24 Hour Fitness

Fairly clean gym and no broken equipment. Friendly staff and locker rooms are fairly clean. Much better gym than the Livermore 24. Livermore is dirty and lots of broken equipment.....very sad. Livermore used to be top of the line. San Ramon is a far better gym.

I don’t know how often 24 hour fitness San Ramon reads these reviews but I hope they read mine. Just a couple minutes ago, my wife and I comes out here to get a workout in before we start work. My wife wanted to buy a C4 Energy Drink for $4.68. There’s a white sticky note that says “No bills above $20”. I tried to hand the worker $5 cash and I told him to keep the change. He said “Do you have a card?” I politely said no. Only cash right now. Then he stared at me with a “WTF” look like “Really man, you don’t have a card” when I know for a fact, when I scan myself in using the 24 GO app, he can see that I have a annual subscription that requires a CARD to pay online. So my wife and I ended up going to the Safeway down the street of the gym to get a TWO C4 energy drinks for only $4. My opinion for people working at this gym at night. If you are lazy and you hate your job, find another place to work. I hope the manager of this gym sees my review. I didn’t get his name but he always works when my wife and I checks in at midnight hours. He’s always lack of energy. Lack of enthusiasm. Stands like he doesn’t want to work. Also, next time, if you need a CARD to buy a drink, then let us know first before giving us a attitude.However, besides the lazy and rude workers at the front desk that works at night, this gym is fabulous. Very spacious and clean every time my wife and I comes here.

Like most people have commented and apparently nothing really changes. Gym is great, big, plenty of equipment. However, it's dirty, cardio equipment is dusty, sweat spots, sauna is dirty, black spots on the floor, that needs to change, dont want to end up with mold or bacteria in the sauna of all places. And please add paper towel to bathroom, doesn't make any sense to not have paper towel in bathrooms at a gym.

Friendly staff and lots of options however this facility is always so dirty, dust under all equipment and the bathrooms are disgusting, Never in a millions years would I go in spa area or shower there. I am surprised the health department has not been called considering post pandemic you would think gyms should be impeccably clean. Hopefully this changes in the future.

As a super sport center, amenities are great. It has a wide variety of high quality strength equipment, very spacious interior (2 floors), 5 lane swimming pool, steamed room, sauna, jacuzzi. Rooms for improvement:1. Water fountain next to men's bathroom on bottom floor has been out for a long time.2. Outdoor spa was closed. Now it is open. However, water is only slightly warmer than room temperature. The heating element probably isn't functioning properly.3. Water temperature of the swimming pool is not consistent. There was one night water was particularly colder than usual.4. Occasional hair on floor surrounding the swimming pool.5. I have not seen staff at check-in area actually walking around the gym looking for problems to fix.

Ever since they upgrade this entire gym, it has been an all time favorite in the bay ( far away from the city ) but if you live anywhere in the east bay do yourself a massive favor and drive here till you get sick of the people. New machines massive area clean decent staff

Group exercise class workouts are particularity challenging with the requirement to wear a mask! Really nice gym.

NO working security cameras in the parking lot ( a manager did proudly confirm when I asked). So, don't expect help if your car is swiped, broken in, or stuffs get stolen from your car. TRUE FACTS, if you don't believe, ask them !

Enough is enough. It's time to open the gym longer. Stop using covid-19 for an excuse. The place is full at closing time. The longer it's open the more we can socially distance. It's 24 hour fitness not sometimes fitness.

Sauna thermometer hasn't been functional for months. Patrons don't follow posted rules, as they're not enforced. Is no longer open 24 hours, but charges the same monthly price.
