Aside from the great prices and amenities (I frequently use the tanning beds and Total body enhancement) the staff is awesome. Cody James is usually there every early morning. He is Super nice and helpful, and always has a great attitude.

Their return to normal (post COVID) has been phenomenal! During limited capacity they waited outside with you rain or shine. Everyday after work I looked forward to talking to Forrest at their hazel dell location. Clean & considerate, check ‘em out!

As someone else commented, the sensor showers are awful. I have been to quite a few planet fitness locations and have never seen them before. They randomly stop while you’re showering if you don’t stand directly in front of the sensor. Also makes it difficult to put your shower items in the cubby without soaking your arm.

I found out Planet Fitness reopened by being charged after I had already requested my account be closed. I received no communication whatsoever, so I had no opportunity to stop the charges in advance. I'm not comfortable going in yet because my wife has an immune disorder - it's important that neither of us catches COVID-19 and we couldn't foresee using the gym anytime in the next year or so.So I called in, again requested to cancel my membership and asked for a refund. They declined the refund, saying their "higher ups" mandated no refunds for any reason. I'll dispute the charge, that's easy enough. Great job, you've lost a customer for life over one month of charges you were never even entitled to.10/15/2020 Update: I called again and the manager promised to escalate my refund request to upper management. I never heard back so, after three weeks, called back and inquired about the status. No one had any idea what I was talking about. I filed a charge back through my bank and had my money back within a week.

I’ve been working out here for years and the place always looks clean and in order. One of the staff members named Olivia has been the biggest help with answering questions about my membership and with updates throughout the pandemic. She’s the one who’s helped me consistently and is always friendly and professional. Will continue to workout here whenever I can.

I'm not one to give bad reviews but they have such terrible customer service! They have no compassion or empathy for what is happening right now with the pandemic. I was sick and unable to go in to cancel my membership in time to avoid the yearly fee (because they claim they are unable to cancel over the phone even though they just did it today), and they refuse to budge on reversing the charge, AND did not cancel my membership last week when I asked. Two employees I spoke to were rude, didn't care, and not helpful (a third one was great to speak with but unable to do anything). They may charge a low monthly fee but they will get your money in other ways. I understand they are running a business, but some flexibly needs to be taken into account given the state of the world.

Asked to use the tanning bed and was informed it would be about 7 minutes. Told them no problem I’ll just do the massage chair for 15 to give them plenty of time. Got done with the massage chair waited up front for about 5 minutes because nobody would help me, then they informed me they put somebody else ahead of me even though I was in line and it would be another 15 minutes. Currently looking into different gyms membership. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened and I don’t know why I would pay for a gym membership with perks if I never actually received them. On top of that a couple months back ALL of the tanning beds we’re broken or closed down and they were not willing to discount my membership for not being able to use them. Extremely disappointed.

Amazing place to workout. Everything is always clean, locker rooms are always fresh, no garbage anywhere to be found. Their worker Forrest is always going around ensuring people are following the rules and by doing so is creating a safe environment for everyone

I prefer this location to Mill Plain because I find the staff here very friendly. Olivia has been my go to every time I come in because she really wants me to tan every time! I feel like she really does care about my well being. The place is clean too. No complaints here, 5 stars!
