I signed up online. The front desk girls are super nice. They helped answer my questions. I would recommend. I've never had a gym pass besides the one my old employer offered and the money is worth spending.

I’ve been a member for two years now. I started at the university gym and have always been there. I called and asked to switch to the provo gym and they said that was fine. They then called me back the next day and said I had to pay a $25 transfer fee because it was my second transfer, even though I had never transferred before. The lady told me it was free to transfer and then calls back telling me I have to pay. Terrible service and their employees obviously don’t know their own policies very well.Update: Over a week later and still have not been contacted like they said they would below. Doesn’t seem that they care much about their customers. Unfortunate.

Misleading marketing, overly crowded space, limited equipment, and personal trainers that are very single minded and try too hard to tell you what kind of body shape you want to be working for. You can get an all around better experience with better equipment and better perks for a better price at the Provo recreation center or a number of other gyms in the area. Overall it’s just not worth your membership when you compare it to the alternatives.

I had my account set up in part by a member of staff at the front desk. There was a load of pressure to hurry and get out of the way (I'm trying to sign up to your service..?). I had them double check all the information, only to find out at my second visit that Ogden had been put in as my primary gym, not Provo. It's a $25 fee to have that changed, which is fine, but I decided that the busy, COVID unsafe space and unhelpful desk staff weren't worth paying for, logged on and ended up having to pay about $85 dollars to cancel the membership. An incredible rip off, honestly felt a bit like a grift. Probably works out if you are planning to go super consistently over a long time but if you're a casual gym-goer, there are places with better customer support and that try at least less blatantly to scalp you.

This place will steal your money. They do not let you cancel your membership. When I went into the gym 3 years ago to cancel my membership, they said I had to call the corporate phone number to cancel. When I called SEVERAL times over the next months, I was on hold for hours at a time. They never answered my phone calls to cancel. They just continued to bill me no matter what I did. They did the same thing to my best friend. I finally called my bank to have them block the monthly payments, and VASA sent me to collections. Now my credit is affected. Just because they wouldn't cancel my membership!!! Horrible company. Crooks.

VASA lacks the human decency of letting you know you still have a subscription with them if you haven't shown up at the gym for more than 3 or 4 months, in my case 8+ months. Most people would send out an automated email asking if you're still there/would like to keep paying for and using their service but VASA doesn't care. They'll keep charging you and not vocalize it. You'll only realize it if you're paying close attention to the money that comes out of your bank account because they also don't email you every month when they charge you.Lack of human decency.

Competitive price (except for their $100 fee they charge after 2 months) and overall great gym. Very large with lots of options. The equipment is a bit older than I expected but by no means terrible. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Way too small for the amount of people that go here. There is a reason that most students go to the Vasa up in Orem. A lot of the equipment is on the verge of breaking or is visibly old, it's constantly dim because of all of the burned out lights in the ceiling. If you can avoid going during peak hours that is definitely best, otherwise you will need to wait in line to use the machines. For 15$/month it's not the worst value but it would be great if the space they were in were used more efficiently or even if it felt like they didn't want you to workout in darkness.I should say that despite how dingy and overcrowded this gym is the students who work here as staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

It's a gym. I went because it was close and convenient and I didn't have to have my own weights. Starting and ending my membership were poor experiences because no one explained what was going on until it was too late. But there was one time my credit card had an issue and they worked things out with me. So it wasn't all good, but it wasn't all bad either

Gym gets the job done, but I'll put the fees people are talking about here. So counting the $50 annual fee, your membership is closer to $15 a month. Also, the annual fee is unaffected if you pause your membership. This sign doesn't say it either but there's a $10 fee if you want to freeze your account. Also, this Vasa only has 4 benches and 4 normal squat racks. They have a lot of room, they should get rid of the machines no one uses.
