I wash my hands after every workout and the sink is full of black water. The black water is from all the dirty equipment. Is that healthy? The photo I provided is of one the many out of order machines. This one has been out for at least a month. I found a cable that has a sharp piece of metal stabbing anyone who grab for it (including me.) I told the front desk staff and they told me that maintenance would have to fix it. They then stared at me blankly and never put any kind of warning sign. How is maintenance supposed to know about it now?

Don't believe their low rates. You pay a lot to join and $40 per year to "maintain" your current monthly price. Equipment is falling apart, weights and benches always out of place, and the staff are always playing on their phones and make minimal effort to interact "have a good night." I only have every seen the staff maintain an orderly gym at 11:55 right before closing.

This gym is good if you like smaller scale gyms, and you can avoid the rush if you go at the right times. There's a variety of people there from those who have never touched a dumbbell to those who are seasoned lifters. The facility is fairly clean, the weights are pretty well worn, and the customer service is 50/50, depending on who's behind the counter. If you go during peak hours expect to be pretty frustrated with not getting what equipment you want as well as the gym etiquette of 80% of the gym's population. Other gyms are definitely better, but this gym is an affordable (despite what you read elsewhere, VASA offers a pretty good price compared to other gyms) option if you're willing to deal with some worn equipment and spotty customer service.
