Amazing gym and staff always welcoming and caring. Been there a year and in my best shape of my life. I make the 40 minute drive from Dighton to workout here over my local one in fallriver . Only thing I want in there is more machines because I'm so in love with this workout thing . They have gotten me hooked .

Like some I got ripped off on PT for months. Workouts were very intense which I appreciated, but zero nutritional help. Sabrina left me because she wasn’t getting paid to do them after 5 PM?? Andrew was great but left the gym. Not very “personal” training. Finally got out of that and this gym is really nice for the base plan of about $10 a month.

The only reason I come here is because their machines are updated and aren’t repetitively broken in comparison to Roslindale location. The direct disrespect from their female staff is downright disgusting. If I have an issue it isn’t your business to respond. Customer service means you are friendly especially when you don’t own the gym. Maybe it’s because I’m a woman of color but I know this for certain. I won’t be coming here again. I wouldn’t advise it anyways LA Fitness is a way better gym and the staff are always amazing no matter where I go.

The owner of this business is of the worst kind of human. One that creates a business that is designed to attract working class people who can't afford the bells and whistles other gyms provide, and then orchestrates a scheme to ensure that those hard-working people get ripped off for months, if not YEARS after. I purchased a package of 12 sessions with a personal trainer for around $600 - as a new member this was supposed to be a perk. The trainer, after 10 sessions, stopped responding to my texts and no longer set up sessions with me. I assumed that since I had been around 10 sessions that was the end of that. Then I checked my credit card statement, and found that they were still charging me an additional $340 on top of what I had already paid ($600) irregardless of whether those sessions actually happened. I e-mailed the manager, and he couldn't be less accomodating, essentially saying there was nothing I could do about it because I signed some "agreement" in the contract blah blah blah. My wife is still getting e-mails claiming she owes money and they are going to send a collection agency after her, despite cancelling months ago. The owner is a complete scumbag. DO NOT GIVE THIS BUSINESS YOUR FINANCIAL INFORMATION. Pay the extra $30 a month and go to the YMCA, where they will treat you like a human and won't try to rip you off - in the long run it's worth it.

Stay away from this unscrupulous business! The gym itself had nice equipment and facilities (at least it did the last time I was there as a member, pre-covid!). We ended our membership over a year ago after moving, and since then we have been called and emailed numerous times saying we are “past due,” even though each time we have called the gym back to correct them and have received verbal assurance that this is some sort of “mistake” or glitch on their end. We have emails to show the termination of our membership contract, which had always been paid and in good standing. It seems like they have us on some list to call or email every few months to see if they can trick us into believing we are past due, just to swindle some cash out of us. Don’t even get me started on the shadiness of the personal training payments, our trainer left the gym without notifying us and we were still on the hook for paying for sessions. Very disappointing and dishonest way to run a business.

Totally a rip off. My wife is a nurse during a pandemic who is trying to stay fit. To begin with, we started going here last November. The first personal trainer kept canceling on us, the second personal trainer Matt wouldn’t listen to my wife, who has 2 slipped discs in her spine, when she said she can’t do squats. The third was a manager, I’m not even going to go there. We called and told them we were disappointed and wanted to cancel our contract because the issues we were having were on the gym’s end. Chris, the manager, refused to let us cancel even thought all the problems were the trainers fault. Anyway, we are loving LA fitness. We have a fantastic trainer, named Susan who actually shows up and does exercises with my wife that she can handle and don’t cause her pain. They also kept charging us the wrong rate and couldn’t seem to get on the same page. We had an agreement with the personal trainer manager on a payment plan and they kept over charging us so we would have to call them to adjust it like three times

When the moment you walk in, you are greeted by your first name and makes it feel like a family atmosphere. The instructors are too notch and everyone is so friendly. I have been going since they have opened and even with change of staff they seem to find someone to keep the family atmosphere alive. Crunch is very well operated and I look forward to going to the gym weekly.

Had a trainer he quit to go somewhere else that paid much more was placed with another trainer who flaked. Then another who never contacted me. I Asked for a refund as I was no longer comfortable with their services. That whole month Nick quit I didn’t have access to my workouts and was never provided my additional training. They truly never followed up about my services..Resolving the issue to crunch means continuing the 4 sessions I paid for what a joke. I don’t feel comfortable and was totally ripped off! Don’t sign up for training the gym is overpacked , over valued , a complete mess and a unprofessional. Go anywhere else.
