I have nothing but good things to say about planet fitness. Friendly atmosphere, the professionalism they display the help they give you . I’ve been to a couple but the Round Rock Location has theBe the best . They display the best of Texas and represent Round Rock very well

It’s a no judgement zone. I have COPD and it was so bad I couldn’t walk from my bathroom to my chair (about 10 feet) without getting out of breath. I started pulmonary rehab and twice a week just wasn’t cutting it. So, I joined Planet Fitness. I try to go everyday but often can’t keep it up. But I walk on a treadmill, with my oxygen cranked up, for 40 minutes a day. It leaves me very breathless, but my lungs are getting stronger and I no longer have to go to rehab, I just do the gym. It has saved my life, literally!

The staff really seems to care about you. When you walk in they greet you at the desk. There are plenty of hand sanitizer stations and wipes throughout the gym which means they care about your health. It can get busy around the 5 o’clock hour when everyone is using all the weight machines. You might have to wait for a machine but there are plenty of cardio options.

****UPDATE****The updates look so good! Way to go PF!I don't think it's quite fair to leave a rating for things out of their control. It's a good gym with great staff. It's under construction so some of the amenities aren't available, but again it's not their fault. Excited to see the changes.

I recently had some issues with the facilities features due to lack of proper training, and the recent room # changes.The manager took his time to reach out to me with a very length email, apologizing for the mishaps, and he corrected the problem immediately.Super nice guy! I highly recommend this location!Especially with management that actually cares what’s going on and wants to make sure every visit is more amazing than the last and not just about the numbers!Keep it up guys! 💪😎

Now that they've replaced the early morning guy. I love coming here in the morning again!! Always a great variety of equipment for a good workout, and now friendly and competent staff!Update--- they did not replace the old morning guy who is absolutely horrible. Waited 20min to find him, then had to chase him down cause he couldn't hear me because of his ear buds!! This is every single morning!!! I've been to a lot of planet fitness gyms across the country and this guy is by far the worst emoyee I've ever come across!!

The general manager was great! He went above and beyond to call my previous home club himself to get my club transfer completed. That was greatly appreciated! All the staff have been ready to assist if I ever have a question. The gym is always well stocked with paper towels & the dispensers actually work. There's plenty of disinfectant spray, as well as hand sanitizer. The gym is clean. It's a great club to join in the RR area!

Thank you Pedro for sorting my location for my tag. We move around about every 3 months, and this was the first time I had an issue with changing my location. I initially met with Kim, who truly did try, but to no avail. Kim tried to reach the manager, but was not available at the time. What I did NOT appreciate, was the trainer's comments, "Relax, don't get upset, go sort your business." I not once elevated my voice, nor did I demean anyone.I DID frown when I was told I couldn't get on the elliptical for 20min and deal with this later. With my schedule, it's really difficult to find time and I was already there. I left disappointed. I got in my car, and called the last PF I went to in PA. Nichole Ross and Allie were VERY helpful. Go figure, its PA. Customer Service is far better in PA than TX.Nonetheless, I did what they instructed and went back in. It was then that I met with Pedro who quickly and effortlessly resolved my issue.

This is really a "for everybody" gym. I can honestly say I do appreciate this facility. It's like the McDonald's of the gym world. Always affordable, never too behind in equipment. They take care of their equipment. And staff is nice and the amenities are standard and pretty good.I came back to this gym yesterday after bring gone for over two years, at Golds Gym. More of a serious gym but not worth the price when you factor in that they removed the pool, some equipment is not functioning and it's always too packed. Well planet fitness app is really cool and will show you the crowd levels live and predictions, so I can avoid that issue easily! So that's really cool and it even shows you how to use the machine..So all and all, definitely give this a shot even if you are a more serious gym shark, it's worth it especially with the affordability and perks to the membership! Try it!

Month after they persuaded me to make "black membership" - all massage chairs disappeared. OK, I understand, construction.However, also water cooler disappeared. They placed some temporal water bin, however, without cups. When I asked the service to give me some cup, I was denied, instead of they told me that I may buy water from them. Unacceptable for the gym!
