Gold's Gym Austin Hester's Crossing

The people that work there are great, but the company Gold's Gym is terrible. I quit last month but they still try to charge my inactive card so they can add on fees.

DUE TO COVID the gym has been doing a good job with social distances and cleaning the equipment. I've noticed it's a bit too crowded for my liking after 5pm. Weekends around 8am-10am are pretty chill with not much traffic.

Too many members are not wearing mask or wearing inappropriate and staff doing nothing. Around 1800 on Nov 16, about 8 people were not wearing mask. Members wear mask and management PLEASE ENFORCE. Let’s not get to relaxed, we don’t want the gym to close; COVID is serious! I don’t feel safe, will try another location in the area.

Pretty frustrated with this place right now. I signed up for a 3 day free trial, and because I was a day late in requesting to cancel, I had to pay for a full year membership. I tried to explain my situation to the assistant GM and several staff, but they wouldn’t concede. A few of their employees led me on to believe that a refund was being processed for my membership, but in the end no money was refunded.

If you're looking for a gym with knowledgeable, friendly staff then this Golds is the right fit for you. Clean equipment and facilities, good layout and the GM Justin Anders will get you set up right away. Hands down the best

Horrible. Cancelled....kept taking money from my account. Had to stop it through my bank....and now I am getting harassing calls and emails. I have sent several emails to Jason Price, who emailed me to see if I fell of the fitness wagon....only after they stopped getting paid....not when I stopped coming in.....I just sent one final email....hopefully he shares it with whoever is the manager....or there will be legal action forthcoming. Stay away....plenty of other good gyms around and far less expensive

The gym just opened after covid19 but unlike other gyms ....they fail when it comes to following gov recommend guidelines. Way too many people allowed. I figured that they would fail to since they barely maintain the upkeep of the gym before the pandemic ... I guess I will check out some other gym options that have stepped up their customer safety.

I've been going to this gym for years. The team here is extremely helpful. My child loves coming to the Kid's Club and always makes new friends. This Golds has everything you need to get in shape or maintain your health. My #1 gym!

I love golds but this one in particular is my favorite. It is always so clean and well put together. As soon as I walk into this golds there is always someone at the front to greet me and wish me a great workout. This golds doesn’t Only provide a great equipment selection along with classes, but it also provides a great fitness community and environment starting with the staff along with all the other gym junkies who are always there to push you and cheer you on! Justin the GM is also always on his A game and is there to answer any questions or concerns I have. I give this golds a 10 out of 10 keep up the great work!

I’ve called multiple times to cancel my membership and they’re still charging me months after. I recommend anywhere else so that you’re not spending more than what you asked. If they spent more time on making sure customers are satisfied and getting it done correctly it would be a different story. The General Manger Justin Anders, is really unhelpful and super unprofessional. Again use any other gym if you want friendly customer service and to save your money.
