Signed up at UFC big mistake reps there are planet fitness easy and straight forward. I'm very satisfied

After joining PF Costa Mesa and not being very happy there I started looking at other locations. PF in SA is the best large, clean and a very friendly staff. #1 in my book.

This place is great! First gym I've attended and not leaving! Their staff is really friendly and helpful!

Arriving into the gym on a Friday at 7:15pm to enroll into planet fitness, was greeted by one very very helpful young lady by the name of (estefania) very smart and very friendly she fill my application within mins. As well gave me the run down on what planetfitness is all about, within 7 mins all my information was ready to go wasitng no time for me to work out, arrive to the the treadmill they were clean spotless actually, every machine I used was on point worked perfectly and had T.V, I am coming from a boxing gym/ MMA gym so it was a breath of fresh air to go into a location that body's the idea of you been the best you can be, however if i may add I wish there was punching bags or jump rope (but for 20.00 a month I really shouldn't be complaing) after spending almost 2 hours in the gym (without me not noticing) it felt good that I signed up to this location.If you live near the area and need to work out and find a friendly energetic place to just better your self I highly recommend planetfitness.

I i could give it zero stars i would but i have to pick at least one. Totally disappointed i paid my membership but everytime i go theres one of the workers that always has his eyes on me like a CREEP. So everytime he makes me feel uncomfortable i leave i only last a good 10 minutes before i get mad and leave dont know his name but he was in today when i went at 3:00. Im pretty sure he stares at all the girls needs new employees that are not perverted. Other than that evrything is pretty kool

Clean and new, but time will tell if it stays that way. Drinking fountains are weak! Hours suck Friday through Sunday. You shouldn't close so dang early on those days!UPDATE 6/8: Staff never organize the weights. I've only seen them do it at closing, which of course doesn't do us any good. Because the dumbbells are often placed back incorrectly, you have to really look and make sure you've picked up the correct pair. A few days ago I picked up a pair that were labeled 65lbs on the rack. I didn't realize until I did my set that one of them was 70lbs! This is really maddening. And because they only have one rack of dumbbells, they will often be taken during busy times. They should add a second rack!Also, I really wish they took some open hours, say 2am -4am during the week and applied them to Saturday and Sunday nights. Closing at 7pm on those days is a joke. And who works out at 3am? It makes no sense (other than for marketing) to be open then.

The gym will be open in August 2016(no date as of yet)..... $1 Down to Join (until further notice).... Ill be back to add another review about this location later this year. I'm hoping to bring you guys a great review.... Lets see what happens!

Signed up for $10 month $1 sign up fee membership not realizing gym wasn't open yet. Was initially told that deal was ending on July14 but now I see it has been extended until August 15. Have already been billed despite using any of the facilities. Wanted to see if I can transfer my membership to a different location in the meantime but I can't reach anyone at the number listed. Since these are franchised I'm probably s.o.l so I'll more than likely just cancel.

Rude staff. I came in tonight to ask about membership but did not realize that it was about a minute to closing time. The guy who appears to be in charge literally shooed me away. I told him that I just needed some info, maybe a flyer about membership to which he curtly answered, "I can answer a quick question" then quickly rattled off some figures that did not match what was in the flyer that the lady behind the counter gave me. I would have happily returned the following day if they would have handled the situation nicely. You guys just lost a customer.
