URGE FITNESS Ewing NJ

I went to this Gym for 3 days and paid 300$ because I signed up contract for one year but I was transferred to Florida and there is no way to end contract unless you are physically appear to gym which is stupid because I had to spend 400$ just for flight to end up my contract they do not consider your personal situation they just want money from you. So if someone planning to join this Gym please read there contract and be ready to pay even you don’t go to Gym. You can’t freeze your account too

Great gym great people but it’s like buying a house to cancel your membership. You buy one year membership and you have to cancel 60 days before your last day. So I had to pay for two extra months after my membership expired. And to do so I had to email Urge as to why I’m canceling, with my name and membership #. Than call a separate company in which they handle payments to remove my card. But in order to remove my card I have to email them as to why I would like to remove my card.

Terrible customer service and the worst cancellation policy, dishonest when you sign up. I was told if you move you if you notify them of your moving you can cancel with proof of new address which is no problem. I have no problem paying out the 12 month contract as I have a month left to go but was told I had to pay for 2 more months for no reason after they receive a certified letter. When I had to cancel at another gym I simply had to call and that was it. The gym was fine while there but I'm not sure about upscale.

Beware!!Once you get involved with this gym it's close to impossible to cancel your membership. Even if it's for a medical issue or if you're moving away from the gym. It doesn't matter they still will charge you every month. Urge Fitness will send third-party collections to get the funds no matter what you're circumstances are.Learn from our mistakes. Urge Fitness policies are immoral and repugnant. When it comes to trying to cancel the contract the staff suddenly become rude and bullying (Joe).I wish I looked up this gym here and saw all the poor reviews. It would have saved me a lot of stress and money.I'd recommend finding another gym!

Urge Ewing is a great gym BUT be wary about special promotions/trials. I was a member a while back and decided to give it a try again through a trial. I gave the gym a try for two months and while the gym is clean, the elite fitness program is a really great deal for what you get, the staff is great and there are a wide variety of classes offered, Urge just did not offer any early morning classes (5:30 am). This simply did not work out for my schedule, so I decided to cancel during my trial period. No where in the trial contract did is stay that you need 60 days to cancel during the trial period . It only says that you need 60 days to cancel an actual membership. Now, I am stuck paying for two additional months of a membership I can't even use. Great gym, but their trial periods are misleading.

I went to this gym for about 2 years before moving out of the area. This gym is a great place to go. The facility is nice and the equipment is well maintained. The staff is easy to talk to. I liked the fact that the facility has a package that provides you 24 hour access to the gym. If there was another Urge Fitness around me, I would look to sign up.

Locally owned in a suburban community on a busy avenue.In a strip center with plenty of surface parking and a nearby public high school.Independently owned full service fitness center. 24 hour access avail. Classes, personal training, smoothie bar and some beverages avail.Crosstraining, cardio equipment as well as free weights and abs/stretching sections.During my visit 6-9p on a Wednesday the gym was not overly busy. No wait for equipment, plenty of poundage/plates avail.Friendly staff and membership. I get the feeling of a family here.Pricey in comparison to the national fitness center chains but the members here seem very happy.

The facility and staff are great. I wish I would have paid better attention to the contract details as it is extremely difficult to cancel with this gym. Wishing that the policies were different. Its hard balancing life and working out sometimes. Being locked in a contract makes it even worse. Otherwise the classes are great, facility is clean.

I love Urge Fitness! I have been a member at Urge for almost two years and have had only positive experiences. The facility has a lot of new, well-maintained weight machines and a good variety of equipment to choose from. It is rare that you have to wait to use a machine. They also have TRX Suspension Training! The personal trainers at Urge are very experienced, committed and knowledgeable. They are interested in learning about what "the client" wants in order to achieve the results that you are looking for. Each experience is personalized. The gym membership and training packages are also very reasonable. The entire facility is very well maintained and clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. You cannot find a better gym out there. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

After returning home from living in Las Vegas I was in serious need of a gym! I visited various facilities in the area but found that Urge Fitness was exactly what I needed. They provide the usual equipment and free weights, a ton of great classes and personal training. I was very interested in the personal training sessions and decided to give it a shot. I have had the opportunity to work with Will Carpenter for majority of my sessions and I couldn't be happier with my experience and results. Will is extremely talented and very knowledgeable and will customize your session based on your personal needs and goals. Not only is it a great facility with a lot to offer, it is also extremely affordable.The people are great too! The front desk staff are wonderful and always helpful, the trainers are very knowledgeable and motivating and the maintenance staff keeps the place spotless.This is a really great facility run by really great people and I encourage everyone looking for a gym to stop into Urge Fitness and check it out; you won't regret it!
