Update 2023 FebEnded contract with the Gym. Paid my last paying in Fall of last year. I saw in January payment was being taken out. I had already cancelled my account and was told that I had paid everything.Been going to this gym for over a year and recently starting taking the classes. I became a premium member at this gym and that is when the issues started. The business seems to have issues with providing excellent customer service. My class was canceled and rescheduled the same day but when I got to the the class no one was actually there. No one called to let me know class was cancelled or being rescheduled. I received a notification via email it was cancel. The class was scheduled for 2pm and it showed up in the app. I received and email from I for at urge fitness saying they were perplexed by me saying my class was canceled and rescheduled at 2pm. There was no effort to even research where the 2pm class would have came from. I did not schedule the 2pm class the company did. Also if there are no 2pm classes on Saturday it should not be listed on the app. There seems to be communication issues. Instead of calling to clarify the issue they would rather go back and forth with me via email.

It’s the worst experience I had ever done, I made a membership and after 2 months I had to cancel it because I had health problems, It’s a long story but now they want me to pay $850 because I went to their gym 4 times and wanted to cancel my membership 🙄🙄🙄, I even tried to contact them many times but they never responded back, I had never seen this treatment from any other company before. My contract said that I have to pay 2 months if I canceled my membership and I didn’t know that til I asked to cancel, even after that I said is ok I will pay 2 months but till I know that you continue ti add fees without any reason, I tried to contact you and send emails to pay 2 months but no one responded back because you want me to pay $850 for nothing

I have now made two attempts to cancel my contract in accordance with the stipulations made in my contract. My dues have always been paid in full and on-time. I hand-delivered a signed and dated cancellation notice and was denied the right to cancel. I read the cancellation policy three times to the attendant behind the counter at the Fairless Hills location (where I initiated the contract), and he read it twice. Each time, I was denied the right to cancel. The general manager approached, leaned over the counter in my face, and yelled at me in an attempt to intimidate me without provocation and said it was after 5 pm and he could not accept the cancellation. It does not specify between the hours of 9am-5pm in my contract, only on their website. I have also sent a signed and dated letter via certified mail with a return receipt request (the other option specified in my contract). I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. It appears after reviewing the BBB website that this is not an isolated incident. I do not feel safe in the establishment after being physically intimidated by the general manager and would never again do business with them again.Again, I handled myself professionally and have upheld the contract and fulfilled both options to cancel, yet you still have failed to comply. Instead, you continue to make up stories and violated our contract. I have always paid in full and on-time. If you read the reviews on BBB and Google, you will notice that this is not an isolated incident and indicates a pattern of misconduct on your company's behalf. I would encourage your company to start acting professionally and uphold your contracts or you will continue to lose more customers.

This Gym is Lousy, After signing on for a pre trial for 30 days by the third week I wanted to cancel because of the poor conditions of the gym, they refused to cancel my membership they told me I was contracted for a year and will have to pay a yearly fee plus the members fees. They scammed me the employee John that signed me on said if I didn’t like the gym I can cancel within 3 weeks. I did and they refused to cancel my membership and I feel so betrayed. Their machines are old and it smells like mold not to mention the energy in this gym smells horrible I can’t stand it their. God help me. Even Crunch or Planet Fitness is better than this stank pod. Also my bank card was compromised recently so the bank card I had on file at urge fitness was compromised and they were unable to debit my account so they threatened to ruin my credit because I didn’t have an updated debit card on file. Words to the wise stay away from this stank hole in the wall in Ewing.

Some are giving one star others five I give it a two for the good and bad of the reviews. It's a good facility and has good classes and good people there. But like the one stars, what I was told about the contract and getting out of it does not line up with the real process. It's hard to get out of. Many loop holes and hoops to jump through. Good gym horrible membership program. I would recommend to them them that they actually make it easier so people leave happier and still give good word of mouth and give good reviews rather than squeeze every last due out of people. I have changed gyms so i can go with my family. Otherwise I would continue to recommend this place to others. But i can't especially since i now have other friends fighting to get out of the contract that is not what is promised at sign up.

My fiancé and I will not rejoin Urge. They charged us an Annual Fee even after memberships were cancelled. They also charged us for 2 additional months even after membership is canceled. It was in our contract but never pointed out to us. Equipment and lockers are not maintained and equipment is outdated. There are many other really good gyms near our new home. We will definitely not join Urge now or ever. Note: We tried to work it out with Urge but they don’t seem to value their members.

I love coming here. I go to Rowan University & there’s an urge out there too so my membership allows me to go when I’m home (Ewing) and when I’m at school. I definitely look forward to going in everyday and seeing staff Emily Smithe. She is very friendly, outgoing and caters to the customers needs.

I love this gym 🥹I get to come at any time & even the aerial yoga classes are A1. I love walking in after dealing w a tough day/life & seeing the white board say something that gives me that extra emotional boost for a bombass workout. Sounds funny, but sometimes you need those words of affirmation.Random, but I hope they add a sauna soon 🥰🤍

This is only based on a phone call not the gym equipment/ facility itself!!!Here for a quick 1 month military mission and was calling around for gym locations near hotel. They were very upfront about their minimum 3 month policy.Only reason for 4 stars is because the flexibility on lower then 3 months was not there. The staff on the phone was still very upfront and polite and did not hide that fact and I appreciate it.

Unethical business practices. Good luck trying to cancel. I pay extra for a no-commiment membership and still cant cancel. All the reviews I can find on different sites have this place rated poorly and Im sure thats why. Otherwise its an ok gym. Good equipment, pretty expensive for what you get but the area doesnt have a lot of options and Im sure they depend on that as a business model.
