24 Hour Fitness

Poor redesign. Equipment layout is horrible and not intuitive. Chest equipment for example is spread on opposite side of the building which is huge. Machine flys and bench are a full football field apart. I would highly recommend 24 hour redesign layout at this location with some better thought behind it.

I will add to my review of two years ago to state that there is NO EXCUSE for the pool being closed with zero notification to anyone. I checked the website about half an hour before class today, and there was no indication of a problem. Along with many other clients, I got into my car and drove to the facility, only to discover a sign indicating that the wet area was closed for cleaning. If management had sufficient times to print the signs, they could have certainly cancelled the class on the online schedule. Even the course instructor was unaware. She too arrived believing that she had a pool in which to teach her class. Lame management and general inconvenience for everyone else.I've been a member for two years and am less than happy with three issues. First, the trash scattered around the enormous parking lot is a terrible eyesore. In addition to parking spaces that are too small, the trash cans are generally overflowing and the pavement and grass littered with additional garbage. Secondly, maintenance is sub-par. A shower in the women's locker room has been backed up and overflowing into the corridor for MORE THAN A WEEK. I know they are aware of the problem because several members have reported it. Eight days and nothing has been done. Thirdly, the person who schedules the aqua aerobics classes is not very capable. We have had some instructors not show because their classes were "cancelled" and others double booked for more than one club location at the same time. It's not cool when 30-40 people show up for a class and find they have no instructor. Management needs to get its act together and correct these problems.

Was better, but they apparently have no care for people who like the heavy bags and got rid of them. They also don't have a turf field like other locations.

Bathrooms are often filthy, especially the showers. There is also a problem with class students sign ups. They have pass policy butbteachers don’t collect passes and it’s rarely enforced.

probably one of the best 24s i have been too Super Sports are using a lot of hoist equipment which is kind of garbage but this location has a good mix and has hammer strength Not a real hard core bodybuilding gym, but will do the job 24 because of all the locations and the hours is probably the best gym deal around

Best 24 in the area, but it has a really bad smell on the left side. Not sure why this is ok with management. If you don't mind the smell it's a great gym.

Pros - Great place since its close by.. Good Variety of equipment.. Cons - always busy unless you want to go at 0200.. Cars are frequently broken into in their parking lot, as mine was last year and the management and staff could care less.. They refused to even take my calls on the matter.. They've overcharged my card on a few occasions and it feels like I have to explain basic math to them every time so they can fix it.

They basically rearranged everything to leave a completely empty and useless place upstairs. Free weights are now cramped to one small section of entire gym. Probably will go to Fitness 19 or 24 hour Pleasanton location moving forward.

Plenty of parking and no waiting for weights past 9PM. I’ve been going here weekly for years and always have a good experience - people are always very polite and patient, and the staff are very receptive and friendly. Protip: buy the two-year membership through Costco, it’s way way cheaper than month-to-month.

So they did a remodel and stopped the towel service. Not all the new equipment is covered in sweat. It is quite a putrid place now. I asked if they were going to do a rate change as a membership to this gym is higher as it is a Super Sport. They said no. So less service plus same rates equals my cancelation. I do not suggest you waste your money here. Fitness 19 is literally 1/3 the price for what is now the same value.
