I like this Gym just think there should be more cable weights and weights. They do not need a sea of cardio machines just too many people want to do do much more at the gym. Come on Planet fitness get with it! Also the 30 min express workout would be great if there weren’t meatheads in there using just one machine the entire time it messes up the idea of full body express workout.

What can you say? It is a gym where you can go and work out without judgement and a ton of people bumping chest and grunting loudly. That is their modus operandi. It is not extravagant like some gyms and has what you need to get a good workout with a large amount of space....but the price is right. Try it if you want to get in get a good workout and get out without feeling judged.

Just went today for the first time since late March. Don’t know if people realize that if you’re allowing people to work out with a mask that doesn’t cover your nose, you may as well not wear a mask at all. Very disappointed to say the least. Been a member for 15yrs, gotta figure other options Sorry don’t want to be the mask police, but staff needs to get on it.

Upgraded my membership so that I could use a gym on my way home instead of having to drive out of my way after getting out of work. Very nice for the space they have. Equipment seems newer than my home gym. Employees are friendly.

Joined this planet fitness. I have not been going as regularly because of the pandemic but I am anxious to start up again. The Naugatuck location is very clean and spacious. I like the way the machines are arranged. I feel very comfortable when exercising there It is so nice to be able to park in their large parking lot. When at a previous gym the parking was so impossible it deterred me from even going. Hint: the parking was minimal and one was never sure if they were parking in another establishments parking places.

While I'm not a planet fitness member I think its an okay gym for those who like to just keep their fitness on the cardio side with mild weight lifting. Rack finishes at 75 pounds. Machinery is limited and o is the space. Their is more treadmills and elliptical and one gym should be allowed.All in all I guess that works for most. Clean and a nice quiet environment if that's what you looking for in your workout.

I am a black card member. Today I brought to this gym my daughter as a guest. Staff member, named Jordan, also a manager, refused to let my daughter enter the gym because she didn’t have her photo ID -he asked for either passport or birth certificate. (She is 15 years old and doesn’t have driver license). Birth certificate doesn’t have a photo, so it can’t be considered as photo ID, and not everyone has a passport. For other gyms in the past I just signed the waiver for a minor child, which manager Jordan probably didn’t know about.So we both left the gym without workout. I felt like I wanted to cancel my membership right there. But manager Jordan didn’t care if I would. I asked if he can make exception for this time and I’ll bring it next time, he still refused, showing me a tiny piece of paper hanging on the back, which you can’t see, with rules.Anyway,We drove to another Planet Fitness where friendly staff after sign in let me to bring my guest without any problems.I am very disappointed in Naugatuck Planet Fitness and won’t recommend it.

I signed a contract for 1 year. At the end of the year, that contract was supposed to be void. Apparently, the contract "rolls over" but there is no fee to cancel. This was not specified and my account as billed for the past 5 months when I haven't even been to the gym. Very sneaky. Will not use this gym again.

Nice gym but the only annoying thing is that the paper towel dispensers are Always breaking. No one wants to walk across the entire gym to wipe down Their machine. They need new dispensers ASAP

Update- refused to cancel membership and states I owe 51.00 for annual fee. Wow penny down gets a lot of people but when you try to end after a year your met with foolishness. To the manager with the body dysmorphia and valley perm you'll never get it. So glad I'm at a real fitness center without a front desk and clowns..lol lolTerrible!! Only in naugatuck valley.. Been a member for 1yt wanted to cancel. Reasons unprofessional staff, poor cell phone reception poor signal in most areas of gym, outdated useless equipment, and if your black they want your keys so they can scan you in. I was told that it's for their safety. No other gym does that. Called and came to the gym to cancel told that I needed to come back on the 10th of the month because that's billing cycle. 2 days later recieve annual contract fees. Went back to be treated unfairly and I believe it's due to race.. African American. Maliea I have sent my cancellation demand letter certified if not resolved chro is the next step. Your staff don't even know who owns the franchise..smh you pay cheap you get cheap service.
