Great customer service. My sales associate knew the workings of VASA fitness and was very knowledgeable. I had some unique and different questions regarding my membership and the associate very capably helped me through all of the hurdles. Very impressed, I would recommend VASA to anyone.

The staff is nice but I got roped into bills I can't afford. I told them I could ONLY afford the 20 a month and they said we completely understand I'll get you working with a trainer for 20, lo and behold a month later a $80 was pulled from my account for vasa. I've been on the phone for an hour on hold waiting to talk to a representative to cancel my trainer. They are salesmen, not your friends.

Gym both gyms I have been to are dirty, disorganized, and no one re-racks their weights. Employees are not friendly, so not great you, and do not offer a tour of the gym.I attribute this to poor management and lack of employee engagement. I liked the fact that there was swimming and more machines than PF.... But PF 8s clean , friendly, and the staff is helpful

I've been to this location, the Sandy one, and the Van Winkle gym. I'd say West Jordan is better than the Van Winkle location but Sandy is far superior to both. At the Sandy location, there's usually someone there constantly putting weight back to keep the place organized. Their staff are a lot friendlier as well. If you go to this location during busy house good luck finding a pair of 10lb-25lb free weights because they're always strewn across the gym with no one putting them back. They've recently made some changes that I don't fully understand either. The lights face down now instead of up at the ceiling. Not really sure why they did this as it doesn't seem to add any benefit. They also added a training area for those who have purchased personal training sessions. It's made the machines feel super cramped unfortunately. There's another closed off training area that's strictly for personal training only. It used to be a women's training space (which also didn't make sense) but they converted it recently. I rarely see them doing personal trainings when I've gone so I often wonder if they're making the money back in the investment they've put into the areas with those personal trainings. Either way, it's annoying for the rest of us who prefer to train on our own. They currently only have 3 squat towers, which seems to be the most sought after. I'd recommend they add at least one more in and maybe get rid of one of the shoulder press towers. They have replaced all the machine/seat covers and brought in new plates so that's pretty nice. I feel as though their equipment is mostly maintained with the exception of their cables that are often broken.Lastly, your interaction with the staff is a toss up. Sometimes they're super friendly and sometimes they won't acknowledge you at all.

5 stars for how they handled the following situation: I was charged for a guest pass for a couple months after my membership had been cancelled, when I realized the charges, I took it into the Vasa in WJ, and they helped me right away to …

Predatory capitalism of the worst kind. The "Comcast" of gym franchises, if you will. They try to lure you in with free passes and then ambush you with an army of salespeople trying to pitch you a membership. They swear no hidden fees but …

I love this gym so much. I’ve been coming here for about a year and a half and I’ve been to other Vasa’s around the valley but this one is definitely my favorite! It’s full of good, nice, hardworking people with the same goal of getting fit! It’s also super big and spread out for the most part. The only thing I wish was different was more squat bars and more lower weight dumbbells!

Staff is always friendly and welcoming. I've always enjoyed my experiences here. The only two places that I think it could improve on is better upkeep on the men's restroom and then more of the lighter dumbbells. Other than those two small slights, this is a great gym.

In the past I've rated this gym pretty low. The set up was strange and there was weights everywhere. Very rarely would rules be enforced. Recently I was there and everything has been moved for the better. I'm impressed with the direction. I just wish there were more mirrors in the locker room. I don't get that.
