Will not return phone calls. Ive called the location 4 times to cancel my membership and no one picks up the phone to walk me through the process. I leave voicemails that arent returned, yet I still get emails about updating my membership profile. No one in membership services is reaching out.

Beware of their contracts!I prepaid for a 1 year contract because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of getting out of a contract with Gold's... I had been prewarned "you can checkout any time you like, but you can never leave"... by leave I mean stop paying!Month 9 of my 12 month contract I call customer service hoping that I can get a prorated refund because I am moving to a place with no Gold's Gym. I was told that prepaids cannot be canceled or prorated. I read the contract, and sure enough. It was true. So I took it and moved on.4 MONTHS LATER, you guessed it, they billed me for another 1 year! I called customer service and was told that I did not cancel via the website so the renewal was processed. When I read my contract to the customer nonservice representative, he said that maybe there was a change since my contract was signed and I had to now use the website. So I went to the website. It doesn't work!!! I used 2 browsers; "Ooops… something went wrong" when I tried to cancel.Beware!! These guys are snakes. Fortunately I have AMEX and they have my back. Be careful of how you pay. These people are unscrupulous.

My father and I signed up in March and obviously the gym closed a month after. Was told they'd waive the cancelation fee because it wasn't our fault that we can't go (high risk family living w us & change in jobs due to covid) but the corporate number never answered. Now im getting calls and emails every other day but when I call the number to try and talk to someone im on hold for 7 mins and then they hang up. Just dont understand the lack of empathy during this crisis....regret ever giving them another chance.

I am very disappointed in Golds.I wanted to try the gym and was told that I can cancels within the first 30 days. I realized this was not the gym for and canceled. They are still charging me for an extra month because they "Need" 30 days to cancel. The fine print does say that you can cancel , you just need to come a certain number of times and meet with a trainer. I understand all those requirements and knew that going in. Well, its COVID and they were not offering all the 1 on 1 options. That is not my fault, I did all I could. I will never consider a Golds again.

Sad that we want to start paying this location for their services again, but they are still trying to gouge us for hundreds of dollars of fees during COVID. You would think any business would appreciate paying customers at this point. We were in perfectly good standing before COVID, but then AFTER the gym closed down for COVID, they charged us again. We tried calling but there was no one to talk to, so we disputed the charge and asked that no other charges from the gym be allowed. We tried calling to cancel our membership at that time, but again, no one to talk to. Now we are told we owe for that bogus charge, a fee for returning the charge, and several months of a lesser charge they’ve been trying to get from us since they reopened, even though we hadn’t yet gone back. We had been members for years, just sad that the company would treat us like this and that no one on site either cares enough or is allowed to do what’s right.

I enjoy the aqua fitness classes very much! However, the ladies showers are very dirty! Need to blast those showers with a steamer! I have reported these issues 3 weeks ago and still nothing has been done! Band-aid on the shower for 3 weeks...gross! Or is it a coincidence that a band-aid is in the exact same spot from 3weeks ago? Machine that rings out swimsuit is dirty, reported to front desk....3 weeks later still dirty!

Beware of the "long term contract." If you move and/or cannot afford to pay it, and don't use the facility, they feel justified to still take money from you until the contract timeline ends. It's bad news for me, and they won't know what their bad news is until the end of our contract. We simply will never return in our lifetime. Period. Eventually, if others do the same, they will suffer a slow death as a business. Doesn't make sense to me, but my lesson will be their lesson later as well.

James the Personal trainer is Awesome! He's training me and shows very strong work ethics. Great gym fun environment and very clean, I highly recommend this GYM in the Pfugerville area.

They charged me $104 I dont know why when I ONLY PAY $43.29 A MONTH JUST for MYSELF. This is ridiculous & I called for them to say “ sorry I can’t do anything about it u have to call another time when the GM is here “ this is stupid I never thought I’d have this much bad experience at this gym & I only been with them for 2 months.
