After being a member here for almost 5 years I canceled my membership last week after getting into a debate over the eyewear for the tanning bed with the club manager. Long story short I brought my own that said UV protection on the side and he said he couldn't except it, I asked him what was the difference between my glasses and his and he asked me if mine was UV A or B 😫. And I asked him if the stickers they used to sell for 2 dollars (to put over your eyes) were A or B and he said "I don't know that was before my time"I was upset because he said it was for liability protection and I said I showed you my eyewear so you are related from liability and this is just a super LAME fundraising effort to extort members for a couple bucks and if so I bought another pair from him and sold him this made me want to cancel my membership and eagerly he said ok we can do that! 😆 when I was done tanning heI could see his reflection when I was coming out and he was waiting to jam me up and said hey I got that cancelation ready for you so I did it, never been hight pressure to get cancelled . I am disappointed because I always try to help and look forward to small business and being a local bartender in the community have urged my co workers and other patrons to check you guys out but honestly with this experience I will have to say the club manager lacks professionalism and that is going to trickle all the way down

I’ve been a member here for over 4 years. Armando the manager, as well Jasmine and Tawna are rockstars with extra bonus rockstar points for David S., who’s been there over three years and also always terrific. This team is consistently friendly – greets you on entry, wishes you well on exit – professional and helpful. Thanks guys – you make it great to workout here!

Here is what my very expensive, $20 day pass got me.The poor employees were so stressed and swamped with things to do that I had a 10 minute wait before I was able to get some help.Gym area was adequate. And a very cold shower with a motion sensor showerhead. Of which, turned on when I didn't want it to and didn't work when I did want it to. Very frustrating.

Masks requiredNot the best selection of equipmentCancelation charges were $58Last place id recommendThey really hammer down on the masks here. If it's below your nose they will make sure to let you know. This is great for some people so i won't go into detail about it. But i am the type that gets annoyed when someone stops me to tell me I'm not wearing my seat belt properly. The equipment is limited. You will find more selection and better equipment at any other gymI can't stand when cancelation becomes an issue. Gyms are the worst at this. You can't cancel in an app or online. So if you are out of town, use a different gym!!! Other wise canceling will be in person or writing a letter and hoping the cancellation takes place. The $58 cancelation and not pro rating and refunding the monthly member ship is what really prompted me to write a review. They will keep my member ship open for longer and charge me for it.Make sure that the low price of the membership is the most important thing for you. Other than that there is nothing better about this gym compared to others. The extra little bit is well worth it in my opinion.I do not power lift or body build. I get very concerned that i will be too loud if i breathe heavy with headphones on. It says "judgement free zone" but I've never felt like people were judging me more than here. I will be lifting very quietly and i feel like there is a type of people that look disgusted, and walk away. The lunk alarm sign never goes off but i couldn't stop staring at it. I felt judged in their judgement free zone.

I forgot my mask for the first time today, so I walked in and asked the staff if they have disposable masks. The lady at the counter let me know that they do, but charge a fee plus tax. Are you kidding me? How disgusting of them to take advantage of a situation that we're all going through. I should have just canceled my membership right then and there and went to Gold's Gym instead.Disgusting and distasteful, but go ahead and do what you gotta do to make your extra buck Planet Fitness... Gross.

Definitely needs an upgrade machine's are often unavailable due to need for repair. Last few times I've been in masks haven't been enforced among patrons. The space itself is kind of small so a little difficult on a busy day. Staff is always very nice though

Told me I was canceled so I moved out of state. Wouldn't cancel payments for 7 months then refused to refund me after everything was sorted out. Also a friend that works there says they don't do maintenance on their machines until they break. So have fun getting crushed by the leg press.

classic pf gym. Management needs to better train it's employees at this one. This morning at 8:30am in hazel dell the employee was playing on her phone for 5 minutes while I stood there to check-in to the black room. I had to finally call her to help out (she was facing me even), and when I said something that she should focus on the her job first and her phone second she responded it's just a gym and nobody cares and after all it's 8 in the morning (all I can say is wow) Horrible representation of your brand and your club.mike

The gym itself was decent and staff is friendly but the showers are terrible. They run off automatic sensors at chest height. When putting your things on the recess in the shower, you need to reach over the sensor, or you will get drenched. If you prefer to change behind the curtain, you will very likely get your clothes wet. There is no on/off switch, and the sensor is very finicky, so it will turn off and on many times throughout a short shower. Not sure why this was done in the first place maybe to save water? Bc it doesn't. I found it actually wastes more, when it activates when you don't want it to.This is the only PF I have seen like this.

I have gone to gym in Hazel Dell for over a year and didn't have any issues until this past weekend. At 9:43a on Saturday (2/19), I received a call from credit card company and bank, concerning fraudulent charges. I was the gym at the time and went to check my locker, finding that someone had broken into it, stealing my wallet. It was also determined that other members had there locker broken into as well. I contacted the 2 employees who was working who drafted an incident report and tried to determine who committed the crime.I understand that this can happen but I want to shed some light on the issues that I saw that morning. There were 2 female employee working that morning, which seem to be common this past few weekends. Based on how busy they were this past weekend, it would be difficult to break away to complete hourly locker room walk-throughs. I also see how difficult it would for a female to walk through the men's locker-room without having some type assistance. Next issue I want to bring the light is the condition on the men's locker doors. After experiencing this incident, I looked at other lockers and noticed a lot damaging displaying tampering of locks or latches. Although the 2 employees help me the best they could, i am still waiting on a call from management.
