The Crunch Fitness gym at First Colony Commons offers an inviting environment with a range of state-of-the-art equipment. Members can enjoy various fitness amenities, including a sauna and hydro massage chairs. The gym operates 24 hours on select days, making it a convenient option for early birds and night owls alike. However, several reviews highlight consistent issues with cleanliness and customer service, indicating room for improvement in these areas. Despite this, many members appreciate the positive atmosphere and overall value provided by their memberships.

If you're considering Crunch Fitness, it's beneficial to visit during non-peak hours for a more pleasant experience, as it can get quite crowded at times. The gym's staff and management receive mixed feedback, so prospective members are encouraged to tour the facility and interact with the staff before committing. For those who value an extensive selection of equipment and flexible hours, Crunch Fitness could be a good fit, but cleanliness and service issues need to be weighed in your decision.

As always, decent gym for fair price. 3D body scans are cool and private. As for peak hrs I think it's crazy how much waiting around people must do for equipment.

Great place. Inexpensive but very nice. Staff is awesome. Management, especially "E" are awesome. "E" pretty much runs the place and he is super helpful and friendly. The entire gym kind of has a family feel to it. Highly recommend.

The men’s bathroom is always a mess. Bring your own toilet paper because they’re always out and be prepared to clean up any stall you end up needing to use. Also might want to throw hand soap in your bag. Pretty gross to think no one is washing their hands simply because they never have any soap.

cool gym but machines have been broke for over a month now and it's getting out of hand. 3 essential machines gone. and most of the good machines only have 1. 1 hack squats, 1 leg press, 1 pec fly but good thing is we still can't use the cycle room

This is a back-up gym I use. It’s is priced fairly and offers new equipment. The gym is limited with some weight equipment, but overall gets the job done. Cardio machines are clean and have a large selection of them. The locker room is clean with a dry sauna and showers. Bring your own towel, soap and shampoo as it’s not provided. The gym also offers tanning and use of Hydrochairs for post workout with upgraded memberships. They are lenient on guest policy too as long as waiver is signed.

Relatively nice facility, just about a year old now. Equipment is new and always seems to be in working order. Cleanliness is average on the gym floor (could be better), the ceiling however leaks in several places and has deluged on me in the past while mid-squat which is a total turn off. My biggest complaint however is the behavior of a large chunk of the clientele at this gym. It is FULL of pre-pubescent high schoolers trying to get the perfect angle of their workout on their barrage of video cameras. I mean literally tripods everywhere. Dudes walking around shirtless, people sitting on their butts on their phones all day and management either doesn’t notice or could care less. Frankly the most obnoxious gym environment I’ve ever worked out in. Gym has potential but needs some structure.

Don't know where to begin with this garbage gym. Starting with the reception staff, most of them are untrained and know nothing about their own policies. I tried canceling my membership in September and was told initially that my last day was October 23rd. Came in the first week of October and a manager told me I was done in September and I would be charged again for the month. Third time I was stopped mid October and they confirmed that I would be done at the last day of October. Now the manager "Jayy" says I'm done 10 days before? I basically paid for October but have to forfeit the last 10 days, doesn't make any sense at all. Also, you'll get hit with their yearly maintenance fee as soon as you sign up. This gym doesn't even offer half the amenities of other gyms like 24 hour fitness but they close early and charge similar pricing. There is a severe lack of equipment here as well compared to similar gyms. Some machines were also out of service for over a month at a time. Still have the same broken mirror in front of the squat racks for months. They say there is Wi-Fi but the Wi-Fi will never connect, reception is terrible here so good luck getting internet for music. Save the headache and go to a better gym, because this one is just here to rip you off.

I’ve only visited twice but as of now it’s sitting at two stars. The gym itself is nice. It’s my second time actually getting a membership for a gym but I feel as if they have more than enough great equipment to help you reach your desired goals.I signed up online to take advantage of the special they were offering for 11 cents (can’t really beat that).Con: My first day was a little confusing and the front desk wasn’t helpful at all. I’m huge on customer service and it was just non-existent if you ask me. I was sent over for training session before I was even shown the facility or told about the amenities or classes they have to offer. I wasn’t shown how to set my account up in order to scan in or anything that you’d expect as a newcomer literally anywhere. Now that I know there’s an app, I’m going through it and I’ve still trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong because I can’t book any classes even though I have the all access membership.Pro/ Con My training session was nice and my trainer Oscar was cool and seems legit. I actually signed up for personal training 2x a week but ended up changing it to once a week after the lack of customer service. My membership is month to month and the sessions require you to sign up for 90 days which I’m not sure if I’ll be there for that long. Derek helped sign me up for training and he was hilarious… and nice of course.Update: I decided to cancel all together just because I don’t think it’s the gym for me. I was told it was too late to cancel even though a payment hadn’t been taken and I had not done any training yet. I read through the document that was signed and it doesn’t have a cancellation policy in place and I guess I should’ve asked to see the contract prior to signing ( it’s kind of read over to you and the signature pad is on the opposite side). My suggestion would be to be 100% sure you want to stay committed to this gym before signing up because it’s not as easy to just walk away.Pros : Their daycare / child watch is a great benefit. Brooke was so sweet and my daughter loved being in there even though she’s older.Con: I left my wireless headphones case and didn’t realize until I got home. I checked to see if was turned in but wishful thinking. Now someone is the proud owner of an empty case… so keep up with your belongings because you may not get them back.

Great place to work out. I enjoy the equipment and that it is not crowded and very clean gym. Some of the people that work at the front desk speak and say hello and some barely speak which is only 50% customer service. A couple of the trainers always are friendly. I am hoping that at least two clocks can be placed in the gym that are easy to see. I have never been to a gym that doesn't have a clock. I am also hoping that the Management of the gym would at least speak to ALL members to promote a friendly atmosphere.

So far so good. Clean and organized. I can see equipment sharing being a problem as this location gains traction. Some of the machines only have two them. For example, there's only one leg press machine.I left Fitness Connection in Mission Bend because it was such a mess. But it was 3x the size of this location. Take a tour of this place if you are thinking of switching. It's a smaller gym. I suggest also getting in the habit of coming early to avoid waiting for equipment.Staff is nice. Bathrooms clean. My biggest complaint, the sanitation stations are limited and just wipes. I kinda prefer the spray. The wipes are kinda dry and you need a lot to get the job done.
