This is the best place on the planet. This club cured me of the depression that appeared after the war in my country Ukraine. Thanks to the people who work here!

I really wish they would higher older people like (retired vets) instead of teenagers and young adults under the age of 25. Here's why. The people at this ACAC has horrible customer service skills when it comes to alerting the members of new rules, issues that happened that day, pool closures, pool cleanings, etc.For example, an older man happened to be in the pool one day when the pool had to be closed. He had no idea the pool was being closed he was just in the pool like he normally is everyday on the rooftop. The young girl closed the pool and did not tell the man to get out of the pool, as she puts up the pool closed sign up. Later, she saw the man in the pool and goes over to the gentleman and with an attitude tells him, he needs to get out of the pool (as if he had gotten in the pool after she put the sign up.) Had she just paid attention when she was walking out she would have saw the man in the pool before she closed it. Either way, the way she approached a man was unacceptable. But I don't think he complained. I just feel when we adults are on the rooftop and we are doing something wrong the staff should pull us to the side and talk to us instead of embarrassing us in front of everybody and talking to us like children. And some of the managers on the rooftop are guilty as well. So their managers need to talk to them. Maybe you shouldn't be a manager if you don't have good customer service skills. Stop talking to adults as if they are children. Pull the adult over to the side and talk to them if you see someone doing something wrong. If they're in the hot tub and you see they're doing something wrong ask them can they please get out of the hot tub and speak with you as opposed to walking over to the hot tub and yelling over all the hot tub noise the rule you want implemented. Get it together people we pay too much money to come here for you to treat us like children and disrespect us. And stop changing the rules for your personal preference. I'm ready to end my membership and find me somewhere else to go I'm sure there are other places here with hot tubs.

Child care is usually understaffed, especially on weekends during scheduled classes. Because they're understaffed they do not usually open the upstairs for the older kids and make all of the kids play together no matter their age. My 22-month-old came home saying "God Damnit" after his morning in the kids zone from his father taking him. It's inappropriate and not enough RESPONSIBLE eyeballs on the younger kids (the teenage staff stares at their phones and doesn't have them put away like they should). When my son was younger I found him sitting in a walker in the corner in a poopy diaper with kids touching his face and giving him Cheerios at only 5 months old. His father has continued to not follow our court order and they know he's not supposed to be there. Join another gym if you need reliable childcare that is appropriately staffed. Staff turnover - You don't really know anyone who's in charge of your child's safety and well-being.

Not a big fan of the staff in the front desk. Aiden at the rooftop bar is amazing! He did a fabulous job. Also not a fan of trying to get a new membership here because I tried several times to get in contact with someone. I got my membership through midlothian as it was more friendly but I LOVE the facility, the group classes. The rooftop pools are always crowded but they have a great indoor pool and jacuzzi which is open close till 8:45 (now time changes apply) and their locker rooms are also great. Clean facility. The trainers are friendly and very nice.

The manager needs to have a serious conversation with the employees on the 4th floor (rooftop). Last week I was trying to buy a smoothie, but the employees were having a conversation and they didn’t pay attention to me until their conversation was done even though I was literally standing there at the front desk waiting for them for a long time. And last night I was getting ready to get in the rooftop pool and the employee stopped me and accused me and my mom of being too young (under 18!!) even though I’m a grown 21 years old girl and my mom is 35. I had my license on me to prove it but she was really disrespectful and her eyes were literally popping out of her head and I could tell she kicked me out for personal reasons. This is not the way of costumer service. Employees are not supposed bring their personal feelings to work weather that’s racism or just out of pure jealousy.

I’ve been a member of ACAC Short Pump for nearly 2 years. I work out there 5-7days a week. The gym has been undergoing renovation for a few weeks. A couple days ago, I learned that as part of the renovation, they are doing away with the track altogether. I and many other members use the track regularly. It has been a major asset I’ve valued. I heard through another member, this decision was not made on the local level. Certainly, members were never surveyed about what aspects of the gym we prioritize or what changes we’d like to see, as part of the renovation. Also, the central part of the main floor, where weight machines reside, looks narrower. Where did that space go? It looks like the final footprint, unless I’m mistaken. These two changes alone are downgrades in spite of the expected new, improved equipment. Disappointing.
