I literally joined this gym over other less expensive gyms solely for the sauna and it is out of service. I hope this isn't a common trend.

The pool is small and has its issues like any other pool. But it smells far better than the Y

Good fitness center and the Sauna is nice. Only thing I don't like is the TVs directly in front of some of the cardio equipment.

Indoor pool, lots of equipment currently renovation going on.

Changed my contract due to covid. The reason I joined was so I can bring a guest and use the daycare. No more daycare fine. But now my guest has to pay $7.00 for every visit. All while I get 10 dollars off my original bill. Just not properly operated. They don't call and ask on how they will adjust it they say just say "oh well read the fine print." You can't even question them without them looking at you like your the one in the wrong.

I have never been a gym person, but after Covid I really needed to get in shape. I signed up for personal training at Elevate and was paired with Aaron. He has made a huge difference for me. I look forward to our training sessions, he's so knowledgeable and kind and pushes me right to my limit. He has honestly made working out enjoyable for me, and I can see results already. Thanks Aaron!

My girlfriend was harassed by a member by the name of Dave, the trainer named John was the one to “handle” the situation and practically dismissed it because the two workers who were there when it happened no longer worked there. He called the harasser Dave “quirky” and said his hands are tied because he was a long time member. His money is clearly worth more than 2 other members. We won’t be returning and I recommend younger woman should steer clean of this establishment. I’ve watched this happen far more times than Id like to say. The Y is cheaper and just as good. Save your money and choose a more comfortable environment.

Elevate Fitness operates using predatory business practices in terms of their billing procedures. They say they care about their customers, but their actions indicate otherwise. When you call for manager, they are always busy. If you do get a return call, it is way past the acceptable 24 hr. call back.All questions regarding billing discrepancies are met with a. “our billing agency cannot issue refunds,” or b. “you should have read the fine print.” Both are excuses and/ or tone deaf. Neither are acceptable solutions for a company that claims to care about the people they serve and the feedback they give.What do I mean by predatory?Maybe a month-to-month member who joins, pays the annual fee, but decides not to stay. Result: they’re out the full annual fee. Why not break that fee up and include it into the monthly membership cost? If a member stays, the gym still receives the same annual fee amount just broken up over the span of 12 months.Oh, and the requirement for 30 days’ notice when you cancel your membership. If someone wants to cancel, just let them and stop billing them. Period. Don’t be the company that goes for a cash grab – be the company that knows how to listen to feedback and operates honestly and with transparency. Need more feedback? Check your other reviews regarding these same issues instead of acting like it’s the first time you’ve heard it.

Absolutely the best gym in Syracuse. Lots of amenities. Sauna, whirlpool, 3 lane swimming pool, free weights, machines, and tons more. I used to be a member at the Liverpool location and was really happy with the cleanliness of that location, and the DeWitt location has yet to let me down in that dept as well. What I really want to commend this business for is its staff. Those folks are always there to answer any and all questions we may have. They're kind, courteous and down to earth and Always striking conversation. Moving back to Elevate was the best decision for myself and family.
