Very rude and aggressive staff.First, we know and accept your club rule forcing wearing shoes. At the same time, doing yoga in shoes is much more traumatic than barefoot.Anyway, nobody was going to violate the rules without permission. A time ago, my wife asked Fitness 19 employees about this. She has been told that she may take off her shoes if she is doing yoga in the turf zone (distant from any equipment) on her own mat. She is barefoot only on her mat and doesn't leave the mat without shoes. It's not the one place where she's got such permission. She asked that in Dublin and Livermore clubs and got similar answers. After that, everything was fine for months. So, my wife did her strength workout and started doing short (10-15 min) yoga stretching. Josh came to her and demanded to wear shoes very rudely and disrespectfully. My wife rejected his demands, but she did it only because of how rude his demand was. If previously granted permission to be carefully barefoot in a limited area was revoked - that should be explained. At that moment, my wife called me. We didn't hang up the call, and I heard the following conversation for 20 minutes. Josh and two other employees (names unknown) decided to force my wife to leave the club and called the police. At the same time, when my wife wanted to fulfill their requirement to go, they didn't allow her to leave. They took all her belongings and didn't allow her to reach the locker to grab her documents, car keys, etc. They detained my wife for around 15 minutes until the police arrived. And only the police helped her to take her belongings back and leave the club. What is the kind of bullying when someone demands you to go and doesn't allow you to take your belongings and leave? Is it normal for Fitness 19 to punish customers by detention? In a couple of days, we arranged a meeting with Chad Lee, the manager of the Pleasanton club. We both (my wife and I) were in this conversation. We went outside so we wouldn't disturb other people. The final position of Chad was clear: everything he heard from his colleagues was true; everything he heard from us was a lie, and we may go away. Besides, Chad refused to tell us the names of two other employees involved in the accident. That's what excellent customer service is, isn't it?At the end of the conversation, Josh came to us. Note, it was not inside the club, where Josh may have heard our conversation. It was on the street, and Josh deliberately intervened. He asked what was going on. I don't understand; who is the main manager of the Pleasanton club, Chad or Josh? We asked for a personal conversation with Chad. Why does Josh consider his intervention as appropriate? I explained to Josh the essence of our complaints and politely asked Josh to leave us and let us finish the conversation with Chad. He refused. Is that normal? Josh's behavior was bullying, arrogant, and provocative. Josh relished in his superiority. I asked Chad several times to remove Josh from our conversation and let us finish the talk since Josh's behavior only escalated the situation. Chad refused. Moreover, Chad clearly showed us that Josh is his "best buddy," and we may leave. We have nothing to do to leave the area.

Somebody call Josh a bully. I just can only confirm this. Josh is bully, unprofessional trainer with low or little skills. He is a friend of Sebastian Roberts ( Manager of Dublin fitness 19) and Chad Lee (manager of Pleasanton). Using their friendship, they proceed the bulling company against people whom they found not convenient for Fitness 19. Or, even, they really organize it. I don't know if Chad Lee just a innocent part of this scheme, but Roberts, Lee and Chad are friends. This is the fact. When I feel that I am discriminated in Dublin I change my choice to Pleasanton. Unfortunately when I got the call from the S. Roberts I openly said that I am not satisfied with service in Dublin, and going to visit Pleasanton. After that Josh organize the bulling company against me in Pleasanton. Every my visit I feel something wrong. Shortly, Fitness 19 in Dublin and Pleasanton hostile to any person who experienced in the gym and do training earnestly on the turf. They use to attack these people, especially women. I am women in age and I exactly know when something like this happened. Of course, they did not expected that I can get the connection. However, when I was bulled in Pleasanton for far-fetched reason. I intentionally visited Dublin twice and Livermore twice to talk with staff there to comprehend the whole situation. Conclusively, exuding people is intentional police of Dublin/Pleasanton Fitness 19. There are a group of trainers who know each other and organize bulling. They cultivate the belligerent atmosphere and deliberately discriminate women. How? There is a many way to get it. I know it is an austere accusation and I am going to jotting on everything to sent to the District management. I can compare Dublin/Pleasanton with Livermore, because I visited all three gyms. Livermore has a normal attitude toward customers. At least, what I felt was casual curiosity about who what doing without destroying boundaries. Women behave and workout in Livermore freely. Now, I am a member of another club and actually already made there some acquittances for just two visits. New club and Livermore Fitness 19 is fresh air after Dublin/Pleasanton Fitness 19's discriminative attitude and mafia. Returning to the point about Dublin/Pleasanton situation, I would think before buying the membership for Dublin or Pleasanton Fitness 19. Dublin and Pleasanton Fitness 19 are not family-oriented, hostile and run aggressive bulling companies against people without reason. The only interest of trainers in these club to sold sessions with unprofessional trainers accompanied by the primitive boring program. So, if you really wish to get substantial result, understand how your body can work, and improve your health, choose another club.

