Crunch Fitness - Tuscaloosa

There are a lot of machines, and the Sauna is actually hot. However I have a major issue. The personal trainers did high pressure sales tactics to up sell me on a higher package and then scheduled me at the absolute wrong times (that I did not request) and never delivered basically costing me $120 worth of services I did not receive. Also the bathrooms are usually gross.Based on the owner’s response, this location is very disorganized so my review will not be changing but which gym I’m a member of will be changing.

Honestly they have everything you need!! The staff is very lovely and they work with you, especially if you have a lot of questions. They have every machine you would need and they have so many great classes if you are fairly new to the workout world.They also provide personal training so if you want more 1 on 1 that is perfect for you!! The greatest thing about this gym is they are 24/7!!! Overall, coming to this gym they gave me a warm welcome and made me feel like a part of the family right away!!

I can't tell you how much i enjoy their equipment and how large of an area it is for that alone i would give them 5 stars but I've been coming here for 4 months now and the worst thing is the bathrooms i know you can't expect the floors to be spotless bc of the amount of traffic but c'mon let's fix the urinals and toilets it's absolutely disgusting to walk and here splashing of toilet water and it smells like hot piss like wth and no it's not that sauna the gives that smell it's warm piss sitting in the urinals absolutely disgusting and now there's a roll of paper to soak it up?! Nasty!!! get someone who knows what they're doing to fix this!

Was great in the past, be warned they will charge you after you cancel in person. It’s been 4 months of being charged monthly and I can’t even get them to answer their phone after calling 5 days in a row. Oh and did I mention their voicemail is full so you cant even leave a voicemail. We’ll see how long it takes to actually cancel and get my refund (if ever). Be ready to be ripped off if you sign up at Crunch Tuscaloosa

Love the ZUMBA classes but get there early or you will not find a parking spot.

Do NOT get a membership here unless you never want to cancel.Easy to sign up, sure. Try to cancel and it could take a whole year. I have not been to this place in a YEAR due to PCSing for the military in a whole different state that doesn’t even have Crunch Fitness locations. Before permanently moving, I had cancelled my membership and did the whole process of signing off on it. I guess the workers are incompetent on how to do their job or just weren’t trained properly. After the whole process of what I thought was cancelling my membership, I’m getting calls and texts saying I owe around $100 for membership fees many months later. What.A whole year of me not scanning the little barcode key chain and yet they still think I go there? What’s the purpose of the key tag for lol.So, I go in person, at 2pm, trying to talk to the General Manager that wasn’t there. (Again. I live in a different state now.) Instead, the whole situation gets handled by one of the guys by the desk. After explaining my situation, I was told by Zeth that he couldn’t do anything with my account since it was inactive, though I showed the calls & texts of where Crunch kept asking for payments…Long story short, don’t waste your money or your time.

I liked training here fine. But I'm unable to login to the site, and I haven't been able to contact Crunch via phone, FB, or email for a month to cancel my membership while out of state. Judging by the reviews, looks like they intentionally trap people into memberships and make it next to impossible to cancel. That's unacceptable.

Just got a membership here at crunch and honestly it was all because of Brad! Probably one of the most welcoming and respectful guys I’ve ever had the honor of meeting. His character is definitely a magnet for clientele and I probably would not have registered for crunch has he not been the first person to talk to me.
