I try not to interact with the staff if I don’t have to. Polite and professional etiquette is often lacking.“ hey, what’s up bud ... have a nice day bud... “ the guy at the front desk says to me in a loud and course way.So 24 hour Corp office doesn’t expect staff to be professional ? It just goes to show how the Corp office runs things.This facility is newer and nicer than the other ones. But I was surprised there was no steady hot water in the showers .

Best place and best choice I have made in joining this gym. I've only been a member for about a month. I cannot emphasize enough on the professionalism with the staff and front desk. They are courteous, attentive, compliant with COVID-19, they always acknowledge you when you enter and leave and are very pleasant. They keep this place in tact. I cannot express how happy I am obtaining a membership. Someone I would like to praise specifically is team member, ROBERTO aka ROBBY! When I called amonth ago to inquire about enrollment, he was informative and patient answering all my questions. This gym is enormous, lots of equipment, many sanitation stations for your convenience around the gym, bathrooms are always clean as well as the common areas.One thing I would like to ask gym members, please throw away your paper towels after you wipe down. Just recently in the last 2 weeks, I noticed some members become very sloppy. I go to use the next machine and its almost been daily that I see members leave their used paper towels behind on the floor. We all use the gym bros, so let's continue to look after it and clean up after ourselves, this isn't your own personal gym. Next time I see someone leave their trash behind at their machine, I won't hesitate to let them know to pick up after themselves. Otherwise, thank you to all the staff at 24hour fitness who keep this place running smooth.

Great gym with really nice equipment. They have a basketball court and a swimming pool inside. Locker rooms etc. Gets really busy between 4:30PM-7:00PM. Go in the morning before 7am and you gonna have more space to yourself if you don't like waiting for equipment :)

I would give 0 star if I could. THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE!!! Someone broke into my locker and stole all my stuff (around $4000) when I was doing my workout. Everything happened within one hour. Of course the staff can do nothing about it. Police said they got over 10 reports every week regarding this 24 and the one in Fremont, and they can barely get things back. The surveillance camera at the entrance is useless. Look at the previous reviews, apparently the thief could ask the front desk to 'help' them open a locked locker, no id verification is needed. Someone even got his car stolen after key stolen from the locker. BE CAREFUL ABOUT YOUR BELONGINGS WHEN YOU GO HERE!

I'm staying in this area for work for 2 months and I am very happy with this gym. Mario is amazing in the morning. The gym is always clean in the am. My first day here Mario realized I was new and introduced himself. He asked if I needed anything and then remembered my name each day after that. I work in hospitality and Mario is top notch. He remembers all the guests name and is constantly checking on people. Thank you Mario!

They solicit 5 stars. Equipment are good to give them one star out of 5 but other things suck! Like bathrooms are dirty and you will see shorts, soap scum, hair and all kinds of dirty stuff there because they are not monitored till the end of the night. Front desk very careless and unprofessional and the place not worth the price. You don't go to gym for just the equipment, right?!

(07/06/19)Downgrading my review further to 1 star. I'd give them 1/2 if I could. Staff is indifferent, you better watch your back there since if anything is stolen from you, not only can they do nothing about it (that's a given, we all know that petty theft is tolerated even by law enforcement), they will act like it and even more so, they dismiss you like a pest (basically pouring salt on your wound with their indifference). Decent gym and equipment but not the safest and certainly not the friendliest. I rarely go here anymore and largely split my time between the Arquez Location (the BEST staff) and the Mountain View Location (safer).Also I agree with many others that the standard of cleanliness at high traffic times (7-9pm) just isn't there. Bathrooms are straight disgusting. They need to have the staffing doing their self proclaimed "Team Cleans" more often.... I hear them announce it on the intercom but I don't see it being done with much vigor or enthusiasm. All goes back to customer service: the staff TOP-BOTTOM seem like they'd rather be anywhere else but there. I echo many folks' sentiments here regarding the management here. They don't manage, and they don't care.One final point about removing the towel service: everybody knows it's not for the environment since someone has to wash the towels - and clean people who go to a dirty gym will wash them after 1X use - so the towel washing will continue and it will harm the environment and consume the resources of mother earth just the same, only difference now is that the COST will be PASSED ON to the customer. The marketing people could have at least made their reasoning seem less ridiculous and more sincere in their print ads by encouraging members not to wash towels at home after at least two uses!(10/25/18)Downgrading my review to 2 stars from 4. Staff was not very helpful and I swear my bag got stolen from my locker on the night of 10/25/18...but how? It mystifies me, what happened to it? I am very particular keeping my things in order. I returned the following day to speak with management because I really felt like the staff felt genuinely inconvenienced by my request to have them check their Lost & Found. The Interim manager listed to my feedback but also seem a bit inconvenienced. I was happy she took 5 minutes to listen though. Customer focus I think is a key value for 24-Hr fitness corporate: so far I have not seen demonstrable evidence of this @ the Sunnyvale location by the folks at the front-desk. One thing I was super appreciative of though was the surprising empathy and honesty I was greeted with by of one of the service people doing the towel cleaning. She actually informed me that theft happens all the time at this location (I did not know this before then) and that she was sorry that it happened to me! I think she should be running the location! :-)(Pre-2018)One of the better 24s in the Bay Area, I like the cleanliness of the facility overall and the newness of the workout mats. Wish other 24s would follow suit. One thing I really wish management would do is rip out the carpet in the front where you walk in, it's gross and would be better served as the normal rubber material that covers the rest of the workout floor given it's frequent use as a stretching, sit-up etc space by myself and others.
