It's always clean and they have plenty of equipment. As far as the contract goes they were very up front and told me before I signed that if I cancelled I would have to pay out the rest of my contract. I miss the full basketball court I don't know why they cut it in half but overall it's been a good experience.

I definitely like this gym! I used to go to the one on 75th Ave. and the 101 but started going here and I'm glad I did. Even though there's lots of people here, it never feels crowded... Except for the child care, if there's a lot of kids you can definitely tell it gets chaotic.

I love the classes HIIT, Tabada, and spin!! The cardio machines are in good shape and love the TV on each one making it better for passing the time. The weight machines and weight set up is nice too. Over all I think it is a great gym!! O and my favorite part is to treat myself to a blueberry pomegranate protein shake with almond milk at the end of my workout :)

Clean, spacious friendly staff and great equipment. Been to many gyms over the years, Mountainside by far would be the most diverse gym in reference to having plenty of cardio and freeweight equipment ratio.Good blend for his and her work out.

I love this place this is absolutely the best full service Jim that is available in town. It has a steam room sauna and tanning booth all in the locker room. As well as massage offering Physical Therapy Chiropractic everything and all for a reasonable price you can get a family of 5 in there for $100 a month which is amazing. They keep all their machines up-to-date every year they upgrade and service everything regularly. The staff is helpful and friendly and very clean

Good gym with a lot of equipment and plenty of space for all my needs. The only thing I wish they have, especially for the price, is a pool. They do have a rock wall and a basketball court inside, as well as a spinning room, lockers with showers, dry and steam saunas, separate areas for cardio and weights, and a standalone physical therapy place inside this location. They also provide towels, small ones for working out and large ones for showering. The showers have soap inside the stalls which is really nice. The steam sauna is overwhelmingly hot which is perfect for me. Staff keep to themselves. They do not have their hours posted on the front door and I keep going really close to closing time and end up getting turned away at the door.

I just moved from California to Arizona and I am very happy that I found this gym so close to home. Don't listen to the negative reviews because they seem to be BS. I have been through several gyms for 15 years and by far this was the best experience I have had. Excellent customer service (Troy who signed me up) and everything is so clean and new! I hope this helps people who are looking for a great gym for a great price.

On January 17, 2014 my daughter and I joined Mountainside Fitness, Peoria AZ location.Being 80 years old with a body that has been totally out of 'alignment' after major reconstructive shoulder surgery in 2012 I needed much help and a personal trainer.I am immensely fortunate that Brian Lawson of 'Core Concepts' took me on. Already, after two months of twice a week half hour intensive training, my spirits are up, my body is getting stronger and more flexible, I am sleeping more soundly, hurting much less over all.Brian challenges me within the limits of my abilities, he knows human anatomy, Brian is thoughtful, knowledgeable, professional, funny and very supportive. When entering MSF one always is greeted with welcoming smiles and a warm salutation. The facility is impeccably clean and provides a wide variety of first-rate equipment.Indeed, joining MSF in Peoria and having found Brian Lawson are lightening up my life!

I have been a member of Mountainside Fitness since 2010. At the time I weighed 186 pounds and my athletic activities consisted of eating chicken parm sandwiches. Now I am 152 at 8.4% body fat. I owe it mostly to one of my best friends and mountainside for making this happen. The staff is very friendly. They maintain the facility very clean I sometimes spend hours just hanging out in the theatre room. I recommend this gym to anyone that is looking to get in shape and not have to worry about the place being to overly crowded.

This gym has a lot of problems! First of all, always have to wait in line for entry and smoothy bar as never anyone around to help. Secondly, the dressing room is always dirty, actually found the same piece of gum in a locker for four days! Thirdly, there is always broken equipment. If I was the owner I would definitely hire new management and competent staff. I'm going back to lifetime fitness, thanks for all your problems!
