I joined urge a while ago but my schedule got busy and I never really found the time to go to the gym, I went to the gym once and actually got RHABDO from working out here after taking 3-4yrs off working out. I also found a new job and am moving. So I went in to cancel my membership I was met with three young ladies at the desk NONE of which were trained to cancel a membership? They said I would have to wait for a trainer “Anthony” to finish talking to a client. After 5-10min he came to me and told me he would not have the time to help me cancel my membership for an hour or more and that I need to go to the post office and send them a certified letter? I said I would not do that and asked if there was a better time or day to come back or if another trainer could help me. He said he didn’t know and showed no willingness to help me figure out a day/time which I could come back and take care of it.I literally have been in fitness my entire life, I’ve been to Lifetime fitness, golds gym, 24-hr fitness, even planet fitness. But this is the first gym I’ve joined where this kind of thing has happened. I used to coach CrossFit I used to train other people at my gym and never would I be as dismissive or as unwilling to work with a paying customer to help them with any need which they may need.Be carful joining this gym the fact that they make it hard to cancel is a red flag that either they use underhanded methods to squeeze dollars from paying customers or that there is a theme of seeing customers as numbers and not people. You guys need to train ALL employees to be able to do something as simple as canceling a membership. It should not be a hard task that gets put on the bottom of the priority list. People have busy lives, I work full time, go to school part time, have a small child in school and caretake his disabled mother as well as being a homeowner I barely have time to breath so I thought going to the gym and canceling would be simple but now my time is wasted and I’m upset because of the way I was treated and talked to.This is not the way to keep customers even if they want to cancel membership. I might of re-joined in the future but after this experience I will definitely not be re-joining once I cancel.

Avoid this place at ALL COSTS. ALL COSTS. Believe all of the negative reviews. The language of the contract is such that if you are not careful you will paying a lot of money. Cancellations still entail payment of 60 days moving forward. Extremely scummy at best. You’re much better off at a flexible gym such as PF or somewhere else. Don’t even waste your time.PLEASE note the way they respond to complaints about their practices as well. Do you REALLY think this is a place with you, the paying customer’s best interests in mind? They call their negative reviewers cry babies over their scummy business practices. It’s a money grab at best. AVOID. If you want a flexible gym this is NOT the one. Do not purchase a membership here.Edit: See exactly what I meant? How is my review fake? Zero customer service skills from this place. Owner can't take criticisms of his business practices

Is this gym perfect? No. Is it acceptable for the membership fee? Absolutely. I will ask please please please look into getting the WiFi fixed.. every time I try to use it it never works and I’ve been stuck using my own data for hours on end. I always see someone cleaning while I’m working out and the members are considerate and pleasant.

I’ve been to many different gyms and this gym by far is my lease favorite. I o my signed with this gym because it was 24/7 access. You walk in and immediately get a face full of stale sweat I know it’s a normal things but it doesn’t smell like other gyms it’s like the smell got stuck in the bamboo trees. I tried to cancel my membership and they were nasty to me about it and told me to just send a certified letter. Understandable but there was no reason to get nasty with me as soon as I said I would like to cancel my membership. I now have an at home gym so there is no need for any more gym memberships.Just seeing how you responded to my review shows how rude and nasty you guys really are at this facility. Thank you for proving my point.

HONEST review coming from a college student... this is a GREAT gym with good staff, good equipment and just in general a CLEAN facility. I have been a member for 3 years but I finally had to pull the plug and cancel my membership because I moved. The cancellation process was supper easy not sure why people complain or give this gym a bad rep when it comes to terminating your membership. Like any gym they have their "60 day cancelation notice" or whatever it is so when you cancel they will still charge you for the next 2 months but I mean it's a business at the end of the day so it is what it is and you can still use the gym during that period. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone who lives in the area or nearby. Always enjoyed training here and it's a 24/7 gym so that's super convenient!

