Mediocre equipment and cancelation policy makes you jump through hoops. You’ll need to visit the gym In person or send a certified mail. No reason when everyone has email. Money hungry gym. 60 day policy. Pathetic. Had a friend who was attacked by another member at the gym and they didn’t force the attacker to leave or revoke his membership. Pathetic. Not making up things. Police were called so there was an incident report. Yeah I signed and agreement but no flexibility and understanding even during a pandemic. You’re petty and the review below mine shows same thing.

This Gym is unorganized when signing up and when canceling gym membership, their staff need more training to do customer support and make sure to have everything in fine print because they will work around what you said. Very unprofessional and not recommend. Be aware of this place.

This gym does everything right! Tons of Classes, 24 hour access every day, baby sitting, huge turf. Urge is Gorgeous, super clean gym, OMG friendly courteous staff, and yes they explain everything clearly. This place feels like home. Oh and the weight loss programs (& bikini prep) trainers are killer!

Hard sell on packages, premiums, and training programs the moment I walked into the gym, hadn't even seen the place yet, it was a very unpleasant experience. Was advertised as having a 20$/month rate, they don't even have monthly it's a minimum 90 day subscription and it was not 20$/month either. From what I've read in several other reviews, cancellations are almost impossible and they find a way to keep the charges coming for a while even after you try to cancel. Thankfully the hard sell when I walked in was enough to turn me away, I got the vibe this place was money hungry and I guess I was right from what I've read in several peoples reviews. Also the owner or whoever is responsible for answering google reviews always insults customers over valid concerns if it's a low star review and calls them liars and usually another insult or two which is kind of funny, definitely makes the business look unprofessional, and is honestly just embarrassing.

Thank you for your attention to my likes only. You wrote to me that Urge is letting me go. Well, this is a big lie. I don’t use the facility nor expensive personal training due to my medical condition. Urge charge me 3,000.00$ for three months of membership and private training. Urge re-activated my membership without my knowledge or any calls. Never received one phone call. Anthony asked me to sign the electronic pad without me reading any documents. The urge never printed any copy of the contract before I signed. I begged Anthony to show me any proof of what I’m signing, the answer is “ no we can’t “ I was forced to pay $3,000$ or collection. My membership is active until January 2022 without using a gym. NOT my choice- a contract is written in horrible condition.Urge charged me for not using a gym.Never did an exception for medical conditions except 1- death or 2- permanent injuries. Nothing else will ever stop you escape from that GYM. Take free money Urge The urge has a million answers - it’s your choice - a grown-up - take your responsibility- until next charge they will do it again. I DO NOT give you any permission billing me for anything anymore. I DO NOT wish be part of your GYM ever again. Specially after Anthony took 3,000.00$ Management are bunch of unprofessional young people. Enjoy Free money. Please be aware if you canceled your membership 90 days before your contract they will take more money from you !!!!!!!

I left my review initially blank because I genuinely don't see this leading to any positive change for the gym since this policy helps push their bottom line and the apparent owner is combative to criticism, but here it is: Urge's cancellation policy, which I personally had no trouble using and for which I fully understood the terms, is seemingly designed to extort money from people who are no longer using the gym. Nothing else about this gym matters in my eyes. Urge provides a contract which plainly states that its customers will continue owing money after they have requested to cancel and I firmly disagree with that practice. They're well within their right to do that and it's perfectly legal, but the practice falls into an ethics gray area and it's up to the consumer to decide if that's something they're willing to accept. But as is the case for my review, the hundreds of other 1-star reviews, their 2-star Yelp average, their 39 complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau, and their B rating and lack of accreditation with the BBB, it will not earn them any praise after folks like me have moved on and we are well within our own right to disagree and warn away potential clients with honest reviews such as these. If you really want my insight: Listen to your most common complaint and improve the cancellation policy, and along the way learn to accept criticism as an opportunity to improve your business and not a chance to hurl caps-lock filled tirades of grade school insults at former clients who were unhappy with it. But I really don't see either of those improvements happening, and I expect more of the same in response here.

I went in to the Urge Fitness in Ewing just to see what all the hype was about. Im not actually from that area, but I had never been inside of an Urge before and wanted to check it out to see what they had to offer.Boy was I impressed. The facility and the equipment was very nice. (not to mention clean and well kept)What truly impressed me however was actually just inside at the front desk. The receptionest (Emily I believe her name was) greeted me in a warm, professional manner. She was anxious to answer any questions I had and seemed very knowledgeable. What started out as "window shopping" quickly turned to delight and I must say that I will be returning to Urge Fitness of Ewing very soon for another great workout.

830 class scheduled for Christmas Day. Instructor no show. No one here to talk to or find out where the instructor is. Bad business!! So frustrating. This is why I switched gyms years ago. Unfortunately that gym closed and not really left any other option in the area.Once again the same instructor that did not show Christmas Day did not show again today. In response to the owners comment from Christmas Day there is no employee in the gym at 0830 and when the manager did come in at nine he had no idea why she wasn’t there. I had no way of knowing if she was ill or not but there should be a way to let members know when a class is cancelled. Today the manager was there and he had no idea why she wasn’t there. The class was still on the schedule. I willbe leaving this gym as soon as my contract is up. I belonged here years ago and this is the exact reason I left. Unfortunately the gym I joined after this closed so I thought I’d give URGE another or shot but looks like things haven’t changed. On a positive note the staff is super nice but it is extremely frustrating when you don’t get what you expect or pay for. I’d like to add here in response to the comment I got from my first posting that I spoke to the instructor that was suppose to teach Christmas Day and she was in fact NOT sick so this tells me the owner is not an honest person. Also the second class that she did not show for on Jan 2 she did not even know about them scheduling her nor did she agree so this club needs a lot of organization.

I love my gym. Using this gym is the first time I've ever lasted with a consistent routine beyond 3 or 4 months. There's a pretty high turnover with staff so I'm not sure what management is like, but the facility is clean, the trainers are professional, knowledgeable, and kind, and the staff are always nice.

Great gym. I always feel welcome here. If I have any questions there is always someone there to answer them and help out. The equipment is in great condition and easy to use. Would rate this gym for beginners or professionals.
