I enjoyed my time with ACAC during the time I held a membership. The facility is clean and most of the staff is friendly. I cancelled my membership only because I was moving out of the United States.I called and cancelled my membership with ACAC due to the fact the I moved out of the country in August 2021, I was still receiving charges on my card and noticed in October 2021. Called ACAC and the "manager" essentially said sorry I don't have records and then refunded October's membership charge (which I appreciate) and stated "sorry you feel that way"- after I explained to him my situation. After being a customer at ACAC for years and even maintaining and paying my membership through the entire year of 2020 during COVID that makes me feel very slighted. I am not sure how they handle other issues, so I would get something in writing it you cancel your membership to ensure they do not keep charging you.

It's a gym. It's a really nice gym with 4 floors of equipment and a kids zone. All of my interactions with the staff and trainers have been great, and they have bent over backwards to accommodate any problems I have had.

ACAC is fantastic, cleanest gym I have ever been to. You get what you pay for here with the services, pool and everyone is very nice. Will continue to come here for my fitness needs.

ACAC Short Pump is an excellent gym. It is always clean and safe for everyone. From swimming to personal training to enjoying friends at Pickle Ball games there is a lot that ACAC offers at the Short Pump location. It truly is an atmosphere of family and community.

They are super unresponsive. They don't honor their promises and don't value customer time. My husband and I decided to register after their 3-day trial period. On Feb 1st we went to register and we were hoping to start the same day. They told us that we can't register because we don't have an appointment. They asked for our phone number and said someone in their membership team will reach out in the next 48 hours. No one called. After a few days, I called back hoping to set an appointment for registration. They asked for my phone number again and promised that someone would call the next morning. No one called!!! After a few days, I decided to email the membership advisor who signed us up for the 3-day trail. I assumed they would be more responsive to emails. Nope! In sum, I have tried multiple times to reach them and sign-up in-person, over the phone, and by email and I haven't been successful. It's time to move on!Update: I appreciate you responding to my review. This is the first time I have received a response from ACAC in a month. Just to make a few things clear: 1) How can your emails not go through when I receive multiple emails a day in that account (Google's notification of your response being one of them), 2) If the membership team has called me 5 times, how come I've never received the calls or a voice mail? Again, I appreciate your response, but I have a hard time accepting they have reached out to me several times.

So, I don’t have a ton of experience lifting weights but I thought it was a normal thing to ask someone to allow me to “work in” a set, especially if the person had been sitting on the machine for 10 minutes, taking about 3 minutes in between sets. I mean, there are stickers on the machines giving people that polite reminder. You would have thought I asked his girlfriend to dance! What a look!! Okay, I get it. I won’t ask. Go ahead and take your 12 minute visit with the machine.

Lots of very rude old people, but great gym otherwise. Obviously the old people problem isn't their fault. Definitely check this gym out if you're a serious lifter. There's a few juice fiend IFBB material members that lift here.

Amazing place to get healthy! Short Pump is my fave location. I highly recommend working with one of their trainers. I was fortunate enough to connect with one who is excellent at working with "older" folks like me who have special physical fitness needs.

I have been a member for over four years now and extremely satisfied with the entire experience. They have all of the equipment that you will need to keep in shape and all of it is well maintained. It costs double what you pay at "bargain" gyms, but you get what you pay for here and alot more. The year round indoor pools, rooftop pool, hot tubs, saunas, steamrooms and country club atmosphere is what sold me. The staff is always very helpful and pleasant. They always run two or three day trial specials so I urge you to check it out, you will see. There is a reason I have been a member here for nearly half a decade.

New gym goer like first time in life besides school new lol awesome place, was nervous at first about judgements but everyone has been super nice & I love that it’s not overwhelming-ly busy in the mornings! A lot of open space so you feel comfortable being around others and they do an A plus job keeping it cleaning as well as making sure members keep it clean as well. Thanks ACAC! Just would love a tanning bed! 😁
