Avoid this gym at all costs! They’re a joke of a gym. Their service is absolutely terrible. Staff is nice but incompetent when it comes to helping you with anything related to your account. Forget about cancellations.. you’re gonna wait way too long to get the membership cancelled. You’re basically going there to throw your money away.I don’t have to reiterate the problems that others are already mentioning about the owner and the managers. You can read and decide for yourself.

Avoid this place at all costs if you’re a college student. They will make it very difficult to cancel your membership once you graduate and move away. Originally I was told even though I lived outside the 25 mile radius of any club I couldn’t cancel because my drivers license had not changed.Fast forward a few months and I decided to try asking again because I found my college lease that shows I where I lived at the time I got the membership. I was told over the phone by an employee and manager that my college lease would allow me to cancel my membership since I graduated and since moved home. I drove over an hour to this gym to cancel my membership, having been told twice I was able to do so, only to be told it’s not true once I actually get there.I just paid off my contract to be done with the place. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE A COLLEGE STUDENTEdit after owner replied:The owner claims to have offered a monthly plan where I could cancel at any time. This is simply not true. No such plan was ever offered to me or I would have obviously taken it given my situation. Some common sense easily tells who’s telling the truth here. But hey given the fact I was told twice by an employee and manager I could cancel my contract with my old lease only to find out that was a lie, it seems lying isn’t a foreign concept to this gym. While this plan may exist, I can confidently say with absolutely no guilt on my conscience that it was NEVER offered to me when I signed up. Had it been offered, my experience would have been better when trying to leave. Also the fact that so many people have liked my review should say something about this place. But clearly improvement and feedback aren’t welcome

Classes are great, the trainers are very personal and the front desk staff are just wonderful. I do wish they had a sauna but other then that I couldn't ask for a better place. I was uncomfortable with gyms until this place.

You gotta love brand new EVERYTHING, gorgeous club, helpful staff and URGE is the only gym around with classes & 24 hour access. And baby sitting!I feel bad for other gyms.Weight loss challenges (lose 20 in 2020), short term or 12 month agreements are offered with super simple cancel procedures.(Just send an email to the cancellation department. How simple is that?) 6th star for the great trainers and welcoming staff.

Gym is clean and well lit. Nice equipment. Locker room can get crowded, it's small. The trainer I had orientation with was not helpful. We spent our time arguing for no apparent reason so I cut that meeting short. If you know what you are doing and just want to go in and work out it's okay. I'm fairly certain once my membership is up I'll be heading over to PEAC.Update: revised to one star due to horrible contract. Due to Covid nobody could go to gym. Couldn't cancel the contract no one would answer the phone. In September the gym reopened. Was not comfortable continuing to go to gym so tried to cancel the contract. The contract is horrible. There's nothing about how they need to provide any service. It's all about how you have to pay money no matter what happens. be aware that the second you sign that contract no matter what happens you're obligated to pay every penny through the duration of it. No matter how terrible the gym gets you are on the hook!

I am recanting my 5 star review. Urge is fine if you join up the first day and you never have to deal with the sales team again. I joined another faculty due to travel distance and newer equipment. I have been getting numerous phone calls from Joe the regional sales manager asking me if I decided to get into shape. I told him I joined elsewhere else and to please remove my name from the call list. After several more messages were left on my voicemail I receive another call and this guy tells me "talk to you next time" after I ask to be removed from the call list.Another reason is they DO NOT offer military or law enforcement pricing. I asked twice to make sure.I am sure the owner(s) are going to have a smart comment as that seems to be their go to for any negative review. This is my experience, proceed with caution.BillUSMC

BE WARY OF THEIR CONTRACT TERMSI had a membership here for 3 years and decided to switch gyms considering on weekdays between 4-8, lines began forming to use each piece of equipment.I went to the front desk and properly cancelled my membership. The contract states you must give a 60 day notice so I agreed that’d be fine and paid the additional 2 months. Another month goes by and they charge me again. I call and say it’s an error and even though their notes recorded me cancelling my membership, it was not cancelled because “I didn’t send an email” even though the front desk told me my membership was cancelled. THIS LEAD ME TO BEING FORCED TO PAY FOR AN EXTRA 5 MONTHS OF MEMBERSHIP.Absolutely unprofessional and in no way cares about their customers. Terrible WiFi and the staff constantly tries convincing you to hire a $60/hr personal trainer. They also constantly have lines for half of the equipment. You’re better off going anywhere else.

Wayne was extremely friendly and helpful! It had been my first time in a while going back to a gym, and he made me feel very comfortable and gave me the confidence to work out again. Urge gym is very clean, and they have great equipment. The best part is that their gym is 24 hours, so I’m able to work around my school schedule to make time to work out.

Amazing gym with great staff and equipment. They just recently got a bunch of new equipment and a new paint job ! They’re a diamond in the rough but they listen to their clients and do what they can to fix what can be wrong. Management is honest with you about your contract and make it 100% clear to you what you’re signing. Even with that if you’re an adult you should be able to read for yourself and know what you’re getting into before you sign up.The best true 24/7 gym around cause you can even get in on holidays with the right membership !They may not have towel service anymore but they added child care and thousands of dollars worth of new equipment ! This place is like a family #TeamUrge

I enjoyed being a member in this gym while I was in the area for school. I have shortened my name for my email so my name is Alejandro Mazariegos in their system. This was over the course of a year and a half. Their contract states that you can’t cancel within the first year, I completed my contract and remained in this gym, everything was great. However, on my last visit I informed the front desk attendant I would be cancelling my membership, he said I’d have to come in later to speak to someone, which i could not do as I had work. I asked for an email to email the person in charge of cancelling the memberships to which he responded that they didn’t have one. My bank statements haven’t been getting sent to my new address and I am just now informed they have been billing me despite the young man at the front desk taking my information, saying he’d relay the message.