Brian Glasco was tremendously helpful. My son and I have never been here before but he made signing up very quick and painless. He answered all my questions with professionalism, patience, and understanding. Answering all my questions is what took up most of the time to sign up. Filling out the application was such a breeze because we simply typed in own information into the computer. Which eliminated the lengthy process of interrogating me, “What’s your first name? What was it? How do you spell that?….” Brian, great service great attitude, great job!

Fraudulent business

This review is specifically for my personal trainer Arpit Patel. Partnering with him has been highly effective in achieving my fitness goals. He works hard to come up with a comprehensive fitness, nutrition plan that works for his clients. His focus is not just on results, but also on technique and form while exercising and helps create and maintain lifelong changes.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this gym, specifically due to the actions of an employee named Brian. I've encountered him on multiple occasions, and the latest incident compelled me to leave this one-star review.Today, I approached Julius, another employee, to check me in after he finished assisting another customer, since they were going to take a long time. Julius kindly obliged, knowing I had a valid membership, but Brian, who seems to relish in asserting his perceived authority, decided to interject. Despite being fully aware and saw that I had been checked in by Julius, Brian insisted on detaining me, following me through the gym and used an incredibly condescending tone throughout the interaction, calling me "bud" and "buddy", not in a friend-to-friend matter, but in the condescending tone he always has.Not only did he dismiss my attempts to explain the situation, but he also went so far as to threaten to revoke my membership. It's worth noting that other employees I am familiar with, have confirmed that Brian lacks the authority to carry out such threats. His refusal to listen and constant condescension made the entire encounter thoroughly unprofessional and left me feeling disrespected and unheard. What's even more troubling is that this is not an isolated incident. I've heard from friends who have experienced similar harassment from Brian, being hassled to check in despite having valid memberships, while others are allowed to stroll in without scrutiny. It should also be pointed out that whenever Brian closes the gym without another employee, several employees I am friends/ familiar with have told me that he acts more "highly" and uses his "power" as an employee to tell people off or tell them to get out.I completely understand the importance of scanning in with a valid membership and not free-loading, but Brian seems more interested in causing problems that could have easily been solved by confirming with Julius, as I suggested during the incident. His behavior is not only unprofessional but also creates unnecessary tension and frustration for gym members.Brian's condescension, unprofessionalism, and abuse of perceived authority are unacceptable. I hope the management takes appropriate action to address this issue and ensures that members are treated with the respect they deserve. I am willingP.S. I was told that there is a new app system to check in (which I didn't know about) , so I will be definitely be making an account to limit interactions with Brian. It's important to note that my experiences at the gym have generally been positive, and I have never encountered any issues with other employees, highlighting that the problem seems to be specific to Brian's behavior.

I've always enjoyed the gym here, but Chad the manager made my experience a 5/5. He has always been very attentive and friendly. Never appearing unapproachable and always willing to help out. I always feel welcome at this location!
