compared to the crunch and roslindale this place is fantastic and 100 ways the crunch and roslindale was dirty and the management that runs that place is horrible in his personality the way deals with people and the way he even deals with staff I've never ever been to a place that was so not nice this place is 100 million times better too bad the one in roslindale can't take some hints from this one

Super cramped environment. Not enough paper towel/ sanitizer stations, you have to walk across the gym just to wipe down. It's ok but I don't enjoy going.

Clean gym! Definitely check the crowd meter online before coming in just because it’s a medium sized gym and when it gets busy theres no room to do anything. Overall, friendly and helpful staff, good music, and very clean! Definitely recommend

"Exercise improves mental health by reducing anxiety, depression, and negative mood and by improving self-esteem and cognitive function. Exercise has also been found to alleviate symptoms such as low self-esteem and social withdrawal." - Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, NCBII started this review with this quote because more than ever people need an outlet to reduce anxiety, depression and many more especially during these unprecedented times. For me this facility is personal. I started last year when they opened up in September during that time I was dealing with personal issues and ended up in a dark place. Coming to crunch allowed me to work out my problems and vacate the dark space. Yes, I could of gone anywhere but I chose here. I tried them out because they were new and I am still a member till this day. The reason why I continue to be a member is because of the service and people that work there. Each staff member takes pride in thier work and the facilty. They do thier best to keep it up standards so that it can stay open during these times. This place is a gem but would hate to see it overcrowded lol, get your own gym.Enjoy coming here.

This place is decent during off peak hours. When it’s busy, it is awful. Nothing left everything is taken and it’s hard to social distance during that time. Would not recommend going if you can’t go during odd hours when people don’t workout. Or you’d just be standing around with nothing to do and trying to avoid people. The equipment is nice when you can use them but for the crowd the gym is definitely small and hopefully get expanded some how that would be nice

Very disappointed with this brand. I am currently paying for Peak Plus ($24.95) membership, which includes multi club access, and now Im being asked to pay $30 to use other facility. The gym in Brockton is temporarily closed due to Covid. I decided to visit the location in Braintree. Upon entering, an employee informed me that I had to pay $30 for one month access. They shared that Brockton accounts were temporarily suspended and that members would not be charged for the month of December. Turns out, I paid for December's membership and haven't been refunded. Here is where my disappoint1. I wasn't informed that my account was suspended and I would not have access to my membership benefits. Poor Communication. Poor Customer Focus.2. I was not refunded for December's membership. Poor Customer Focus.3. I would like the option to keep my account active because I want to be able to visit other gyms in the area. Poor Communication. Poor Customer Focus.4. I am being asked to pay $30 instead of $25.Crunch Fitness is a franchise. I am interested to understand the corporations involvement in these decisions.I believe that these steps taken were to discourage members from Brockton/Boston to visit other locations which would lead to the gyms hitting capacity faster than normal. It's unfortunate. It doesn't make me feel like a member of the Crunch Fitness family. Instead I am a paying customer.

The manager John was absolutely terrible this review is just for his customer service. Had no issues with any other staff there, gym was great. I would recommend either the Rosalindale or Medford crunch. Do not go to this crunch and deal with this guy, this is coming from someone who used to be a member at planet fitness. Walked in asking if there was a trial and he said there wasn’t, then he made me pay for a day pass. But would give me a 3 day trial if I buy a membership afterward. That makes sense for a free trial. Then I walked up to him showing him the free trial on the crunch website and he said I could have came free if I came inside with the email. I asked him what the difference of me going in the parking lot and getting the email and coming back was and his response was, “We just don’t do it like that”. Very bad business.
