Nice club, looks small for outside but it’s big from inside good pools, cardio and weight training space are good too, Their swimming classes for kids has a little bit high prices comparing with other clubs in the area plus a very downside is before and after swimming classes the kids should change their clothes outside the building with the cold weather and rain and it’s very bad and annoying thing specially in winter time, the swimming trainers are good to be honest، My review was on la camas athletic club before it became Gold’s Gym just want to mention that.

Gold's bought this place in January 2022. I joined in June. They have been making improvements to equipment, maintenance, cleaning and staffing. I use the indoor pools and the weight room. They still have some updates and renovations to make, but I have been really happy here for over 7 months months now. Super nice staff, and they listen to their customers. Super convenient and I love it there.

Absolute worst place to have a membership. Was hoping for changes with Gold's Gym but not the case. They are still far from being people or community minded. Read the reviews, beware and stay away...

We will never sign up for swim lessons here again. We have done swim lessons prior at the Y (parent child). We figured, let’s try Gold’s because it’s closer to home. Here are the reasons we are so dissatisfied.1. It is the same price as the Y but classes are 20 minutes shorter. (Classes are 45 min at the Y)2. The instructor is a high school student who has zero confidence in her ability (if I am paying this price the instructor better know what she’s doing)3. She hardly talks or gives any instruction (you can’t even hear her when she does talk)4. She doesn’t know any of the songs she is supposed to teach5. There was no introduction of herself or other kids in the class6. The pool is FREEZING for the infants.7. The instructor doesn’t even engage with any of the kids. At the Y even though it was parent kids classes too, the teacher came to each kid and played with them. This was an AWFUL experience for the price you pay. I would MAYBE pay $50 for a class like this. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Great gym! Such a wide assortment of equipment for any workout style! Much better since Golds took over!

New club for Camas... I'm Also a member of 24 hour fitness. If they make all the changes they say they're going to make. Especially with the pickleball courts. I'll make this my new go-to club!

Love the gym but would be nice to see more than one squat rack, some more plate loaded equipment, and more free-weights and benches. Weight area feels more like a really well equipped anytime fitness rather than a Gold’s. Tanning is subpar.

If I could give no stars, I would. I tried to be sympathetic as the new owners took over and got their feet under them. Our child has been part of the swim team for almost 3 years. We have spent thousands of dollars on private swim lessons. None of that seems to matter to the new owner, Michael De Monet. A huge amount of kids have quit the team because of all the chaos and poor communication (last we heard it was over 25%). We have had instructors ‘no show’ for private swim lessons, practices cancel at the last minute and the inability to schedule private lessons because of coach availability. The new coach, Wesley, doesn’t really seem to care if you stay or go and refuses to advocate for the kids. There are excuses galore for all these problems. It is obvious that this owner only cares about money. He doesn’t seem to care about good customer service, Oh! I forgot to mention that they increased the team fees by nearly double, and are now charging a yearly administration fee of $240 (aside from what you pay to the USAA fee). They have a mandatory attendance policy, which is no big deal except you are stuck paying for the year swim contract even if your child is kicked off the team for attendance. They will also not make any accommodations for students who participate in other sports. It’s very apparent Michael De Monet only cares about money. He clearly doesn’t care about our kids.

This is a selfish kind of place. Absolutely not kids friendly, unorganized and I have to agree with most of the reviews - they just care about your money. You DON'T GET even close to what other places offer for less what Golds GYM charges. By the way....there is a falling rusted ceiling pieces hazard in the pool. Pool is desperately needs repairs and maintenance. I really hope this place will get a complete remodel to the now days standards and become a Family friendly place!
