Planet Fitness

So I joined a month ago and it was great that I felt safe to workout while wearing a mask. I try to only come at times of low capacity. It seemed as though everyone was adhering to the guidelines...now fast forward today 60% of people werent wearing masks. No one at PF was enforcing the guidelines and defeats the purpose and branding that masks are required to workout. Its ridiculous and there's an active disregard for the health and safety of others. There was even a girl training near me that coughed and sneezed 🤧 without her mask on. If you don't care for your own safety during this time while Corona is on the rise and mutating this is the gym for you.

Great staff and very welcoming. I would not say all planet fitness is a place I would choose to lift but I do love this place. The manager is a body builder and understands what it takes to be an athlete.

I will say I worked for planet fitness in Tomball Tx and we keep everything clean and it always smelled clean and brand new, I work at Golds Gym now in Round Rock and I would love to work with planet fitness again and help out with the issues you are having and hopefully make a difference. I love the gym and working out. Am going to fill out an application now.

This is one of the best kept secrets of Round Rock. It decided to go with them for the price even though there is no pool. It is close to my house. I love that everything is so clean and the showers are great. Look forward to my before work routine now!

I do a lot the traveling and so I have a Planet Fitness membership because it's easier and they tend to be everywhere. I live in Colorado so I usually have a 24 Hour Fitness but Planet Fitness makes things a lot easier when I'm traveling. One thing that I definitely like about Planet Fitness is how clean they keep their gym. You always see somebody working or cleaning something throughout the workout or throughout the day.

In general, I love Planet Fitness. I've been a member since before they opened their doors at the Round Rock location. I'm very disppointed today, though. I haven't been going to the gym since they reopened because they weren't requiring masks. Yesterday I noticed that their website said masks were required at all times, so I went this morning. When I arrived, I was told that people are allowed to pull their masks down while exercising. When I mentioned that the website says they are required, I was told that since we're in Williamson County, they are not required.

Just an update on my review. What a breath of fresh air Leo Sanchez has been. I am very thankful that the negative personnel is no longer at this facility. The trainer could be more friendly. He always seems angry. Thank you Leo for incorporating such nice people who know the meaning of customer service. Big shout out to Matt! What a good ambassador for the club!!

The Planet Fitness website states, "to adhere to local guidelines, masks are required to be worn at all times." This is not even close to being true at the Round Rock location. Not only are half the people not wearing a mask, the sanitation materials put out by staff have been dwindling over the past few months. There used to be cleaning spray and hand sanitizer and many cleaning stations all over the gym, but when they are running out they are not all getting replaced. Several containers were missing for weeks on end. Paper towels dispensers aren't being refilled, rather rolls are being put on to of the cleaning stations where patrons have to pick up or handle the roll just to year paper off. This is a pretty awful practice for a "cleaning station".There is also no kind of dress code enforcement anymore. Not a personal problem to me but I know Planet Fitness prides itself on being a "safe place" for people with self-esteem issues, so it isn't upholding that principle either.This place did a good job when it first opened back up after the shutdowns, but it has gone downhill gradually.

I've been a Black Card member for over 10 yrs and love it. They have all the equipment you need to keep fit. I love that I can go to any club in the USA. I even visited the PF in Fairbanks, Alaska! It's worth it!

Staff is mediocre. I’ve been to other planet fitnesses with better night crews.But gym equipment is kept clean and they always seem to be busy so I guess that’s the trade off. Between the hours of 9pm-12am it’s always minimally packed. Not a bad gym but not a memorable one. 5 stars for meeting expectations and basic cleaning. Locker rooms are in order and the paper towels/ sanitizers are always stocked when I’m there.
