Gold's Gym

I usually go to Gold's at Willow Lawn, but I started out at Mechanicsville Gold's. I like the cleanliness and the gym set up at mech better than willow. Billy, the manager, is welcoming and friendly. Havy, at the front desk, is energetic, charismatic, and helpful. The rest of the staff is always welcoming and contributes to the awesome gold's gym environment. Keep it up!!

This location is very nice, friendly, the staff is professional and knowledgeable. I've been a member at Gold's before, but this location definitely exceeds the previous gym I went to. I highly recommend going and taking a tour. I spoke with Ross while there, and he was awesome. Answered all my questions and got me set up in less then 30 mins.

I love Gold's Gym Mechanicsville!! I take the GGX classes exclusively. The instructors are awesome!! They motivate me to keep coming back. You can clearly feel how much they love the members in their classes. They do above and beyond bringing the most challenging and fun choreography while making sure we have proper form. I am thankful to be excited about working out. I really look forward to it because of them. The management at this Gold's is always friendly and helpful. Great experience always!!

Gold's Gym in Mechanicsville is my go-to location for my evening workouts. The facility is never crowded and the staff always greets you with a smile and are super-helpful. I also use the Kid's Club for my 3 year old quite frequently and am comfortable with the services they provide. My son absolutely adores the club manager, Kieran Horne as well as the other ladies whom he sees frequently. I feel at ease knowing he is not just being watched, but also engaged in various activities.

I am part of the lunch crew. I have tried different gyms, classes and even trainers and nothing compares to the lunch time instructors! Stacey Haygood and Kelsey Foster are nothing but amazing, caring and push you to be not just stronger but better all around. They hold you accountable and make it where you want to be there everyday. If you haven't taken one of their classes you don't know what your missing!! I can't forgot the manager, Billy who greets me with a smile and makes the gym a welcoming place for all! Clean gym with staff that is knowledgeable and wants the best results for its members. Always friendly and engaging as well. Equipment is always maintained properly and safely. If you are looking for a place to get healthy, whether beginner or advanced, I highly recommend the Golds Gym in Mechanicsville.

Great gym! Respectful and helpful management as well as very understanding. Staff are helpful and friendly. Friendly environment with a variety of people. This is my everyday gym that I can come knock out my workouts.

I like that it is a large gym, meaning I have never had to wait to use equipment. I also like the group fitness instructors, they are clearly knowledgeable in their fields. Only reason for a 4 star vs 5 is the front desk usually has trouble answering simple questions that I feel they should know the answers too. IE: "does golds gym have an app, and if so whats it called?", front desk just confused but an instructor was able to help me.

Great place to get your work out in! I come in at their peak hours at night but have always had great service. The front desk staff is friendly and Billy, the General Manager, is in front of the desk or walking the gym talking to everyone. Great customer service all around. Only reason it's not 5 stars is that I'd like one addition squat rack added.

I am part of the early morning crew (5 A.M.). I must say that the person that used to open did not do a great job. HOWEVER, when I completed a survey emailed to me (who knew anyone actually read those?) the manager, Billy actually contacted me. He had no idea some of the issues that were going on. He addressed all of my concerns.We now have a new gentleman, Jay, that opens and he is great! Always there early to open, always greets us and always has a smile. Billy really has taken customer service (especially in this day and age) to a whole new level, which makes me a very happy customer! In addition to this superior customer service, Billy always tries to make sure we have the equipment we need and that it is clean. I will not be going anywhere else. Thanks!!!
