If you really want to boost your customer service morale, get rid of VANESSA "the so-called trainer". Her customer service is terrible, she answers your questions as if you have aggravated her. She has cancelled on me twice without any fair warning, ALTHOUGH she asked me for my personal number to text and communicate with me. I get it, you are not a personal trainer for each and every individual, BUT at least have the common courtesy to sit a talk with YOUR CLIENTS about their goals. She brushed me off after I made an appointment to specifically have a walk-thru tour and to plan a weight loss program that PLANET FITNESS has on their website. I arrived and waited 30 mins for her to even acknowledge me and my spouse, then when she finally made it the seating area, she told me to write my number down so that she can communicate with me via text about my potential goals. 3 minutes later she came back to the table and told me that I could go home and she would be in touch; so no tour, no consultation, no nothing....... she just walked away, smelling like a box of marlboro cigarettes. SMH..... ive been waiting for a text from ANYONE there for almost 3 months now.

I have no idea what these people are talking about in these 1 star recent posts smh... Eric is the manager and is a super nice guy and helps out as much as possible! He's actually the best worker there! Follows the rules and gives thorough information as much as possible to everyone. As a matter of fact EVERYBODY there is BRILLANT! I COULDN'T HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER GYM TO WORKOUT AT!

I recently signed up for Planet Fitness online. I was disappointed when I first went in because the employee at the desk said he could not give me a tour because he was the only one there. I went there around noon and there were other employees there so I'm not sure why he or any other employee couldn't give me a tour. I guess it was because he was too busy texting on his cell phone to ask someone else. Since I was new, I had some basic questions and I felt like I was interrupting him. I guess his cell phone is more important than customer service. I patiently waited while he was finished texting before he would finally answer my questions. The whole time I was thinking I should have signed up with another gym. I'm now locked in for the next 12 months!

Overall a decent gym for the price. The voice system doesn't work in the total body like it does In Friendswood or Pearland. The equipment could also use a hood cleaning as a lot of them have thick dust. Staff is friendly.

Love this gym. It is very clean and well kept. Top notch workout machines that are ergonomically designed, cardio equipment such as Ellipticals, Treadmills that are flexible making less hard impact on joints. Kettle Bells, weights, free weights. Everything you could possibly need in a gym. The Cherry on Top...is the Massage area with Warm Hydrotherapy Massage Beds!!!! Pure relaxation after an invigorating work out! Highly recommended for phenomenal Prices, Quality Equipment, and Friendly, helpful employees!! I've been a member going on 2 years now.

I am so done with this nasty place. I joined for the tanning beds and the red light therapy. The bulbs are always out. I tell them and nothing happens. The last two times I went the tanning beds were not cleaned after someone just got out. I didn’t notice until I was undressed and was getting in the tanning bed. This is Unsanitized and unacceptable. I told them when I got out and all they said was sorry. Well sorry don’t fix the problem. I will let everyone know how this place is. Not going back.

Today afternoon at 8 pm, my friend and I decided to go to planet fitness for a relaxing exercise. We checked in normally and nothing happened. It was pretty busy day and there were a lot of people around. In the middle of working out, the planet fitness Abdul came up to us and started making a scene yelling “you guys have to pay” over and over again. Everyone looked at us and we were extremely embarrassed. When we were about to ask why he very rudely shushed us and he was extremely condescending and made us feel stupid. Pretty much everyone in the gym stared at us. Now, we don’t even know if we can go to the same location because of the embarrassment. We are even thinking about canceling our membership and switching to LA Fitness. This experience was extremely embarrassing for us and we have never experienced customer service like this from any other corporation. We have told our friends who go to this location and have left a bad review on google and yelp. The only reason there might have been notes on our account is because we were too tired to scan our cards once and the employee brought us back and scanned it for us. However, if you look at our accounts, it is evident that’s we are fully paid members. And we don’t expect this kind of service from a company that we pay our hard earned dollars to go to.Thank You and I hope you resolve this issue.Update: Upgraded to three stars since the management assisted me with my problem. If nothing else happens for the next year, I will upgrade to five. Overall, pretty fun gym work out in but staff can make mistakes.

Expensive and small gym! They try to take money from anyway they can. If you do miss a payment they have a secondary card on file and don't bother to take money from it until they charge a $15 late fee. Also they automatically renew your contract without email or call or anything and if you want to cancel you must do it within a short amount of time or else you get charged $58 cancellation fee. If I can give them negative 5 stars I would. Never sign up for this gym memberships.

I love the atmosphere of planet fitness especially the perks of being a black card member. Deducting stars due to the amount of cancelled classes with no notification. I’ll show up for class just to be told it’s cancelled, with a basic sorry. No way to get an email, text or call apparently. Also, the timing for the classes is very strict. If you are 2 minutes late, and the only one (just my brother and I) signed up for the class, it will be cancelled, as happened to me today.The trainer didn’t even bother to tell me the class was cancelled because we were literally 2 minutes late, but had someone from the front desk tell us. The class started at 4:30. We arrived at 4:32 ready to go.The front desk employee told me they HAVE to cancel as there are recording videos showing we are late, even if it’s 2 minutes.But no word on the lack of reciprocal etiquette for the trainer- has been 5-10 minutes late for class to start- this leaving me and my group ALONE to finish class as she had to leave early for her other class to start on time; as well as cancelled classes with no notice.Trainer’s name is Vanessa.Would be a 5 star review if the classes and training were consistent.

I just became a black card member and I love all the benefits that I get for only $22 a month! The only reason I rated it 4 stars is because they do have a couple of weird rules and don’t have a normal squat machine; only assisted. With the black card, you can also tan and both times I’ve tried tanning, they forget to turn on the bed so I end up sitting back there for 30 minutes, even when they aren’t busy. The staff is really nice & the gym stays very clean!
