Worst gym I’ve ever been too I have full membership where you can allegedly take guest but after they harass your guest constantly. Mark who is an assistant general manager will harass your guest repeatedly trying to make his sales even after they say no numerous times. What kind of manager is that? I mean what’s the point of trying to take a guest this gym only cares about sales and could care less about its customers. If he wants to make more money then find a better paying job simple as that.

Been going to this gym five days a week for two months, closest one to me. Planning on canceling my membership because:1.) Locker rooms, steam room and showers are biohazard. I find the same trash in the lockers like chewing gums, stains and dust from *days ago*. Razors in the showers. I have to select the least dirty locker. Missing hangers and shelves in some lockers. Swimming pool seems to be hyper-chlorinated and/or badly ventilated. Toilets and urinals are always absolutely DISGUSTING.2.) AC sucks, *especially in the locker rooms* where it seems to be practically absent. There's fewer humidity in the greenhouses of the Chicago Botanic Garden. Often when you enter the gym, a stinking cocktail of humidity, sweat, sweaty socks and stale air hits you in the nose.3.) They rush to sign you up without making clear all the restrictions that apply, especially in their guest policy. Your guest cannot use the swimming pool or basketball room, you find out later. How arrogant is that given all the money they leech off members while providing you with the low quality of worn out equipment and lack of basic hygiene?! Their solution? "I can offer you a deal for $10 for the first month blah-blah." Insulting, unprofessional, trashy. Your guest is their next prey, not a future client to be impressed.4.) Some of the equipment is clearly in need of repair or renewal. For example, two of the cable machines' weigh plates are so worn off they're illegible. One cable is longer than another. No elastic bands. Barely any safety clips - ironically TV videos encourage you to always use them. Not enough lighter dumbbells when most people clearly use the 10-40 lbs range, not the dust-collecting 80-120+lbs. Mats look ancient and dirtier than floor; could in the new Indiana Jones movie. Abs crunch machine lost its rubber covers on the handles a long time ago. Often there's no paper or cleaning liquid to wipe the machines, or the paper dispenser gets jammed. Etc.5.) Used-cars-salesman-like shark is interested only in throwing bait at you and your guest while trying to save you the devil in the details. Very pushy, bordering on absolutely annoying. Business model is on trapping people into membership, not on developing and impressing with quality. Neglect.I feel sorry for some of the people working there. I don't blame them for looking unhappy. I would. But others such as the salesmen are outright mood killers for trying to bargain as if it's the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul.I didn't know that the "X" in Xsport stood for all these surprises. The shareholders and corporate management need to realize that the toxic combination of declining quality, unhappy or unprofessional staff, and policy tricks guarantee locations such as this a downward spiral and client migration to competitors.No, Xsport, sending you an email doesn't solve the obvious problems this place is infested with and you have been informed about several times by different people over a long period of time. Issues that shouldn't be there in the first place. Your Xsport clientele will become your ex-clientele.I recommend avoiding this place and spending your precious bucks on a place of quality. I intend to do so too.

Place is a joke, Mark is RUDE, harassing and con man. Val is the new GM and just as worse... I’m sitting here listening to them lie to a couple about the price and EVEN WORSE... they stand around and laughed at how they CON’D the couple. This Place is a sales hungry establishment and only a matter of time before they are on the news for undercover crimes. They are harassing and lying people and joke after they get you to sign up. “I totally Messed up and he still bought it” the exact words of the worker. I have a Recording and all this place.... is a trashy, sexist, condescending, lazy personnel having establishment.They have a system for guests (To harass you) but no towels, no basketballs for the court, no punching bags, the AC doesn’t work it REEKS of odor and piss and garage is a robbery waiting to happen whenever the employees aren't sneaking of or eating lunch at their desk ALL ON VIDEO.... this place is a Joke. Next step expose.Management save your business now and your time rather then writing on here send a decoy and watch mark flirt with every woman that walks in... and follow her.

I have been at this x sport for 3 years now and have noticed a huge decline in the upkeep of this facility in the last 6 months or so. Equipment is broken for weeks and weeks on end. The bathrooms are utterly disgusting (mens stall has had a ring of feces on the underside of toilet rim for well over two weeks now), showers are grimy and walls are covered in slime and mold and clearly haven’t been cleaned in months. The steam room has been broken for 2 weeks now (when it is “working” doesn’t get nearly hot enough as it should). After this month I am planning on cancelling my membership and switching to another gym unless some of these issues are addressed. This place has been completely neglected for 6 months. I cannot in good conscience recommend this facility to ANYONE it is a waste of money and a health hazard.

