Cons: removal of towel service. Members literally do not re-rack anything, be it dumbbells or weights. You'll see weights and dumbbells everywhere except where they're supposed to go. Also, good luck finding any weights 10 pounds and under. The weight floor was also pretty dirty, can't say I've ever seen old dried gum all over a gym floor before. Lastly, I couldn't seem to find a time that the gym wasn't crowded. Some of these issues are due to the lack of common courtesy of members.