I want to give them zero stars but it is not an option. If you are looking into going to a new gym, don’t be turned on by this gyms 24 hour access. This is by far the worst ran gym in the history of gyms, the employees all act like they own the place, they are rude, inattentive and if your card gets declined they’ll follow you into the bathroom to ask for a new card. It’s not worth the 24 hour access, planet fitness is better than this dump and the response below is my point exactly. People should have this gym shut down for fraud to be honest.

I recently changed work locations and wanted to come into check out a gym that would be close by to come and workout during breaks. I came in and the manager was super dismissive and all he wanted to do was sell me a membership before I even became comfortable with the facility. He wanted to sell me a day pass for $30 when the actual monthly membership is only $19.99. I was going to have my husband and brother sign up as well but the first impression that I got was horrible from the front staff so I’ll be going somewhere else. They could’ve easily gotten three memberships only if they were a bit nicer.I had to edit to make sure I was clear. I initially called this location being the closest to my workplace and confirmed that I could come in and workout for the day to check it out. I didn’t demand anything or expect anything for free; nor was I told about a fee. The representative confirmed and just to be sure I told him that I would be bringing my husband and brother who would also be potentially getting memberships. Once I arrived, the 2 associates at the front desk had no idea that I was coming and dismissed the situation. The manager came over and showed no care that we drove all the way over to the gym only to be told to pay 100$ (for 3 of us) to work out for the day.Actual successful adults understand the value of time and don’t waste it for others. And maybe they need more knowledgeable people to answer the phone and not give out misinformation. But hey what can I expect from a sales hungry middle aged personal trainer.P.S. Just look the business owner’s responses to negative reviews…says a lot. Also probably why they have over 300 reviews with most of them being negative.

Started this gym a few months ago and it was fine until I signed up for training. The gym itself is fine…. It’s nothing special, they don’t have a ton of equipment, but since they’re 24 hours and there’s not much else around, it is what it is. The trainer I signed up for and have built a program and have gotten comfortable with is no longer working here, when I tried to see if it was possible to cancel training I was told ‘too bad you just have to wait the 60 days you were told that’. First of all, no I wasn’t, second of all I signed up with a specific trainer and didn’t want to start with someone else. I had already put in my cancelation notice for my membership as I’m moving, and during my sign up, that 60Days cancellation WAS brought up to me so I was aware of that, and even though I think it’s a gross way too squeeze out an extra 80 bucks out of someone, I knew about that policy. This is basically a money grab which is a shame because that’s exactly how you turn off members who are now never going to say a positive thing about your gym. The manager wasn’t helpful, didn’t understand what I was trying to say at all, and I’ll never come back here or recommend them to anyone. Edit: after reading some more reviews, and the owners responses I see plenty of people have encountered this same problem, and that sucks.AS A SIDE NOTE: THEY WILL CHARGE YOU EIGHT MONTHS WORTH OF DUES TO ‘CANCEL’ YOUR MEMBERSHIP. THIS PLACE IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM… go elsewhere

I went in last week to discuss family plan options and for what it is worth, they give you a lot of perks when you sign up. $70 gives you all access to premium classes, childcare included, I can restrict when my children can come in after staffing hours, I was given a free youth fitness course for my daughter and she absolutely loved it! Coach James, I believe his name was, was great with her! She can be a handful and he knew just how to get her tired out. I also received an hour assessment with a lifestyle coach and jeeeeez I am just as tired as my daughter. Days after and I am still feeling sore, but when my legs aren't jello, I will be coming back to sign up for Personal Training. Much needed A** kicking!

Lost my job and took a huge paycut due to the pandemic. Originally signed up before covid to take classes and do all the fun gym stuff. Now I dont feel comfortable because of it. Not only will they not let me out of my contract, an associate at the club said they can freeze accounts until the end of the pandemic (usually 90 days max but things have been extended and waived)but I have to email. I emailed and they said they cannot freeze without a doctor's note...in a pandemic. So they dont care about health and wellness. Only your money. Not the fact it might not be in your budget or risking the health of others patrons.Edit: I did publish the email I sent that was "threatening" so patrons can decide on their own