I'm a new member, one month. Schaumburg club is disgusting and in disrepair. Clearly, it's neglected. If things don't change, I will cancel my membership and demand a full refund. Stair climbers- one is still broken. Last time, three out of 5 or 6 stair climbers were not working. Sauna- Not hot enough. It takes 30 mins in there to get a sweat. You should be heating up and only be in a sauna for 10-15 mins at a time (if it is working properly). Steam room- the temperature/steam valve is broken. It was never hot enough, then one day it was extremely hot. Could not be in there for more than 2 mins, was burning our skin. We had to prop the door open. Steam room should be in there for 10-12 mins if it's working properly. Womens locker room- disgusting, dirty, not stocked. No paper towels, no toilet paper, no body wash. Steam room and showers utterly filthy. The walls are covered with slime or mold..just repulsive. Showers- water temperature not working. While taking a ten min shower the water changes from scolding hot to ice cold every 30 seconds. Three or four of the showers are actually broken/not working properly. The amount of filth, disrepair, and neglect in this club is shocking! This is unacceptable and a complete was of my money. I want these fixed asap!! I have always told the employees about all of these issues, they clearly dont care. They are just young people that stand around chatting and just shrug their shoulders and say ok when i mentioned issues to any of them. Nothing has been done. This club needs new mgmt. You cannot just take people's money and not offer the service that you claim you have! If something is broken, fix it! If something is dirty, clean it! Should I not pay for the days that things are broken and dirty? When I signed up for a membership, it came with a clean club and functioning eqiupment and sauna,steam rooms. Oh and the towels they provide are repulsive. They are dingy and smell and are dirty. I would like to see if Xport Schaumburg does anything to remedy these problems. Other members have mentioned these same concerns in the reviews and I see that Xsport responds and directs them to call customer service. I have also emailed Xsport and will be calling them as well. I will update to this post. Lets see if they do anything.

I have been a member here for approx 3 years. When I started it was much better but has gone downhill since. The locker room and showers are an absolute armpit. Filthy. I have not had hot water in the shower more than once a week so for the past three weeks since I started coming back to this location. Ditto the bathrooms. The locker room has zero amenities, no tissue, no swabs, nothing. The towers are postage stamp brillo pads. Even the equipment on the floor feels dirty; the cardio machines, the weight benches, etc. The gym itself is pretty well equipped but the general dirtiness of the place overall is a real buzzkill.

I originally signed up for the basic membership and their sales guy punked me into a promotion they had without giving me ALL necessary details. I was completely misinformed, scammed, and robbed out of $100s of dollars. I went through corporate, but they were just as bad. All these people care about are sales, and they'll misinform you to the max to get your money. Xsport overall isn't an awful gym, but this location needs a complete sweep of all current employees who don't know anything about customer service or the services they're selling you.

It's 24/7 and a great place to work out any time of the day with ample parking friendly receptionist.Occasionally sauna goes down. Well, considering the multiple options of activities being offered it's quite economical on the pocket. Perhaps beware of the personal fitness sessions it can rip off your pocket. A happy customer in the end.

I am going to be completely honest this gym dose offer a lot in regards to equipment, space, and most of their staff are really helpful, understanding, and in a positive mood for the most part. Aside from that there are a few areas that i feel this facility specifically falls short in. Two things id like to point out is the facility is not as clean as it can be (mirrors in front of squat racks especially) , also i would advise that Xsport really explain to their employees the value of costumer service. I have recently had an unpleasant experience with i believe the manager of the beauty salon section. I was doing something that i was NOT aware was not allowed to do and the way she approached me was very disrespectful and unprofessional. It really caught me off guard. As a person that works with clients in a professional setting i really believe she could have handled this situation better.

My go to gym as it is the only location that has the monkey bars and turf in my area. Love the variety of weights, cables and machines. Appreciate that it is 24/7 because it can get really packed during the weekdays when everyone gets out of work. Overall clean especially in the locker rooms. It would be great if the staff did a better job putting away the plates since sometimes I would have to walk to the opposite part of the free weights / machines to get the plate I want while risking losing my machine to someone else. Would also be great if the medicine balls were put away in their racks and not tossed up on top of the monkey bars, as it makes it difficult to use and I run the risk of hitting another person with said medicine balls when I jab them down.
