I've been going to this gym now for just over a month, and I love it. It's a very large gym, with a small indoor track upstairs. I love the amount of cardio equipment. The staff are super friendly here... the locker room could use an update... in fact I'd highly suggest an update. With that said, I'd like to give the staff a suggestion. You have 2 squat racks and 3 smith machines... get rid of 2 Smith Machines and add 2 more squat racks. There are simply too many people at this gym who come and just camp out at a machine or some equipment for far too long. 1 guy, just yesterday, was at one of the squat racks, sitting more than working out, for longer than 40 minutes. There needs to be some supervision by the staff to make sure that the equipment is not being camped at. The squat racks need to have a time limit of 15 minutes, until you all get more squat racks.

I have been working out here now for over 20 years and hopefully 20 more! because of the beautiful wide indoor track and the spaciousness of the facility in general. Of course staff people have always been kind and helpful and the equipment is great and locker rooms generally clean but for me, a former runner, the track here is the No. 1 draw. It could use an update with new padding at some point but as long as the that track is here, I'm coming back!! Keep up the place and God Bless!! Karen Reynolds Plano, Texas

I have been a member at The East Plano club for 3 years. I have enjoy my workouts there. The employees are friendly and will assist with any workout issues you have. I Did personal training with Robert and he was awesome, he challenged me throughout my workouts. I saw good gains.

I've noticed the staff knows most of the members by name. This place is super friendly! I signed up here because they had really great prices but honestly the customer service is what sets them apart! Thanks to Veronica and Spiro I have found my forever gym!

I would rate a 0 if I could!I have been trying to cancel since July. I sent a certified letter to corporates P.O. Box (On 7/24/20) and was scanned by the USPS. They claim they never received this (which is probably why they use a P.O. Box) and I have now been charged for another month and likely another, as it is now within 30 days of billing yet again. Corporate does not have a voicemail set up and calls are even forwarded after several rings or even upon first ring. The employees at my local gym I was going to even said “Corporate never answers calls.” WHAT?!Customer service email is what claims they never received my cancellation even though I have proof from USPS. (Email also had many spelling errors including my name).I have called my local gym several times and gotten no where and was told the GM, Felix, would call me back about this issue.I am pregnant and on medical restrictions. I do not feel comfortable going into a gym with people unmasked even if I could drive up there (which I cannot). I had to send my husband to send the certified letter.I am beyond frustrated with this. They are losing out on a premium membership (as I was planning to rejoin after recovery). They are in breach of their own contract. BEWARE!This is why all of the complaints against them are about their corporate being bad and cancellation being a mess. Their CEO, Joshua Wheeler, as well as their owners should be held accountable for such awful professionalism.EDIT: Here we are four days later from writing this review and receiving a “response” from the “owner” and nothing has happened with this issue.I had to email “customer service” back for a second time since I received no response. I have still not heard from a manager or anyone in management either. My certified letter was delivered Via USPS and confirmed via tracking ticket and was not returned to my address, as it included a return address. Therefore, my membership is cancelled and I am due a returned amount of fraudulent charges billed on 9/3/20.

I just joined Texas Family Fitness and cannot say enough good things about them. I am an outdoor person who does not like to use gyms but I got sold here when I realized they provided kids club so my kids can interact with other kids while I work out. Additionally I was impressed by Mo who signed me up hassle free and made himself available to answer all of my subsequent questions prior to my first workout. I also appreciated Sabrina's professional and friendly attitude in assisting me with acclimating to the facility upon my arrival for my workout. Lastly I signed up for a personal trainer and was assigned to Teri. She rocks! I highly recommend this place. They really are all about family.

I have been coming here for 2 years and I love it! Has all the equipment I need. Always on time when I want to come in early to get my work out in Managers Adam and Mo are very welcoming and answer any questions I may have. The staff is very professional and always friendly and helpful! Keelie always greets me with a smile when I walk in and remembers my name. I had an amazing personal trainer Renee . She was always pushing me to get better, patient, encouraged and guided me to reach my goals when I was doing my weightloss challenge.

Great gym! My hubs and I have been members for over a year. Good Monday night yoga class and they have a dedicated women’s weight machine area which is a nice option. Reception area greeters are very friendly and helpful. (shout out to Veronica! 😊) I would definitely recommend. …

*** after speaking with a supervisor today, I'm hopeful that the kids club can go back to how it was before. Consistent rules that don't change with each employee working and and a fun, safe place for kids to hang out while their parents work out. I'll adjust my review again to reflect any positive changes! ***The kids club dynamic is way off and it's been like that for a long time. I feel the staff has tried to double down on rules as a way to make up for lack of training. The kids club attendants change so quickly and they are not trained---many of them have told me themselves. Right now, this new group of employees have put out a "no running" ban that will result in your kid getting put in time out if they do. Also, if your kid isn't wearing socks, they deny entry altogether. I worked there for almost three years and we never had to ban running or deny entry for lack of socks. And I'm 99% sure that they're technically not even allowed to put kids in time out OR issue punishments of any kind. They're not a daycare, remember? They are not allowed to do certain things due to this. If this pattern continues, I'm not sure I'll be going to this gym much longer. They're supposed to be Texas FAMILY Fitness, and if my kids are miserable in the kids club, I will not be making them go anymore and we will find something better.
